《The End》Part 39: First Time

A knock on the door. That's all it took for Klaus to speed over. He quickly opened the door and let out a breath of relief.
"Rosalina." He said. He quickly took note of her state a frowned. "I've been calling you for days. Where have you been?"
Rosa looked at Klaus, tears threatening to fall. "He's dead." She whispered. Klaus walked towards Rosa and led her inside the house. "I finally remembered the last thing I said to him." Rosa looked down at her shoes to keep herself from sobbing. "I...I told him to get out."
Klaus sat Rosa down on the couch and watched her with a concerned look. He understood how hard this could be. How hard it is to lose a sibling. But it was never like this for him. As close as he was with his siblings, it would never compare to Rosa and Jeremy. They were each others person.
"I told him to get out and then instead of going to that island to look for the cure, I stayed home. Now he's dead and I never got to say goodbye or tell him I love him or crack some stupid joke. He's gone forever and I don't know what to do."
Klaus sat down next to Rosa and hung his arm around her. "It's okay, love. You'll get through this."
Rosa shook her head, "I won't. I can't. She...she burned everything." Klaus looked at the girl curiously. "I tried, but there's nothing left. I went back and tried to save stuff, but there was nothing to save."
"I can replace everything you lost." Klaus told her calmly.
Rosa once again shook her head, finally letting a few tears escape. "Everything burned. Everything I had from my mom and dad...and Jenna." Klaus sighed. "And the dress you gave me."
He looked at her, his lips pressed together. "Maybe...maybe this is a good thing. You can finally have a chance to move on."
"I don't want to move on. I just want my brother back!" She cried. Rosa stood up and walked away from the couch, Klaus following her. "I can't do this without him."
"Do what?" Klaus asked.
"Live!" She shouted. "I can't live without him. And I don't want to try."
Klaus watched Rosa with concern. He wasn't good at this. He didn't know what to do. "Do you want me to call Caroline?" He asked softly. Rosa shook her head. He sighed. "What about Stefan?"
"No." She told him. "I don't want to see any of them."
Klaus nodded, "Rosalina, where have you been since Jeremy died?" Rosa shrugged. "Have you been killing?"
She shook her head. "Haven't been able to get much down lately." Klaus nodded. "I should have been there." She said to softly for anyone to hear if they weren't paying attention. But Klaus was.
"You couldn't have known."
"Jeremy's human. I'm not. Even if he was a hunter, he was still human. He could have been killed by endless things. I'm his big sister, I should have been there to protect him." Klaus wasn't sure what to say.

He wanted to comfort her, but he didn't know how. A dying sibling wasn't his strong suit, considering they didn't die. Just got stuck in coffins that he put them in.
"He's always protected me. He's always been my little brother, but he's always protected me. I should have been there to protect him." She shook her head. "I should have protected him and my house. It's all gone."
Klaus walked closer to Rosa as she cried. Shaking her head in disbelief. "I know it feels like the end of the world right now, but it gets better."
Rosa scoffed, "You don't get it. Me and Elena won't be family anymore. When she was crying the other night she kept complaining about having nothing left and she's right. I don't know how to be her sister without Jeremy being our brother. Not like it matters because she's been running around with her humanity."
Klaus sighed. "Let's do something. You need to take your mind off of it."
She shook her head. "I think I just need time." Rosa sighed. "Do you think...do you think I should turn off my humanity?"
What was he supposed to say. Klaus took a deep breath. "No. I think you should talk to your friends...and to me. To let the people who love you do their job." Rosa nodded. "But I won't stop you."
A soft smile formed on her lips. "I love you." Her voice was quiet. "I need you to help me."
Klaus slowly leaned closer to Rosa, kissing her lips softly. Rosa melted into the kiss and Klaus placed the hand on the back of her head.
Rosa pulled away and gasped. "My hair." She said. Klaus looked at her confused. "I want to cut my hair."
"Uhm...okay?"
Rosa smiled. "Jeremy always told me that me and Elena would look less alike if I cut my hair. I'm going to do it." She stood up and ran to the door. "Bye!"
Klaus sighed. He knew Rosa wasn't okay, but he didn't know what to do.
"She's cute." Klaus turns around to see Hayley. He rolls his eyes.
"What?"
Hayley shrugs. "Don't loose her." Klaus watches confused as Hayley walks away.
—
Rosa looked in the mirror. She loved her hair, but she couldn't bring herself to smile. Instead she thought of what Jeremy would say.
He would tell her that it looks like it was chopped off with a knife. Then he would laugh, apologize and tell her she looked great. That did make her smile for a split second before remembering that he would never be able to say it.
Rosa liked it though. It was layered and wavy. It went down past her shoulders, but it was definitely a few inches shorter.
She drove back to Klaus's house. She took a deep breath and knocked. Only this time, no one came. Rosa slowly opened to door.
"Klaus?" She called out.
She continued to walk around the house until she heard voices. She followed the voices until she froze. She saw Klaus and Hayley sitting opposite each other at his table. Klaus was smiling.

