Ninja are sailing the Destiny's Bounty away from Ninjago City.

"How far, Nya?" Cole asks

"We're going as fast as we can, but this ship needs some fine tuning for sure" Nya replied

Jay busily types away on the UHF, he looks around cautiously and finds himself looking at Garmadon.

Garmadon inspects the buttons "Hmm"

Jay walks to the rest of the Ninja "Am I the only one freaking out about this?"

"Why freak out? Our derange, psychotic, arch-nemesis is now our house guest" Kai answers sarcastically

"I find the term freak out inadequate and imprecise. I prefer to say I am deeply troubled" Zane says

"You just said the same thing but more confusing" Aria comments

Nya whispers nervously "Lloyd? Are you sure he can be trusted?"

"No. Of course not" Lloyd replies

Garmadon walks around inspecting the buttons

"Of course not?!" Jay shouts "That's not what you're supposed to say. You're supposed to say yes."

"What choice do we have? If Master Wu is right, and we're under attack by the Oni, then my father may be our best chance" Lloyd argues "And anyway, he doesn't have his powers back, so how much trouble can he really cause?"

Garmadon presses a button. Sails fold in and the thrusters turn off. Everyone looks at him, Garmadon walks away.

Zane looks at everyone "Did he just turn off the—"

The ship starts to plummet

"I'm going to kill him!" Aria shouts

"He shut off the engines! We're gonna crash!" Jay shouts

Zane starts for the emission switch, but Kai crashes into him, pulling him farther away from the emission switch.

"Ah! I can see the ground! It's getting really close, really fast!" Jay shouts

"oh for the love of the devil!" Aria shouts hitting the emission switch, just in time for the Destiny's Bounty to rise up into the air.

The Ninja sigh, getting back their breath.

"Hmm. That button should be labeled" Garmadon shrugs

Nya shouts in annoyance "Ugh! It is labeled! It says don't push while in motion!"

Garmadon climbs down the ladder.

"Perhaps it would be wise to accompany your father, Lloyd, to prevent further... mishaps" Zane suggests

Lloyd sighs in anger "Ugh, I can't believe I have to babysit my own father"

"Well he is your father why should we have to watch him?" Aria questions

"good point" Lloyd agrees "but you watch them"

"I will" Aria smiled

Lloyd rushes after his father.

Later Zane's voice is heard on the speakers "All hands to the bridge"

The ninja all head to the bridge.

"Ahem" Garmadon got their attention "The Oni entered this realm through a portal or rift between our world and theirs. There are only one or two ways this is possible. And, I'm willing to wager, it would've been through the Realm Crystal. To stop this darkness from spreading, the crystal must be destroyed"

Zane looks up on information about the Realm Crystal, typing faster and faster "The Realm Crystal is currently housed in the new high-security vault, below Borg Tower"

"That's smack in the middle of Ninjago City!" Nya shouts

"Uh, we just escaped from there, remember? It's engulfed in a giant, black cloud of destruction, and now you're asking us to turn around and go back?" Jay questioned

"I asked nothing. I am telling you that if you wish to stop the darkness, the crystal must be destroyed" Garmadon said

"And I'm telling you, forget it. Just one of those black cloud tentacle things touched my foot for a second, and nearly froze me solid. We wouldn't last a minute inside the darkness" Cole argues

"That is correct. You are merely human. However, Aria and I are Oni. We can enter the darkness, make our way to the crystal, and destroy it. I will of course, require a weapon, Aria has powers I do not" Garmadon says

Lloyd turns to Garmadon "that's not going to happen. I'm not letting Aria or you go anywhere, not without me. She's my fiancé and I'm your son, remember?" he walks up and stands before Garmadon "I'm Oni, too"

"No" Garmadon pushes Lloyd back "You are part Oni. That means you might survive"

"Lloyd I'm a pure blood Oni" Aria said walking up "I can watch Garmadon and make sure the crystal is destroyed"

"No" Lloyd rejected "I told you I'm not letting you out of my sight"

"Lloyd" Aria took his hand "trust me"

"...promise me" Lloyd looked at her in the eyes "Promise me that you'll come back to me"

"I will" Aria hugged him

The ship arrives at Ninjago City. The Ninja are getting Aria ready for her journey.

Zane places a small camera on Aria's necklace "This will allow us to see what is happening inside the cloud"

"I can barely see the camera" Aria said looking at it

"Good" Zane said "It's new"

"You sure you want to do this, Aria?" Kai asks

"yep" Aria replies

Cole hugged her "be careful cous"

"your petty emotions will only get in the way" Garmadon grumbled

"Be safe" Lloyd kissed Aria "and come back to me safely"

"I'll be fine. Don't worry" Aria reassured him

"Let's go. Give him a sword, Cole" Aria ordered

Cole pulls the sword out, watching Garmadon" Uhh, you sure about that?"

Aria nods. Garmadon stares at Cole impatiently. Cole nervously tosses the sword. Garmadon pretends to look at the sword. Cole turns his back around.

Garmadon leaps in the air at Cole "Hi-yAH!"

Kai pulls his sword from behind him. Cole pulls out his hammer quickly, and blocks Garmadon's moves. Garmadon knocks him aside as Jay faces him. Garmadon tosses Jay's nunchucks over his shoulder, and throws Jay on top of Cole.

Lloyd Spinjitzus to Garmadon, but Garmadon leaps over him, landing on Kai, then on Zane, and swings his sword at P.I.X.A.L.. Nya jumps down from the bridge with her sai out, but Garmadon blocks her from striking him and kicks her over him. He jumps up to fight P.I.X.A.L. Zane shoots at him, only for Garmadon to strike the arrow aside.

