Now in better condition, Faith tells the story of how the Oni suddenly returned to the First Realm, and the Dragon Hunters were unable to fight back, forcing Faith and Firstbourne to flee to Ninjago. Wu and Misako try encouraging Faith that it was best for her to flee than fight.

Moments later, the Ninja return, informing Wu that Cole is gone and the Realm Crystal's destruction didn't stop the Oni. Garmadon then arrives, telling Wu to use the Golden Master's armor to stop the Oni. Nya proposes that Kai uses his element to reforge the Golden Weapons, which he heads inside to do.

The army of Oni are marching to the Monastery.

"-and that is all of them" The Omega finished explaining the different ways to unlock an Oni's powers

"Uncle Omega are you a dragon Oni too?" Aria questions

"sadly no, only my brother inherited my fathers dragon side" the Omega replied

"do Oni's always inherit their power from their parents?" Aria asks

"they can also gain their own powers, like how the first spinjitzu master purified his and became creation instead of destruction" the Omega explained

"interesting" Aria mumbled

"we approach, prepare for battle!" The Omega shouts

Aria looks around before disappearing into the shadows

Kai finishes the golden weapons, after distributing them the monks warn of the Oni's arrival at the monastery. The Ninja, Wu, Faith, and Lord Garmadon unite to hold off The Omega's Oni legions. A battle begins outside the monastery, with the Oni steadily overwhelming the Ninja and their allies until Cole returns in the Earth Driller. Overjoyed by his return, the Ninja gain a second wind and continue the battle.

To fight The Omega, Garmadon embraces his full Oni side and takes him on, though he's still overpowered

"You are Oni" the Omega whacks Garmadon away "But only in form. In your heart, I sense uncertainty and doubt" He strikes the staff at him, flying him back up the steps. "Part of you longs to understand these pitiful beings" Garmadon is down. The Oni walks up to Garmadon "To be one of them. Your hopes weaken you" He whacks Garmadon again. Garmadon loses his Oni form, and lies on the steps, weakened.

"Father!" Lloyd runs up to Garmadon. The Omega throws his power at him. It hits him against the monastery doors. A dark blast is thrown at the Omega, he yells in pain. Aria jumped down in front of Garmadon

"sorry Uncle, but I'm famous for my fake betrayals" Aria looked over at the ninja "sorry if I scared you boys"

"I didn't doubt you for a second" Lloyd stood up

Aria looked around at all the Oni "Fall back! Everyone, fall back now!"

The Ninja, Faith, and Master Wu run back to the monastery.

Nya kicks an Oni before leaving "Copy that!"

Aria and Lloyd run into the monastery, dragging Garmadon. The Ninja close the doors on the approaching Oni. Lloyd drags the barricade for the door. Cole uses his Lava Arm to put up the barricade on the door. The door rattles, under the banging of the Oni. Faith and P.I.X.A.L. take up a stance in front of the citizens.

"that's not going to last forever" Cole says

Cole's last word echoes in Jay's mind as he glances at Nya "Nya" he turns to her and takes off his hood "I have to ask you something important"

"What? Now?" Nya questions

Nya throws off her hood

"Yes, now" Jay gets down on one knee, puts his nunchucks on the ground, inhales slowly, and starts talking rapidly. The rest of the Ninja and Master Wu turn to look at him

"Nya, you make me so happy everyday" Jay says, Nya shakes her head and stares at Jay, confused "When we're not together, I miss you so much that it feels like part of me is missing" Pulls out the token, and splits it in half, holding one half out to her "Will you be my Yang?"

Nya asps, taking the token from Jay.

Cole comes up behind Nya "Now you're asking?!"

Kai joins Cole "We seriously need to talk about your sense of timing, Jay!"

"No" Aria says "for all we know there may not be another time"

Nya looks at Jay, and throws her spear away "Yes!" she jumps into Jay's arms and hugs him "Of course! Yes, yes, yes!"

The doors and the barricade slowly breaks down. Jay picks up his nunchucks.

"Nya, Jay, it's been fun, guys" Cole says

Zane nods "It has been an honor"

"I never realized how lucky I was" Aria says

The ninja look at her

"I lost my mother when i was little and I was completely against staying with Wu when he brought me here. In the beginning, I remember being scared, wondering if i would even get my powers.

But after I got them I wanted nothing to do with them, darkness and destruction... I was a ninja, i was supposed to be good. Eventually I embraced my dark powers and trained under a master. I still wasn't sure what I was doing, but I started living the destruction my powers caused, the darkness was consuming me

But I never fell victim to it because I had all of you, you all reminded me that I was a ninja. No matter what my powers of destruction were used for good. You guys stood by my side and made me realize that it wasn't my powers that defined me, it was me" Aria started crying

The ninja all smiled

"Don't cry" Cole said patting her head

Lloyd held her hand "We're all here Aria"

"Yeah and we're gonna go out with a bang" Jay tried to cheer her up

Aria looked at the door "No we won't, cause matter what I won't let them win, I will protect all of you and all of Ninjago! This is my home and nobody's going to take it from me!"

