Aria was fighting against the Anacondrai warriors while Nya was trying to get ahold of the elemental masters and the ninja. The villagers of Jamanakai village were fleeing while Aria kept the Anacondrai from attacking them.

"Too much for you to handle alone dear" Chen taunted after Aria was thrown into the wall

Aria looked up and glared at him, Chen laughed as his Anacondrai closed around her. All of a sudden a giant purple beam shot into the sky and all the Anacondrai was thrown to the ground around Aria. Chen shook in fear when he saw Aria's eyes glowing dark purple with a dark aura around her.

"Too much" Chen said to himself

Aria ran forward and slammed Chen into the ground with her hand around his throat "Goodbye Master" Chen quickly moved his tail to hit her but she caught it "nice try Chen"

The Anacondrai warriors picked themselves off the ground and ran over to them. They grabbed Aria and threw her to the ground.

"stall her long enough for her dark powers to go into overload, without her true potential unlocked she won't be able to withstand all the dark power without going insane" Chen announced with a panicked tone "just like her mother"

All the Elemental masters, with the exception of Aria, arrived at the Samurai X Cave.

"Thank goodness you all got my message" Neuro said once everyone arrived

"Not everyone's here, where's Aria?" Lloyd questioned

"Her mind is not clear, I was unable to get a message to her" Neuro replied

"What do you mean her mind isn't clear?" Lloyd asked worried

"Something is blocking her mind" Neuro tried to clarify, he sighed "Just know that I couldn't reach her"

"So why were we asked here?" Griffin questions "We should be fighting snakes"

"Because anyone can fight. Only one side can declare victory" Wu replied

"In the time it took you to get here, Chen has taken over the entire Eastern seaboard and is moving inland. With each village destroyed, they grow stronger" Nya informed them

"How are we supposed to stop them?" Gravis asks "Most of us have lost control of our Dragons, not to mention we're outnumbered ten to one"

"Actually, 62.4 to one" Zane calculated

"Look, I'm scared like the rest of you. It may look like we've lost, but it's not over" Lloyd spoke up "When we thought we lost Zane, it nearly tore us apart. But we didn't quit. We let it fuel it. We grew stronger."

"There's hope" Wu agreed "The Corridor of Elders, I know we don't stand much of a chance taking on Chen's entire army at once, but after he's controlled the East, he'll move West tomorrow and have to pass through Echo Canyons. Our best tactical position is to make our stand where it bottlenecks: at the Corridor of Elders, the monuments honoring our ancestors. It's the narrowest channel, but our greatest chance"

"If we can't stop them here, the rest of Ninjago will fall like dominos" Garmadon said

The Ninja head to different locations to recruit the citizens. The Cultists made their way to the Canyons. Chope. Kapau, Zugu, and Eyezor are carrying Chen in the Roto Jet.

Lloyd marks the ground with his Energy "We fight for each other. We fight as one"

Everyone cheers.

"The Ninja" Chen says angrily "Charge!"

The Cultists fall through a hole.

"Trapdoor? That's my signature move. Ugh, destroy them!" Chen shouts

Zane covers the hole with Ice. The Ninja and their allies hold the cultists back. In the sky, Nya, Misako, Wu, and Garmadon fly Destiny's Bounty 2.0, using it to destroy the cultists' vehicles. However, Chen uses the Roto Jet to blast apart the Corridor's walls, allowing his army to start passing through.

"We have to stop them!" Lloyd shouts

"We don't have enough people!" Kai shouts

"We can't hold them all!" Cole shouts

"ARIA" Jay yells

A dark beam gets shot right at the cultists

"ha it worked" Jay said happily

A figure jumped down and turned around to look at all the elemental masters

"A-Aria" Lloyd stuttered as he walked over to her "you-"

"I can't control myself for much longer" Aria cut him off "If you're going to do something do it"

Aria ran off to fight the cultists, she cut off a couple of their tails which seemed to weaken them. The other Elemental masters snapped out of their shock and helped her fight.

Nya: They crossed the line.

Having escaped Chen's camp by riding the swamp rat, "Rodrigo," Pythor arrives at the battle with the Book of Spells. He goes to Lloyd "I have something your father needs to see. You can trust me because if anyone is going to take over this world, I'd rather it be me. Take me to your father, and he can end this once and for all"

"I don't know" Lloyd said unsure

"Aria cannot keep up for long, if she keeps using her powers in that form she will lose control and people will die!" Pythor said angrily "hurry and take me to your father"

"...Let's go" Lloyd grabs Pythor and goes on the Bounty's anchor to get up "Pythor says he has something that can end this war"

Wu shakes his head "They've crossed the line of no return. No amount of power can stop this now, not even Aria"