Aria stood there and watched as Garmadon slowly summons up his powers as the Ninja look on in surprise. Looks at his powers

"Hmm. That's better" Garmadon jumps off the ship.

"Okay, what the heck was that?" Cole asks

"Conflict fuels him" Aria replied walking over to the edge "He was powering up"

"He did that just to get his powers back?!" Jay shouts

Cole stomps angrily towards them "I. Do. Not. Trust. Him!"

"Aria are you sure?" Lloyd asks

"Yes" Aria replies confidently, she kissed Lloyd on the cheek before jumping off the ship.

Aria lands on the ground and catches up to Garmadon.

"You're quite agile" Garmadon says

"Oh the off-brand lord of darkness is complementing me" Aria smirks

Garmadon chuckles "I knew I liked you"

Aria and Garmadon start walking down the street towards Borg Tower. Occasionally, lanterns flicker light, then die out.

Aria sees stone Borg "Oh no, not him too"

"He has fallen into darkness" Garmadon says

"What exactly does that mean?" Aria asks "Is he still alive?"

"Yes, but in a deep slumber. Nothing you do will wake him." Garmadon replies "Only the destruction of the Realm Crystal can save him now." he walks away

Aria looks at Borg before running after Garmadon "Is this something we can do? Turn people to stone I mean"

"Possibly" Garmadon replies

Aria turns the corner, and immediately hides "what are those things

Garmadon peaks around and chuckles "Oni"

"those are Oni, how come I don't look like that?" Aria asks

"You're a dragon Oni, you're Oni form is your dragon form, you know the form where you have dragon horns and a tail" Garmadon explained

"Isn't that my half form?" Aria questioned

"No that is your Oni form" Garmadon replied "but you haven't accessed your full power yet"

"still?" Aria questioned surprise "I really could take over Ninjago with all this power I have"

Oni look around from the base of Cyrus Borg Tower, keeping watch.

"So what do we do?" Aria asks

"I have a plan. Follow me" Garmadon walks toward the Oni "Uh, greetings, Brother Oni. How are you? Love what you've done with the place" The Oni strike the ground with their weapons, casting darkness "Now!"

Garmadon leaps at the Oni, pulling out his sword and runs, trying to slice the darkness. Aria's eyes glow purple and she uses her dark energy to destroy the darkness near her.

"Don't destroy it when you can absorb it!" Garmadon shouts "It'll make you stronger!"

Garmadon starts punching and kicking the Oni, only to find they too, know how to fight. Garmadon summons his power and strikes one of the Oni off the steps. Aria runs over to Garmadon. Garmadon turns around to see the other Oni get up from his fall and face him.

The Oni strikes his sword out of his hand, and uses the darkness to carry it away from him. Garmadon strikes his Oni with his power. Aria uses her powers and a black circle surrounds all of them, it lights up purple under the Oni. Full blast dark energy is shot up at them and they fall to the ground unconscious.

"Impressive" Garmadon complements before walking towards the entrance

"yeah I'm not exactly a pretty princess in a tower waiting to be saved" Aria smirks "i'm more like a pretty princess that will chop your head off if you piss me off"

Garmadon chuckles "Are you sure you're a ninja?"

"I am" Aria replies "but I protect people, this is my city and nobody's going to take it from me"

The two walk in, the Cyrus Borg Tower symbol flickers slightly. They go through an elevator door.

Garmadon sees the room and looks at Aria "This is it"

The ninja watch the camera, while Aria and Garmadon enter the room. Darkness is pouring out of the Realm Crystal, with whispering voices heard in the room.

Jay sees the crystal, and shakes Zane "There it is! Destroy it! Quick!"

"She cannot hear you" Zane informs him

Garmadon pulls out his sword, looking at the crystal "Hmm" he strikes at the crystal, but is blocked by an Oni staff. The staff breaks the sword to pieces and throws Garmadon against the wall.

Aria sees Garmadon slump on the ground, and looks back to see the darkness form into the shape of the Oni leader. The Oni finishes his formation and strikes the floor with the staff, lightning flashing behind him. The Ninja look at each other in fear and shock.

"Aria!" Lloyd shouts worried

"She can't hear you" Jay says worriedly

Garmadon gets up

"now what's that?" Aria questions

"Whatever it is, it's about to experience my full wrath" Garmadon summons his power into four mini swords. He attacks the Oni, but within a few seconds, the Oni throws him against the wall. Garmadon tries to regain his power, but does not have enough anger in him to do so.

Aria uses her powers to form her fans, she looks down at them "...I just remembered I have these still"

"the ying and yang fans" Garmadon said surprised "the most powerful weapons in Ninjago"

"Who made me this overpowering?" Aria questioned

"your parents" Garmadon replied

Aria sent blades of dark energy at the Oni using her fans. The Oni blocked them and Aria is thrown against the wall as well besides Garmadon. The camera is damaged, disconnecting the Bounty's signal from Lloyd's camera.

Lloyd starts typing frantically "Zane! How do we get the signal back?"

"The signal is lost" Zane says sadly

"I am the Omega! The Destructor! The Bringer of Doom!" the Omega marches towards them and points his staff at them "Are you the protectors of this realm?"

"Normally" Aria replies

"Usually, no, but today yes" Garmadon replies

The Omega looks at the two "You two are an Oni, yet, you fight to preserve this realm" He leans a bit back, seemingly disgusted "Why?'

Garmadon sighs "If anyone is going to destroy Ninjago, it'll be me, not some Oni usurper with a walking stick" he smacks the stick away

"Then perish with them!" The Omega holds up his staff ready to strike at them.