Everyone gasped as Aria's eyes glowed gold. Golden light surrounded her.

"What's happening?" Kai asks

"I never thought I'd see it" Wu said surprised

"What?" Nya asks

"Aria's powers are purifying" Garmadon explained

"just like our fathers" Wu smiled

Aria looks down at herself "Ah!"

"Aria has become a golden master" Wu smiles "just like Lloyd"

"What's going on?! I don't understand" Aria panicked

Lloyd hugged Aria "calm down, you've proven light can overcome darkness, the goodness in your heart overcame the darkness in your blood"

Darkness climbs in over the walls of the monastery.

"Alright let's kick some butt!" Aria shouts "...butt... did my powers put a censor on me! let me curse!"

Kai laughed "Alright let's give 'em—"

"A tornado!" Lloyd shouts

"Yeah! Let's give 'em a tornado!" Kai starts to run, comes back, and then looks at Lloyd "Uh—wait, what?"

"What's the opposite of destruction? Creation!" Lloyd points to the Pilot Episodes painting "Don't you get it? Creation—the Tornado of Creation! It's the one thing that can overcome darkness and defeat the Oni—the power of Creation! But all of us this time, or it won't work"

"How do you know?" Jay questions

"Yeah. It was a miracle it worked the first time!" Kai shouted

"All of us together, it's gotta work" Lloyd says "we got nothing to lose"

"I love crazy ideas. Let's do it!" Aria says happily

Jay holds out his hand to Nya "We're one now, Nya. Care to join?" She takes his hand

"It has to be all of us" Lloyd looks at Garmadon

Garmadon crossed his arms "I am not one of you"

"No, but you're as much a part of the history of Ninjago as the rest of us" Aria says "you were once a great sensei and my master"

Garmadon walks away, leaving Lloyd in surprise. The Oni break down the doors. They step into the monastery.

"Here goes nothing!" Cole shouts

"Ninja, GOO!!" They all spin.

Garmadon watches the Ninjas' Spinjitzu as the Oni march in. He sees the darkness cover up Lloyd in the Sons of Garmadon painting, and he looks back at the Oni. He does Spinjitzu. Everyone's Spinjitzu tornadoes merge into one, forming the Tornado of Creation. It creates a light and explodes.

Lloyd wakes up and gasps, he finds himself in spacious grasslands.

"Lloyd"

He looks over to see Aria, he helps her up "Are you ok?"

"yeah" she replies "where are we? Are we dead?!"

They hear a roar, they look over to see the First Spinjitzu Master's dragon.

"Hello, Lloyd and Aria" they turn to see who is calling them, it was an old man that resembled the first spinjitzu master "Do you like my dragon?"

"You" Lloyd kneels "You're the First Spinjitzu Master" Aria kneels as well

"No, no, please—no kneeling" the First Spinjitzu Master holds his hands out and pulls the two up "You both have done so much for Ninjago. If anyone should kneel, it should be I"

"What is this place? What happened?" Lloyd asks

"You two have faced destruction with dignity and courage, and you responded with creation and love" the First Spinjitzu Master pets his dragon "There is no greater response"

"But... why are we here?" Aria questions

"I brought you here to say thank you for all you have done" the First Spinjitzu Master replies "Life is balance. Endings are never really endings, only new beginnings. And you have given us all a new beginning. The future is what we make of it, and you refused to let our future end in darkness" Petals surround them "Well done, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon and Aria Celestial Lord. Well done"

The First Spinjitzu Master takes of his hat, kneels, and bows to Lloyd and Aria.

"Thanks, but—well, I don't really understand any of this" Lloyd says

"Neither do I" Aria agrees "I was just a Dark Lord 5 minutes ago and now I'm a Golden Master"

"You might not understand now but you will soon... if you choose to come with me" the First Spinjitzu Master climbs onto his dragon.

"Come with you... where?" Lloyd and Aria asks

"That is a secret. But you will be happy there. Or you can return to your friends and take up your duties as ninja again" the First Spinjitzu Master

"And if I go home, will I remember this?" Lloyd and Aria pick up a petal and lets the wind carry them.

"You will think it was a dream. In time, you will forget all about it" the First Spinjitzu Master holds out his hand

Aria and Lloyd look at each other.

The darkness clears up in Ninjago City and The First Realm. The citizens of Ninjago wake up from their trance, and move around. The Golden Weapons' lights die out, de-powering them. The Ninja groan.

"Ow" Nya runs up to Jay and hugs him "We're alive" he Laughs "We're alive!"

Cole picks himself up, grunting he looks and sees Kai under a piece of the door "Kai!" He throws it off of him, and helps him up.

"Where's Lloyd and Aria?" Kai asks

They see Lloyd lying on the ground, with several parts of the doors on him.

They throw the door off Lloyd, they see he's holding Aria in his arms, they carry the two out.

"Lloyd! Aria!" they shout

"guys wake up" Kai shakes them

"they- they're not moving!" Nya shouts

Wu runs over and lifts their arms.

"You can do something, right?" Jay asks "Right?!"