"But the might of a true Anacondrai can" Pythor informs them "If the generals Garmadon banished to the Cursed Realm so long ago saw this mockery, they would stop this travesty at once"

"No one comes back from the Cursed Realm" Misako says

Garmadon picks up the book of spells "Unless he that cursed them takes their place. I could unleash the spirits of the Anacondrai Generals"

"If you banish yourself. Magic has its rules, you know" Pythor says

"We're not cursing you. We're not losing you to bring them back" Lloyd argued

"If we do nothing, we lose Ninjago" Garmadon said

"We don't even know if they'll help" Misako adds

" We do know that the real Anacondrai wanted peace as much as us. It was Chen who started both wars. I never thought I'd say this, but Pythor is right" Garmadon says

Wu shook his head "I cannot allow this, brother"

"Who are we fooling?" Garmadon questions "There's not enough time for me to make up for the pain I've caused in my life. But if I could save Ninjago..."

"You want my blessing to walk out on us again, fine. But don't expect me to stick around to watch you go. My real family needs me" Lloyd jumps off the Bounty

"Lloyd, wait!" Garmadon shouts as the Bounty gets hit with a missile.

"If this is going to happen, I suggest we do it now" Pythor says "we need Aria to perform the spell, this is her mother's spell book. Only Aria's dark powers will work"

Aria jumped onto the bounty as her eyes turn green and she holds her head in pain

"Are you alright?" Misako asked worriedly going over to help her up quickly

"I almost lost control" Aria replied as Misako helped her stand

"do you have enough power left to perform a spell?" Wu asks

"I think so" Aria replied blinking a bit "I can't see very well"

"This is your family's spell book" Garmadon tells her as he hands her he book of spells "Clouse stole it many years ago from your mother, it's time it returned to its rightful owner"

Aria took the spell book and read through the spell to herself before looking at the four "ok I'll do my best"

"thank you" Garmadon smiled a bit

Aria breathed out and started the spell "Komodo, nicktu, demic tara."

"Misako, will you ever forgive me for the letter?" Garmadon asks

"I already have" Misako replies sadly

Garmadon's eyes tear up "Tell Lloyd I'm sorry"

"You can tell me yourself" Lloyd climbs into the Bounty "I'm sorry too"

"Kenji, severus, toto-demada, cursono, neeboro" everyone gasps when they see the portal "actu, cursono, neeborro."

"I yearned to make the world in my image. I never realized I already had, in you" Garmadon tells Lloyd

"Sono, hokido, bo-rock!" Aria finished the spell

Garmadon screams as he ascends to the portal. As a flash of light subsides, those on the battlefield noticed this and momentarily stop fighting. Everyone is then shocked to see the spirits of Arcturus and his generals arrive at the battle; they condemn Chen's followers to the Cursed Realm.

"Arcturus! What are you doing? W-we're on the same team!" Chen shouts

"You will never be one of us. Because you are a liar, a cheat, and an imposter!" Arcturus shouted

"I can't be cursed! Aah! Save me, Skylor!" Chen shouts as Skylor, now a human again, watches him go in the portal. Everyone cheers.

"All right! Hahaha. Yeah, we did it, guys. We did it" Kai says happily

Misako sees Lloyd frowning "The war is over. It had to be done"

"Thank you, Pythor. You should be rewarded for your courage and bravery. You have made your ancestors proud. Finally" Arcturus tells Pythor

"Oh, what can I say? Everyone can change" Arcturus makes Pythor back to his normal size. He gasps "That's more like it. Haha!"

"And thank you, Master Lloyd. Because of your friends, you have done what we never could: united the Serpentine and your kind as one. Because of you, the balance is restored. And because of your father, our spirits can be free. You will have our eternal respect as the greatest warriors to ever battle for Ninjago"

Lloyd smiles as the generals go into another realm. The Ninja and Elemental Masters agree to keep in contact, as they go their separate ways after the war's end. The Ninja form a circle around a campfire.

Wu pours tea in Kai's cup "To the Anacondrai, the greatest warriors of their time"

"Because we're proud of those who were here before us to show us the way. Goodbye, Father" Lloyd says sadly as Aria laid her head on his shoulder "I am Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon. Student of Sensei Garmadon. He made me who I am today. He was my father. He was my adversary. But in the end, he was my friend"

"Because of him, we will live to see tomorrow" Zane continues

"And for every tomorrow, we'll live to honor him" Kai added

"And because of him, we'll be ready for whatever comes next" Jay adds

"Skeletons, snakes, Nindroids, and Anacondrai wannabes. If they can't stop us, what can?" Cole questions

"That's for tomorrow to decide" Lloyd replies "Today, we say goodbye to a legend"

Aria felt a breeze flow through her hair, she lifted her head up to look up at the sky and whispered to herself "brother"
