You where walking around in the highschool desperately trying to find the library when you tripped and fell into someone "oh sorry" the voice said to you "oh its okay" you say as you look up to find a boy with brown hair and clout goggles on his head 'he looks familiar' you think "hey do I know you?" You ask him "no I don't think so but do you wanna change that?" He says back smiling and holding his hand for you to shake.you take it smiling and say "y/n" "George" he says back

"Really? Agian?" Your friend f/n (friends name) said to you over the phone "yeah I'm really sorry but I have to record today I don't have any other time this week" you sadly told him "okay but you seriously need to tell him soon" he said back to you sounding annoyed "finneeeee I'll tell him tommrow,oh wait I have to go now,bye" "bye bitch"

You and George just got done recording a new Minecraft video and where just messing around in the coded world,dream left and before he did he left a group of signs for George to read,You got curious and started to walk over to read the signs

As you read that George came up to you and hit you from behind "what are you reading?" He said laughing but then realized what the signs said "do you really like me George?" You asked him "uhm yeah" he responded to you sadly "it's fine if you wanna stay friends"he told you "George it's fine I like you too" you said laughing "wanna go on a date this Saturday?" He asked you "yeah why not"

The Queen's Guard is what I'm calling a black powder fantasy story: it's set in a loose equivalent of the early 18th century (plus or minus a few pieces I decided I wanted or didn't want). Magic exists, but not in a spell-slinging sort of way: it's Earth-shaking undertakings or minor enchantments forged in by master craftsmen, the grand working of a secretive cabal or a slight nudge to the course of a blow. I, the eternal optimist, have a full trilogy in mind. The first book is The Prince's Arquebusier, hence the cover and the title disagreeing! This is my shot at 2021's NaNoWriMo and RR Writathon! I've hitherto been terrible at writing long-form fiction, so this is an effort to break out of that by having some accountability in being supposed to post chapters regularly. Here's hoping it works! I have an outline, but not too much detail. I'll do my best to avoid continuity errors, doing anything glaringly stupid, or otherwise fluffing my lines, but I can't make any promises on that. He is trying to survive, and he is trying to give himself and those he deems himself responsible for a seat at the table of the"goodly", the "civilized" races. He is trying to create a secure home for his people, to arrange beneficial trade agreements, explore ancient ruins, decipher ancient runes, push the boundaries of magic to create a better life for everyone around him, to learn about the history of the world and the multiverse, and ultimately attempt to become powerful enough to take on a being that even the gods themselves fear. This is my first story and it blends many different elements and styles. It's a bit darker than most of what I have read on Royal Road, but even with that, I hope you give it a try, and I hope you like it!

Perhaps. =====Summary Over===== Yo, if you are reading this then (like me) you like to read pretty much anything, including some guy's random rambles. Well you could read this story if you want but what's the fun in that really? I'm pretty much writing this (my first) story on a whim so it is certainly not perfect nor is it likely to be good (but what do I know maybe I'm secretly talented). It also might have tons of tons of errors beacuse I'm dumb and sometimes it's just so boring to proof read and you just wanna send a chapter out y'know.
