"Are you sure it was the white oak stake. I didn't see him stab you with it." Rosa said as Klaus took his shirt off and turned his back to the mirror.

"Yes, I'm sure. I think I would know." He replied a angrily.

Rosa sighed, "I didn't do anything."

Klaus shook his head, "No. no, you were right. This was your fault. You caused this!" He shouted.

Rosa looked down for a moment before walking up to Klaus. "Where is it?"

He looked at her confused for a moment before sighing. "The...the back, close to the heart."

Rosa nodded, not seeing anything. "How do I..."

"Get a knife."

Rosa grimaced, but went around the house, searching for a knife. Once she finally came back she found Klaus trying to dig through his own skin. "Oh my god! What are you doing?" She asked, worried.

He turned towards her, something had changed. "He...he was here. He was you." Klaus stuttered.

Rosa slowly walked towards Klaus, "Who was here?"

"Silas." He whispered.

Rosa nodded. She went behind Klaus' back and began to cut, wincing as he screamed in pain. After a minute she grabbed a pair of pliers and started digging into him.

"This is so gross." She whined.

"Rosalina, if I die—"

"You aren't going to."

"But if I do...I don't blame you. I was upset and angry, but not at you. I love you."

Rosa looked further into the mess of blood and scrunched her face. "Yeah, yeah. You're a romantic guy. Whatever. I'm knee deep in heart right now, so it's not the time." Klaus nodded. "Is now a bad time to say I failed biology."

Klaus sighed, and winced once again in pain. "How have you not found it yet?" Klaus asked after many minutes had gone by.

Rosa continued to look around, despite feeling the urge to puke. "I'm trying, okay. But...I don't see anything."

"Just keep looking."

"Once I save your ass, I'm going to kill you." She stated before sticking the pliers back in.

Klaus screamed, "A little gentler please."

"Sorry. I've just got a lot of rage and you put a weapon in my hand."

"It's a pair of pliers." Klaus argued.

Rosa smirked, "Not in my hands." Rosa stopped when she heard her phone chime. She saw a text from Caroline and sighed. "You know, Carolines really upset."

"So."

"So...even though I'm mad at her, she's still my best friend. And she's really sad."

Klaus sighed. "I'm sorry your friend is sad. But can we have this conversation at a different time. Preferably when I'm not dying!"

"Let Tyler come back." Rosa argued.

Klaus scoffed, "What." Rosa crossed her arms and stared at Klaus. "No. Rosalina, I will do a lot for you, but not that."

Rosa looked down at her feet, "That doesn't seem like a lot to me." She pouted. Klaus shook his head. Suddenly Rosa dropped the pliers from out of her hands. "Oops."

"Rosalina...you don't understand."

"Understand what? That you can do this to me and my friends. That you don't care because making Tyler suffer is more important than me. That it will make you look weak." Klaus sighed. "Right." Rosa let out a deep breath. "Thank you." Rosa said softly.

Klaus looked at her confused. "For what?"

"For showing me that I will never matter enough to you. Thank you."

Rosa turned to walk away when Klaus shouted, "Wait!" Rosa looked at him. "It's gone...the pain. It's gone."

Rosa scoffed, "Of course it." She looked at Klaus who touched his back confused. "You're serious?" He nodded. "It just disappeared?"

Klaus had a look of realization on his face. "It's was never there. He got in my head. Silas...got inside my head." Klaus walked towards Rosa, "You took my mind off it. Rosalina, you brought me back."

Rosa stepped back, "Klaus. Great, you're not dead. I'm still mad at you. You are always going to chose your stupid revenge over me. Aren't you?"

"You...you can tell Caroline that I have a long list of priorities and Tyler Lockwood isn't exactly on the top of that list." Rosa smiled, biting her lip. "But if he thinks about coming near me I will kill him."

"Got it." Rosa said before grabbing her phone. "So, who were you on the phone with?"

Klaus shrugged, "No one important."

When Rosa woke up the next morning, she was surprised to see Klaus not next to her. She sighed and got up, getting changed into her clothes.

