(Important chapter. Love yall!)
"Happy Birthday, love," Damon said slightly shaking me.
"I'm eighteen," I said looking at him.
"Your eighteen."
"I can get a tattoo!"
"Let's save that for another day."
"Nah," I laughed.
He rolled his eyes and kissed me,"I'll take you later."
I smiled into the kiss. We pulled away and I went to get ready for the day. I walked downstairs and saw all of my friends there.
"You guys are more excited then me," I told them.
"Your eighteen," tyler said bringing me into a hug.
Stefan walked into the living room with a cake. They all started singing to me, and I stood there like an idiot.
"Who's idea was this?" I asked laughing.
"Me and Tyler," scarlett said hugging me.
"What's the first thing your going to now that your eighteen?" Stefan asked.
"Get a tattoo. "
"I'm paying. That's my gift!" Damon yelled from across the hall.
"That would be you," scarlett laughed.
Suddenly I heard a knock from the door. I opened it to reveal elijah.
"Theres my favorite original come-"
"Dont invite me in. The whole reason you live here is so only a few vampires can come in. I wanted to give you a gift and wish you happy birthday," he said handing me a gift.
I opened it to reveal a pair of nice headphones.
"Its so you can tune me out when I kidnap you," he said making me smile.
"Thank you E," i said Hugging him.
He stood there awkwardly. I pulled away and he stared at me.
"That's a hug elijah."
"I'm aware. I dont like it."
I laughed and shook my head.
"Happy birthday Cam, I promise to make sure you have many more."
"Thank you Elijah."
Like that he was gone. I went back in and enjoyed the party with my friends and opened the gifts. After the party was over damon took me to get my tattoo.

"Have you had a good birthday?" He asked after we left.
"Yes I have. I love you baby," I said kissing him.
"I love you to love," he said driving us home.
He pulled in and we went inside.
"I'm back!" I yelled coming into the livingroom.
The sight in front of me made me freeze.
"Alice."
"Hello daughter," she said with a sick smile.
"Scar, why is she here?"
"Tell her scarlett," alice said.
"Dont hurt her!" I yelled.
"I dont see why you care, seeing as shes not your sister."
"Quit lying!" I yelled.
"Tell her Scarlett. Tell her how you've lied. How you have now gotten me the moonstone. How now Klaus will know exactly where she is. Tell her how you never loved her," alice sneered.
"Scar?" I turned to the dark haired girl.
"I'm sorry," she whispered.
"What the hell! Why go through all this for Cameron. Why do you need her so damn bad!" Damon demanded.
"Shush. This is between and mother and daughter," my mom said and used a silencing spell on damon.
"Dont hurt him," I growled.
"Tell the boy to go," my mother said.
"Go," I said to damon.
He shook his head no, so I used a spell to make him leave.
"I see you've touched up on the magic. Scarlett wasnt supposed to teach you that much," alice sneered.
"That's all me. What do you want from me. Klaus cant enter this house," I said to her,"and I'm not leaving with you."
"Willingly. Your not leaving willingly," she corrected me.
Suddenly I was against the wall. She sent me a smirk before biting into my neck. I released an earpeircing scream, before I used my wolf strength to push her off of me.
"Get you," I screamed and used a spell to push her against the wall.

I saw scarlett going to leave.
"Your not going anywhere," I said and used a spell to make her stay still.
"Are you not tired yet?" My mom asked with a smirk.
"I can do this all day."
Suddenly my mom rushed to me again. Her hands were on my head like she was about to snap my neck. In fear I thought a spell and sent her flying into some furniture. She stood up and I did the spell again, this time landed one piece of broken wood. It was through her stomach.
"You were so much stronger then I could ever imagine. Dont Kilmer daughter!" She begged.
I picked up another piece of wood.
"How will I know you wont go back to klaus and tell him where I am," I said.
"Your my daughter. I love you Cameron! I really do!" She said crying,"please dont kill me!"
I started to cry and hesitated for a second. My hands started to shake as my mind wrestled with itself.
"I wish I could believe that," I whispered and brought the stake down through her heart.
"No!" I heard scarlett scream in the background.
I fell to the ground in sobs as I looked at my dead mothers body. I had to kill her. I had to.
"Wheres scarlett?" Stefan asked running in.
I looked around frantically. I had lost the connection with the spell and she had escaped. Realizing this I sobbed even harder.
"Why is alice dead?" I heard caroline.
"What's going on?" Elena questioned.
I sat on the ground sobbing harder. The voices around blurred until it was just nice. My breathing became irregular and my chest felt like it was going to explode. Everything around me was so loud.
"Everyone shut up!" I screamed.
"Everyone let her breathe," damon demanded.
He pulled me into his lap and rocked my back and forth.
"Shush. It's okay, love," he whispered.
"I killed her! I killed my own mother!" I was in hysterics.
I was thinking clearly. I thought I felt bad when I killed vicki. When I activated the curse. But nothing felt worse then this.
Nothing in my life has hurt as much as killing the woman who gave me life.
"You had to. No one blames you. Shush, love," damon said and continued rocking me.
"I'm a monster," I continued to cry.
"I'm the monster, not you," he said.
"Not anymore."
When Cameron fell to the ground in sobs the spell connection was broke. I saw her broken figure and knew I had chosen the wrong side, but it was too late for me. It was always to late for me.
"I'm sorry, sis," I said before running from the house.
I started to cry as I ran from everything.
As I ran from Caroline.
As I ran from the salvatores.
As I ran from the one place that felt like home.
As I ran from the one person I had ever considered family.
I was in the middle of the woods when I was too tired to run.
"Why did alice have to kidnap me and manipulate me?" I sobbed to myself.
"Why do I have to hurt everyone i love!" I continued to scream.
"Why am i such a fucking screw up!"
"On the contrary dear. I find you quite useful," the voice of the man I dread above all ringed through the woods.
"Hello Klaus."
(This is one of my favorite chapters I've written, so I hope you enjoy it. Her gifts from everyone will be below. I love you all and thank you for reading.)
