"Caroline. Hey." Rosa said as she walked up to the blonde. "I've been calling you like crazy."

Caroline looked down at her phone, "Must have had it turned off." Rosa nodded, knowing that was a lie. "So, what's up?"

"I needed a place to stay and you weren't answering your phone...so I'm staying with Klaus." She muttered quietly.

"What?" Caroline asked, greatly confused. "You seriously couldn't just wait for a little while?"

"Not really. Jeremy wanted to kill me, so I needed to leave." Caroline seemed like she was about to argue something else, but stopped herself. Which was definitely strange for her. "We kissed." Rosa said softly.

Instead of the dramatic and excited reaction Rosa thought she would receive, Caroline frowned. She held the side of her dress nervously and looked around. Instead of sadness she looked guilty. She had done something, or had planned on doing something.

"You were right about giving him a second chance. I...I think maybe I could make it work." Rosa continued to talk to her friend, who's expression only seemed to become worse. "What's wrong?"

Caroline snapped back into focus. "Nothing. I'm happy for you, Rosa. And just remember, if the whole Klaus thing doesn't work out, you can always stay at my place." Rosa nodded and watched as Caroline did her best to run away in the heels she was wearing.

"Okay..." Rosa muttered to herself as she walked off.

"You know I thought I'd be happier watching Klaus get led away to his slaughter, but for some reason I can't help but feel kind of guilty." Rosa heard Stefan say as she walked into his house.

"Yeah, you and me both. All day I've been trying to remind myself of all of the horrible things he's done...but all I can think about is Rosa." She then heard Caroline's voice.

Rosa walked further into the house where she found Stefan and Caroline sitting on the couches. "So that's what's going on. You guys are trying to kill Klaus?"

Stefan and Caroline stood up, looking at Rosa. "No, we were trying to save him." Stefan said. "And we had a plan."

"A plan that none of you could tell me?" Rosa asked, not believing them.

Caroline sighed, "We were going to put him in Rebekah's body...who's daggered." Rosa looked at her friends in shock.

She didn't know what to think. Caroline had been pushing Rosa to try to have a relationship with Klaus and when she finally does, Caroline's one of the main people trying to get rid of him.

But instead of saying this, Rosa smiled. "Good idea." She tells them. Caroline and Stefan look at each other confused. "That was the mission, to finally kill Klaus Mikaelson, but I have to warn you. I don't think it will be that easy."

Rosa turned around and walks out the door, making sure to slam it on the way out.

"Klaus, please call me back. I've heard a bunch of what's happening, but I need the whole story. Plus I totally just lost all my friends. So, answer your phone." Rosa sighed as she hung up the phone.

The next day Rosa stands next to her sister at the memorial for Carol Lockwood. Rosa wasn't paying much attention. She watched as Tyler stormed out of the auditorium.

She didn't blame him either. Losing a parent is hard. She listened to Caroline trying to understand him. It's fair. Caroline's lost her dad, but it's not the same for everyone.

Rosa wasn't brought back until she saw Elena now walking out. She turned to Bonnie who shrugged.

As soon as the assembly ends Rosa rushes out of the auditorium. She was obviously trying to avoid Caroline. She took note of Caroline's distraction, seeing her talking on her phone and continued to walk away faster.

"Rosa!" She heard Caroline call out.

Rosa sighed. "What?"

"Can we talk?"

"Sure." She said.

Caroline looked at her friend, a guilty expression. "Where's Klaus?"

Rosa shrugged. "No clue. I went home cause Jeremy went to the lake house." Caroline nodded. "He killed her, didn't he?"

Caroline looked at her friend. Sadness was the only expression she could show. "We...we think that's what happened." Rosa nodded. "Rosa I'm sorry." Caroline said softly.

Rosa walked closer to Caroline, the two wrapping each other in a hug. "I'm such an idiot. I'm sorry." Rosa cried into her friends shoulder.

"You aren't an idiot. Klaus is. And you have nothing to be sorry for. I'm sorry. I didn't even consider your feelings. I just...I hate him."

The two looked at each other and sighed. "What has happened to our lives?"

Caroline shook her head. "Stefan Salvatore came to mystic falls." Rosa nodded. "He's sorry by the way."

"I know. He's called me like a billion times."

Suddenly Caroline's phone began to ring. She picked it up. "I'm only ready to talk if you're ready to rejoin civilization." Rosa didn't bother to listen to the conversation. "Come on." She said to Rosa. "We're going to go kill Rebekah."

Rosa walked down the dark school hallway. She was on the lookout for Rebekah. She wasn't sure why they split up, though. It's like a dumb horror movie thing to do.

She heard and noise and quickly turned around. She slowly walked closer to the lockers, searching for blond hair. She didn't really care if it was Rebekah's or Caroline's.

Suddenly she felt a bang to the back of her head. "Miss me?" She heard Rebekah's voice as she fell to the ground.

When Rosa woke up she was in a chair next to Caroline and opposite Elena. "That bitch." Rosa muttered under her breath.

Only seconds later, Rebekah marched into the library where Rosa realized she was sitting. Stefan by her side.

"Stefan." Elena said as she got up to make her way over to him.

"Did I say you could move?" Elena sits back down hesitantly.

Rosa then stand up. "This is ridiculous." She said and started to walk towards Rebekah.

"I'll kill you. All of you, if you don't sit." She told the girl angrily.