"Hey, Klaus. Do you have any food, I'm starving." Rosa said as she walked down the stairs. "Also, Caroline keeps texting me about—oh." She stopped when she saw Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah sitting at the table.

Klaus smiled, "Rosalina, glad you could join us."

Rosa ran her fingers over her hair and sat down next to Klaus awkwardly. "Hello, Rosalina. I'm Elijah."

"Yeah I know who you are." Rosa said bitterly. Elijah nodded, an amused smirk on his face.

Rebekah watched them before continuing to talk. "Elijah, being human means a fresh start. I can grow old and have a family and fill my days with meaning, knowing that each one matters."

Klaus suddenly laughed, "Well, that was poetic." Rosa kicked Klaus under the seat before picking off something from his plate.

"Well, if you can provide us with a more compelling reason for wanting the cure, Klaus please."

Klaus sighed, "Silas can appear as anyone. He got inside my thoughts, convinced me I was dying. He will torment me until I give him the cure."

"And in doing so he will break down the Other Side."

Suddenly Rosa's phone rang. She sighed and left the table. "Oh my god, what, Caroline?" The siblings heard Rosa yelling at her phone as they sat awkwardly. "No, I'm not going. And no you can't force me."

Klaus tried to continue to speak, but almost instantly got cut off by Rosa shouting at Caroline.

"I am not telling him and neither are you." She said. Klaus smiled sheepishly, not sure what the pair was talking about. "Seriously. That bitch seriously did that. I can get it if you want."

Rosa sighed and hung up her phone. "Everything all right, love?"

Rosa nodded, "Yup." She said. Klaus raised his eyebrows. "Caroline has an Elena problem." Klaus nodded and went back to his conversation.

Rosa wasn't paying any attention to what was happening until Klaus stood up from his chair angrily. "When you're sick and dying, and you beg for my blood, I will laugh in your face and compel you to forget me."

Klaus then stormed out of the room. "I should—I should go." She said before following after him.

Rosa walked into the room, while staring at her phone. "Hey, I said Caroline could borrow one of those fancy dresses you have since Elena stole hers." Rosa looked up to see Klaus standing in front of her with a smile. "Hi?"

"You didn't tell me that you have a prom today." He said calmly.

Rosa sighed, "Because I'm not going."

"Sure you are. I have more dresses. Don't worry." Rosa smiled. "Did that sound wrong?" She nodded.

"You can't come to prom with me. You're not in high school." Klaus frowned. "And it won't be much fun for me to go without you."

Klaus shook his head. "You are going. Even if it's without me. Caroline will be there." He sighed. "And Stefan. Please, go and have fun."

"You're not gonna let this go?" Klaus smirked. "Ugh. Fine. Bring on the dresses."

Caroline stood in a bright yellow dress and Rosa wore a dark red dress that left a trail on the floor behind her.

Klaus smiled slightly. "You look gorgeous, Rosalina."

"Thank you. Now let's go before I change my mind." Rosa said. Caroline took her friends hand and walked out of the house.

"Rosa...are you sure you want to go." Caroline asked as they rode in a limo that Klaus had insisted on getting them.

Rosa sighed, "No, but I have to. For you, and for Klaus and for me to really complete my high school career."

Caroline smiled, "No one will be mad at you...Jeremy only died a month ago. I get if you're not ready."

Rosa sighed, "I'm ready."

"Great." Caroline grabbed Rosa's hand as the limo came to a stop. There was a whole red carpet and screens that showed pictures of many of the students.

Rosa smiled slightly when she saw a picture of her and Elena on the first day of school, freshman year. They looked so alike back then.

Rosa was in a phase of her trying to be exactly like Elena. It didn't last very long until she met Vicky Donavan. Aka the worlds worst influence.

She had introduced Rosa to drinking, luckily Rosa couldn't get into the drugs, though. Rosa cut that friendship off quickly. Plus Matt didn't like his precious sister hanging out with Rosa anyway.

Another picture of Caroline and Rosa flashed on the screen. "Where did you get that picture from." The picture was taken when neither of the girls were paying attention, back at the Mikaelson hall. They were both smiling at each other.

"I had to compel a lot of people for that picture."

