"There it is." Menchi says pointing over to a ledge. I hop off the float and walk over to it. I looked down to practically see a bottomless pit,i felt my heart start to speed up. I felt a tug on hand and realized that I was being pulled away"don't get to close or you'll fall." Killua plainly says"Killua,I cant do this." I told him"huh? Why not?" I shake my head"it's to deep. I could die!" Killua rolls his eyes"you could still always forfeit. Go back home and be a failure~." I shake my head"n-no."
"Don't worry. It might look deep but there's a river below. However,I suggests not falling into it. You could die or end up miles away from here." She explains taking off her boots and setting them aside. She then runs over and falls!?
I grabbed onto Killua's arm in fright. I've practically grown attached to the boy,I don't really understand why though. He hasn't said anything about me being clingy to him so,I guess he doesn't mind.
A few minutes later Menchi appeared alive and well with an egg in her hand. "Wah! Cool!" Killua exclaims"yea! I was expecting something like that!" Gon agrees"alright! LET'S GO FOR IT!" Gon screams"Killua I can't go imma die~!"
I cry but before I knew Killua had shoved me off the edge.
I saw white ropes attached to both sides of the cliff. I grabbed on to dear life,I was basically crying at this point. "See? You didn't die." Killua says with a soft smile"I COULDVE!" I screeched at him as he laughs"but you didn't~." I then heard the webs snapping"YOU WERE SAYING?!" I screamed at him, people above us and behind us started to fall due to webs almost breaking.

"GON! CAN WE GO YET?!" I scream as Gon shakes his head"not yet..."I heard the webs snapping some more. "This is where I'm going to die,I know it." I muttered to myself"NOW!" Gon yells letting go of the web and quickly rushes down.
I let go of the web as well, and shut my eyes tightly. Eventually we all made it up back to where the float was.
I was on the ground trying to calm my nerves. I heard footsteps and then saw 2 pairs of purple shoes"geez you're such a crybaby." I look to see Killua with a straight face. I didn't see any emotion in his eyes,"a-are you annoyed by me?" Killua didn't respond and only stands up and offers his hand, which I gladly take.
"Nah you're fine. Like I told you,you remind me of a little sister." He states"now come on,stop crying and let's get the egg over to them." I nod and carry the egg over to Menchi.
"Y/N!" I turn to see Gon rushing over to us"are you ok? Are you hurt?!" He seemed really concerned,I only shook my head"I-I'm fine physically. But mentally and emotionally,no..."Gon wraps his arms around me and pulls me into a hug"you did fine!" He smiles pulling away"I told her she'd be fine." Killua speaks up"b-but how can I trust you?" I continued wiping my eyes"aw,it's ok Y/N. You don't need to cry anymore. The scary thing is over with." I nod"o-ok..."I whisper"now, let's go onto the float!"
This has been a traumatic day for me...

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. The Morgulon
Greg never really wanted to become a werewolf hunter. He just wanted to prove to his father that he could do the job his family was famous for, maybe earn some money while he’s at it. He certainly never wanted to become a werewolf, or run away from home, or fight the inquisition. Unfortunately, as his brothers would say, fate has a shitty sense of humour. Updates on Mondays. "I feel like this story perfectly represents how you can't judge a book by its cover (or, in this case, concept). Edgy badboy werewolf teen romance? Yeet that concept out the window and get ready for an action-packed fantasy with an incredibly built world and logical, realistic characters." "This is a great story, probably better than any werewolf novel I've read. It's certainly not a typical werewolf story (but don't let that stop you from reading it, the werewolves are still amazing.)" "A werewolf story where people aren't constantly meeting gruesome ends that still maintains a gritty atmosphere. Realistic worldbuilding and character design make this a must read!" - RR reviews The first chapter is also on DeviantArt, more may follow.

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.
