I'm taking this word-for-word from the book; 'Crystal Beats History, written by unnamed man'

'Said "Crystal Beats" actually have two other names;Prism Ghouls and Gem Devils, all of which were made up by humans. The beasts can speak normal languages, but have one of their own which is yet to be decoded by people. Their known history is little to none,but they are said to come from a different universe. They also have crystalized wings the same color as their bodies. Cross-Breeding is also very possible in between tribes, and even with humans themselves. Not much else was discovered until years later when a group of scientists found some things nigh groundbreaking. Not only do the creatures seem to control any element or substance at will, but Prism Ghouls have 6 set tribes, with different colors, behavioral patterns and purposes;

The Adventurers are either pink or green. Fittingly, their job is likely to scout out for whatever they want to. Though they have no fighting skills, Adventurers are quite friendly. A unique set that only they possess is temporary camoflouge with their wings.

These are arguably the smartest of the tribes, and commonly white with gray scales. Researchers seem very intrigued about human life and behavior, but aren't that kind towards humans as a whole. These specifically have telekinesis, foresight, as well as no real desire to mate with any other species besides other Researchers.

The most important tribe; a Warrior's job is to eradicate the Corruptors. While they can be either red or yellow. Depending on their mood, they can be either docile or protective towards humans. They seem to have sword-like weapons in which the "blade" is whatever magic they chose to use at a certain time.

While the other tribes can have whatever power they wish, Healers only have a choice of two. The blue creatures either have healing powers, or invincibility. Their job is undoubtedly the second most important; to heal other Ghouls, no matter the tribe. Their powers do impact humans, but not as much as their own.

The Watchers are commonly a mix of purple and black or gray. Their job is to protect children, though it's rare that a single creature takes care of more than one. They will chose a child seemingly at random to continuously care for and look after. It's theorized that the children came from broken homes, but it's yet to be confirmed.

The Corruptor's' job is to manipulate and turn other tribes evil like them. We aren't sure how the process works, but the final product is always noticeably different. Some of them would much rather chose to mate with other tribes to have their offspring naturally have their abilities. I'm fairly certain that though rare, not all Corruptors are evil. Not much else could be observed about their behavior.

The rest of the book was about their language, but I won't be writing it here since it's way too complicated to put in.