Rosa smiled, watching as the pictures flashed by. She was just impressed that Caroline was able to find any pictures of Rosa where she didn't look miserable, or actually had showed up to school.

Her smile faded slightly when a picture of her and Jeremy appeared. They were sitting next to each other, looking at the others sketches.

"I'm sorry...I thought it would be nice for him to be here too."

Rosa nodded, "It is nice. Thank you." Caroline smiled and continued walking into the dance. Rosa stared at the picture a little longer before it faded into a picture of Matt and Elena from freshmen year. "Ugh, gross." She said before following the blonde to the dance.

She was about to enter when Bonnie walked past her. She seemed upset. Rosa looked at Bonnie for a moment.

"Hey."

Bonnie looked up, shocked. "Rosa, you're okay."

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"

Bonnie shook her head, "Uhm...no reason. I just—I didn't expect to see you here. At prom."

Rosa shrugged. "Yeah, me neither." She looked at Bonnie who was taking a deep and heavy breath. "Are you okay?"

Bonnie nodded slightly. "Do you blame me. For not being able to bring Jeremy back?"

Rosa shook her head and watched as a picture of Bonnie and Jeremy dancing at the 60s decade dance appeared. "No, and you can't blame yourself." Bonnie nodded.

"I'm sorry." She said.

"For what?"

"Everything." Bonnie mumbled quietly.

Rosa looked at the girl confused for a moment before finally walking into the dance. When she walks in she sees Caroline and Stefan dancing.

She smiled slightly and sighed. Despite telling Klaus not to come, she kind of wished he were here. Suddenly Caroline walks away and Stefan comes over to her.

"Hey."

"Hi." Rosa said awkwardly. Rosa still hadn't really talked to Stefan since the Jeremy incident, and she definitely hadn't forgave him yet.

He put his hand out, "Wanna dance?" Rosa smiled and took his hand.

"It would be my pleasure." She said.

Stefan led Rosa out to the dance floor, and placed his hand on her back. "So, where's Klaus?"

"I told him not to come. I wanted to finish out my high school experience the same way it started. As a weird loner kid." Stefan nodded, smirking. "Plus, he's to old to even pretend he's in high school. Most people get weirded out when someone who's to old for high school, always hangs out at high school." She said nodding to Damon who was standing next to Caroline.

Stefan nodded, "True." He sighed as the conversation fell into an awkward silence. "Look, Rosa, I'm sorry. I just didn't want anyone to get hurt and Elena was upset—"

"So was I. You forced me to watch her burn my stuff and my house and my brother. She burned my memories and everything else in that house and you forced me to watch."

Stefan sighed, "I know. And I'm sorry. I really am. I just...I didn't think that would actually happen and I didn't want you or Elena to get hurt."

"Do you think she will ever turn her humanity back on?"

"Uhm..." He started. "I think we have used a lot of people to try and get her humanity back...except you. Maybe you are the key."

Rosa shook her head, "I'm not. Me and Elena are sister and we always will be, but we will never be close enough for me to bring back her humanity. That's why Jeremy was great, he's the one who brought everyone together."

Stefan nodded. Rosa watched as Caroline left the dance. "Did you just lose your ride?" Rosa nodded.

"Prom stinks. And everything smells really bad." Stefan looked at her curiously before shrugging.

Stefan looked down at his phone and sighed. "Maybe you should just go home. You don't want to be here, plus Elena is still here and Carolines gone."

Rosa looked at her friend curiously. "I guess. Thanks for dancing with me." Stefan smiled and then walked out of the room. Rosa sighed and pulled out her phone.

Rosa stood outside, waiting when Klaus pulled up in the car. "Get in, I just have to take care of something quickly." He told her.

"Klaus."

"Relax. I just need to talk to Rebekah." Rosa sighed and got into the car.

When Klaus and Rosa finally arrived at his house they see a letter sitting on the table. "What's that?"

Klaus examines the letter, seeing a big K on it. He sighs and opens it. Rosa could see that he was worried as he read the letter. "Nothing, love. Just go to bed."

Rosa sighed and did as he said. She looked back once more, "You okay?" He nodded. "Okay then. Goodnight."