Hayley was the first to look up. She cleared her throat and tilted her head in Rosa's direction. Klaus looked up. He smiled. "Rosalina." He breathed out. "You look stunning."
Rosa didn't respond. Instead she looked at Hayley. "Why is she here?"
"Oh, she had information on Katerina." Rosa nodded suspiciously. "Makes her valuable."
Rosa sighed and ran a hand through her newly cut hair. "How much longer are you going to be. I need to talk to you."
"Oh go ahead. I'll just be looking around." Hayley said as she stood up and walked out of the room.
Rosa frowned. "She's staying here?" Klaus didn't have to tell her. She could figure that part out. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want to bring up Katherine." Rosa nodded.
Suddenly her phone started to ring. Rosa looked at it and sighed before shutting it off. Klaus smirked. "It's just Stefan. He needs help with Elena."
"You're not going to help?" Klaus asked. Rosa shook her head. Klaus watched her carefully and smiled. "I do really love your new hair."
Rosa touched her hair softly and frowned.
"What? Do you not like it?" He asked, concerned.
She sighed. "I was thinking about what Jeremy would have said. He would have made fun of me." Klaus nodded, not even attempting to understand the relationship Rosa had with her brother. "And it made me realize that he's never going to make fun of me again."
That, Klaus understood. Knowing that you will never see someone you care about ever again. Klaus's phone now rang. "It's Rebekah. I'll be back in a moment."
Rosa nodded. She waited for about 30 seconds before wandering off. She made her way into Klaus's painting room.
"Oh, sorry." She said when she saw Hayley looking around.
She smiled, "That's okay." Rosa slowly walked inside and looked at the paintings. "So, what's your deal with Klaus?"
Difficult question. Rosa sighed, "Well...I hated him for a while, but he wouldn't leave me alone. He was totally in love with me." Rosa smiled remembering how she wouldn't give Klaus as much as a sentence. Hayley smiled slightly. "Then I gave him a chance and he was kind of amazing. In the kind of way that he tries to kill my family and I try to kill him and his family."
"Sounds...fun."
"I love him." Rosa tells her. Hayley nods and continues to walk around.
She picks up a stack of papers and looks over at Rosa. "He definitely loves you. He's got like a billion drawings of you." Rosa couldn't help the blush that formed on her face. "I know you aren't supposed to like me, right?"
Rosa nodded. "Best friend code."
"Well, where's your best friend right now?" Rosa sighed. The last text she had gotten from Caroline was that Elena was throwing a prying at Stefan's house and she was invited.
"Caroline is a great friend. I'm the bad one. I'm avoiding her." Hayley shrugged.
She put down the papers and walked a little closer to Rosa, still looking around at the paintings. "I get what it's like to lose people. I also know that you shouldn't be alone, no matter how much you might want to be. She should get that too."
Rosa sighed. "I don't hate you. You've given me the best talk since Jeremy...died." Rosa frowned. "Did you sleep with Tyler. Tell me the truth because I need to know if I'm allowed to like you."
Hayley paused. She hesitated before shaking her head.
"Okay. Good. Friends?"
"Friends." Rosa smiled. "As your friend. Please have sec with Klaus. I can't stand the way he stares at you and talks about you." Rosa laughed, her face going red.
Rosa slowly walked out of the painting room and wandered the halls. "Rosalina. I was looking for you."
Rosa walked up to him and kissed him passionately. "Let's have sex." She said.
Klaus looked at her and smiled. Rosa's grin matched his. He continued their kiss and pushed her against the wall with his vamp speed.
They continued this until they made it into Klaus's bedroom. Rosa helped pull Klaus's shirt over his head. He pushed her down onto the bed.
Quickly he pulled Rosa's shirt off and kissed her softly. "Are you sure?" He asked.
Rosa took a deep breath, smiled and nodded. "I love you." Klaus smiled and kissed her again.
—
Rosa's phone buzzed against the table. Hayley looked around the room before walking over to it. "Holy crap, this girl has needy friends." She muttered as she looked at all the notifications.
The latest one saying:
Elena has gone completely insane. I know you're grieving, but we need you're help. And I need to know if you're okay. So please answer this, Rosa. Please.
Hayley shut the phone and sighed. She felt bad for Rosa. To afraid to talk to any of her friends for some reason that she couldn't think of.
—
Klaus watched as Rosa slept next to him. She looked so peaceful. He had to imagine that she hasn't sleep like this at least since Jeremy died.
He stroked her hair and left another soft kiss on the top of her head. "Don't be all cheesy and romantic." Rosa mumbled, keeping her eyes closed.
Klaus chuckled softly. "I can't help it. You're so beautiful."
Rosa smiled and looked up at Klaus. "You still love me?" She asked.
"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?"
Rosa's face reddened, "Well...it was my first time." She said quickly and quietly.
Klaus smiled, "I love you more than anything in the world."

Hello everybody, my name is Spotacus. English is my first language, but that does not mean I do not make mistakes. Please let me know if you see any. I am going to post the first few chapters of a story I have been fooling around with. The main character is a bit OP, but completely clueless about his power. This is a fantasy type story, and I may have missed some of the tags. Description Toric thought he was a pretty normal kid, with a normal and boring backstory, but he was wrong. Follow his adventures as he learns the truth about his history, and discovers exactly how very far he has to go in order to embrace his destiny. Life will never be the same after the arrogance of a mage gives Toric an ability that was lost in distant history. Lost for a reason.