"There is nothing to be done" Wu replies sadly

Nya sobs. Everyone stares at the two, saddened. Kai puts his hand on Wu's shoulder. Garmadon stares at the two and starts to back away. The two start to breathe, and cough. Everyone cheers and hugs each other.

Lloyd sat up and helped Aria sit up.

"Where am I?" Lloyd asks

"Don't you remember?" Nya questions

"Yeah. You guys had us worried there for a sec" Kai says

Aria looked around "But... the First Spinjitzu Master..."

"He was..." Lloyd looked around too

"You two must have hit your head pretty hard" Cole says helping the two stand

"Yeah, let's get you inside, huh?" Jay smiles

The Ninja walk away, chattering happily, relieved. Wu looks at Garmadon and smiles. Garmadon looks back at him, and walks away.

Wu sighs sadly "Goodbye, Brother"

The doors of the monastery open up to Master Wu, Misako, Dareth, P.I.X.A.L., Faith, Skylor, Karlof, Cyrus Borg, Gayle Gossip, The Postman, and the monks waiting. Master Wu bows.

The Ninjas each dip a hand into a paint and line up to press their hand onto the wall, creating a new painting—the symbol of destiny—for the mural. P.I.X.A.L., Skylor, and Misako join up with the Ninja to look at the mural. Skylor winks at Kai and everyone cheers.

Everyone was gathered in the castle garden for a very special day. The guests sat in white chairs while the garden was decorated in gold with green, and purple roses all around. Kai helped Lloyd fix his tie as they stood at the end of the isle.

"I'm happy you're here Kai" Lloyd said happily

"After that fight we had I'm happy you're still my brother" Kai chuckled "I'm happy for you"

"hey hey hey, we're here too" Jay said annoyed from beside Kai

Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane all stood next to Lloyd proudly as his best men. Lloyd couldn't just chose one.

"I wonder hat's taking your bride to be so long" Zane says "all the guests are here"

Lloyd chuckled "We know Aria, she always takes her time to look good"

"Hey I think you're forgetting something" Cole places a king crown on Lloyd's head "there we go"

"I can't believe I'm becoming emperor" Lloyd said

"We can, knowing royalty has perks" Kai gestures to their hero metals "given by the empress herself"

"Aria gave them to us" Zane says "as a gift"

"still a gift from the empress" Kai argued

The music started and the guest all stood up and looked at the back.

"Show time Lloyd" Jay says

First to come down the isle is Aria's bridesmaid, Nya. She was wearing a blue dress that Jay helped pick out. After she reached the end she smiled to the ninja and joined them. They all stared in awe when Aria appeared at the end of the isle.

Wu stood on Aria's right... and Garmadon stood on Aria's left. As Aria walked down the isle with the two masters, Lloyd wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Aw he's crying" Jay said

"I'm just happy" Lloyd said composing himself

Once they reached Lloyd, the two old masters stood off to the side. Lloyd held his hand out and Aria took it.

"You're beautiful" Lloyd complemented

"You know me, purple is my color" Aria said looking down at her dress

"Ladies and gentleman..."

"Are you going to be ok Kai?" Cole whispered

"yeah" Kai whispered back "I'm happy we were able to get to this point"

"we've come a long way" Zane whispered

"The kid's have grown up a lot" Jay whispers

"The two have written their own vows"

Lloyd looked at Aria "Since we were young you've been my best friend, I've long dreamed of this moment. You're more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. Their have been moments in our lives where we didn't know if we were going to make it, but we faced the challenged together with our fellow ninja and I can't be happier that they're with us today. I can't be happier that we're here right now, I can't wait for you to be my wife"

Aria smiled "Lloyd when we were kids you were always a stubborn brat to follow your father and be evil, but none of us couldn't have imagined that you became the green ninja. You've been a great leader and friend to everyone. I know that going forward you're going to be a great Emperor, and a great husband. You've made me better and I'm happy to be able to finally say that the green ninja is mine and only mine"

Lloyd's dragon bent down and dropped the rings in their hands. Lloyd and Aria pet him, they turn to each other and place the rings on each other's fingers.

"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, do you take Aria to be your wife?"

"Of course" Lloyd replied

"Aria Celestial Lord, do you take Lloyd to be your husband?"

"Hell yeah" Aria replied and everyone laughed "oh look I can curse"

Lloyd smiled and shook his head.

"Then, I now pronounce you Emperor and Empress, Husband and Wife. Green Ninja, you may now kiss your bride"

Lloyd and Aria kissed as everyone clapped.

"Jay are you crying?" Nya asked him

"My ship officially sailed" Jay cried happily

Later after the reception in the castle the ninja all gathered around together.

Lloyd put his arm around Aria's waist "So, what's next?"

"Who knows, maybe another giant snake" Cole joked

"We've all come a long way together" Kai said sadly

"And we still will" Aria assured them

"Aria's right, we're family" Lloyd smiled

"Like branches on a tree we may grow in different directions but our roots remain grounded" Zane said

"Couldn't have said it better myself" Nya said happily

"We'll always be ninja" Jay said

Lloyd smiled "hands in guys"

The ninja all put their hands together "NINJA GO!"
