It's been 2 months since the ninja have been home, everyone at the Monastery lost touch with them about a month ago. Since Aria was pregnant she and Nya couldn't go looking for them. One night the monastery was awoken by the cries of babies.
Nya went into Aria's room "...how did you"
"I'm an Oni don't question it" Aria replied
Nya smiled "so can I hold one? please"
"of course" Aria laughed and handed one of the boys to Nya
"Which one is this?" Nya questions
"That is Len, he came out after his brother" Aria replied "he looks more like Lloyd, Ren's hair has silver ends, see"
Nya looked at Ren's hair "oh yeah I see it, not very visible though"
"I wish Lloyd was here" Aria said sadly
"Well now that the twins are born we can head out to look for the ninja" Nya told her "for now get some rest"
Nya handed Ren back to Aria
"thanks Nya" Aria smiled
"Anytime" Nya smiled before going back to bed
Aria laid next to her boys "don't worry, I'm going to find daddy" she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Butcher doesn't really understand this talk of "stats", "skills" and "classes", though, and the deeper her digs, the stranger things become. Because even as Butcher changes, he realizes that the world around him is also changing in ways that only he can see, but which could have terrifying consequences for the whole planet. However this one seemed to be, one which would soon be interrupted by a new contagion that would affect every creature in Corulant.

Summary: This is the story about the life of a "human" amidst a world that only appears to be earth at first glance. Long ago the face of this world resembled the typical tales of yore; of knights and fairies, swords and magic, however such an era has come and gone. Even the world of fantasy has progressed steadily into the modern epoch filled with the wonders of science and technology! In the ancient times a certain crisis had occured that lead to the quick decline of various magical species. Due to their low population and general incompatibility with the other races they could not crossbreed to save their numbers. Left with no other choice the major races of the world gathered together in an attempt to change the fate of this dying world. Their only hope was a special 'world-tier' magic known as 'the dusk of harmony'. The result of this magic would dissolve every race into their purest essences known as 'aspect' and instill them within the human population. The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too. These Pures are often times exceptionally talented and seen as near deities. This is the story of a perculiar boy who is born with the soul of a stranger from the world known as 'Earth'. With the memories and soul of a human, he too is a rare Pure; a pure human. --- This project literally has no purpose and is being written because I felt like it. There isn't any semblance of a solid direction nor have I thought about any characters aside from the main character and a few auxiliary cast. I aim to intially release one chapter a week as I build my confidence and the story. When I get to a point where I am able to churn out a chapter regularly on the same day and time per week, then I will aim to eventually get to 2 chapters a week and then to 1 every other day. I hope I can learn to tell my stories well and put something up that's enjoyable.
