The door opened, Lloyd and Aria stood at the door watching the scene in front of them. Cole and Kai were pinning down Ren who was keeping a game controller out of their reach while Jay and Zane ninja were chasing after Len who had another controller.

"oh boys" Aria called

All the boys in the room stopped what they were doing and looked at her.

"oh hey guys" Kai said casually "...so how was the mission?"

Aria looked annoyed and kicked both Cole and Kai "who said you could be so aggressive with my baby"

"mommy they were so mean to me" Ren whined and hugging Aria, he looked at Cole and Kai with a smug grin

"there there it's ok" Aria rubbed his head

Kai glared at him "you little-"

"mommy" Len ran over and hugged Aria as well

"...dad's home too" Lloyd says from the door

Len and Ren were 7 years old now, 3 years have gone by since they were born, the aging tea from Lloyd and Aria's blood causes them to grow faster then normal kids. They both had blonde hair, Ren was the troublemaker with purple eyes while Len was a gentler and sweet kid with green eyes.

Ren had an innocent look back on his face when Aria moved away from the hug and looked at the twins "are you two ok, did your mean uncles hurt you?"

"we're ok mommy" Len smiled

"Mommy Uncle Kai hit me" Ren's eyes watered a bit

"oh come on" Kai complained

"that little shit can act" Cole grumbled

"oh did he now?" Aria smiled

"...oh shit" Kai said, knowing exactly what that smile meant

"Ok that's enough" Lloyd says walking over

"hi dad" the twins greeted happily

"Ren you know better then to lie to your mother, you know how overprotective she is" Lloyd lectured "and stop giving your uncle's such a hard time while we're gone, they take good care of you when your mom and I go to work, show some respect"

"yes dad" Len smiles

"yeah whatever" Ren grumbled

"Ren" Aria says and he looks at her, "don't talk that way to your father, now apologies"

"yes mother" Ren sighs and looks at Lloyd "I'm sorry dad, I'll be nicer to our uncles"

"good boy" Lloyd pats his head and Ren's face gets red in embarrassment

"daaad I'm not a dog" Ren whines

"oh so your mother can do that but not me" Lloyd laughs

Ren crossed his arms and Len laughs

After the kids are in bed the ninja all stand on the roof of the monastery together looking up at the stars.

"even after all this time here we are" Kai says "back where it all began"

"And it's where it'll all end as well" Aria adds

"Do you guys think sensei would be proud?" Lloyd asks looking at the sky

"I'm sure he would be proud of all of us" Cole replies patting Lloyd's back

Aria lays her head on Lloyd's shoulder

"And I'm sure he's still watching over us" Jay smiles "like he always does"

"What do you think awaits us in the future?" Zane questions

"Let's not worry about it" Lloyd tells him as he places his hand over Aria's

"Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is yet to come, all we need to focus on is right now" Aria quoted from sensei Wu, changing it a bit

"You said it" Kai smiled

Lloyd looks at everyone "no matter what tomorrow brings, we're always going to be ninja, you're all my family"

"And family sticks together" Cole says

"Now and always" Jay smiles

"No matter what lies ahead, we'll face it together" Cole declares

Aria looks up at the stars again "and who knows, maybe in another time, our journey together is just beginning"