Rosa smirked. "Do that. I wonder how long Klaus will let you roam dagger free." Rebekah looked taken aback.

The girls stared at each other for a moment before Rebekah began to smile. "I see you're using my brothers affections to your advantage." She noted. "Well let you tell me something. A lover has never come between me and my brother. He's killed many of my great love's, so I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I did the same to him. Now sit down!" She shouted.

Rosa did as the blond said and sighed. "He didn't miss you." Rosa said as she walked back to her seat.

Rebekah looked at Rosa for a moment before turning to the rest of the group. "Class is in session. You've all been compelled; you know the rules. Answer my questions honestly, no disobedience, no one leaves. April, my sweet, take notes. This is how you get answers in this town. Let's start with a little quiz. In the year 1114, my brother learnt, thanks to yours truly, about a brotherhood of vampire hunters with tattoos that grew with each kill. These tattoos revealed what, Elena?"

"A map." Elena answered.

"Which led to...? Caroline?"

"A cure for vampirism." Caroline answered.

Rebekah smiled. "Perfect, so we're all caught up. Stefan Salvatore, the last time we saw each other, you had a vampire hunter, but in order to decode the map, you needed the location of the hunters sword, which you got out of me using some very dirty tricks. Assuming you found the sword, you also found the cure, and yet, you're all still vampires, which means something went wrong." Rebekah looked over at April who was carefully writing on a piece of paper. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, you asked me to take notes."

Rosa snickered slightly causing Rebekah to glare at her before turning back to April. "I wasn't being literal, darling. But now that you mention it...a flow chart would be nice, which means index cards and push-pins. Go, fetch."

Rebekah looked over at Rosa and smirked. Rosa rolled her eyes, but stopped when Stefan, Elena and Caroline were staring at her.

Stefan shook his head at Rosa and turned to Rebekah. "You're wasting your time. We don't know anything."

"So you just gave up? I thought you would do anything to save Elena? Even if it meant taking the cure yourself, so you could grow old and die with her?"

Elena looked at Stefan shocked. Rosa leaned on her arm, covering her smile with her hand. Rosa hated being in awkward situations, but loved watching it happen to other people.

"Why do you look so surprised?" She asks Elena. No one answers. "I'm missing something. What is it?"

Everyone looked at each other until Caroline blurted out, "They broke up, okay?" Rebekah smiled. "Now let us go."

"Broke up? Wait, I'm confused. I thought Elena was your epic love, Stefan?" Rebekah sat down in the chair and looked at Stefan. "I asked you what happened. You have to tell me."

Everyone looked at Stefan and he sighed. "She slept with Damon."

Rosa looked at Elena in shock. She knew that Damon and Elena were close and she saw them kiss but she didn't think they would sleep together so soon.

Caroline sunk in to her seat and looked down at the table. Rosa looked at Caroline to Elena and sighed.

After a while, Rosa got tired of listening. She pulled out her phone and looked at all her messages. She found it interesting how she never used to get any texts or calls or anything. Now she had missed calls from Stefan who was trying to apologize, calls from Klaus who she was not talking too. She had a missed call from Jeremy while she unconscious. She then looked at the text he sent.

Klaus is here.

Rosa looked up about to tell Caroline and the others when she heard Elena talking. ""I didn't sleep with Damon because of the sire bond. I slept with Damon because I'm in love with him."

Rosa looked at Stefan who was obviously hurt. Rosa understood the pain of losing something of someone to your sibling.

"What does any of this have to do with the stupid cure?" Caroline asked, frustrated. Trying to get out of this conversation.

"You're right. We got off point. Stefan, how do I find the cure? Unless you'd rather talk about Damon and Elena all day."

Rosa rolled her eyes. "Do you have to be such a bi—"

"There's a professor. He knows where the cure is." Stefan said cutting Rosa off.

Rebekah smirked at Rosa. "Thank you. And, uh, where so I find this professor?"

"Still glued to your seats? Ahh, it's think with tension in here. Let's spice things up a bit. Elena, truth or dare?"

Rosa scoffed and leaned back in her seat. Stefan looked at Rebekah, "We're done playing your stupid games, Rebekah."

"Truth or dare, Elena. You're compelled. Answer."

"Dare."

Rosa gave her sister a co fused look. When does Elena ever pick dare. "I dare you tell Stefan the truth about Damon."

"Seriously?" Caroline said.

Rosa scoffed, "Do you seriously have nothing better to do with your pathetic little life that you have to get stupid teen gossip out of us?"

Rebekah looked at Rosa annoyed. "Being with Damon makes me happy." Elena said.

"Makes you happy? Clowns make you happy, Elena. Dig deeper."

Elena looked at Rosa who shook her head. "When I'm with him...if feels unpredictable, like...like I'm free."

Rebekah smirked. "And how do you feel when you're with Stefan?" She asked.

"Stop." Caroline interjected.

"She can't. She's compelled."

Hesitantly Elena began to speak. "Lately, I feel like I'm a project, like I'm a problem that needs to be fixed. I think I make him sad, and I can't be with someone like that, because when he looks at me, all he sees is a broken toy."

Rosa sighed and looked at Stefan. She had to give him credit. He was being very Stefan about the whole situation.

"Do you still love Stefan?"

Rosa crossed her fingers hoping for a good answer. "Yes." She smiled at Stefan slightly.

"Are you in love with Stefan?"

Everyone watched Elena carefully. "No."
