Once the copter was a distance away, the couple was throw into the golden power extractor. Immediately the machine powered on and starting extracting the golden power from Lloyd. Aria fell to her knees and put her hand over her heart.
"Aria hang in there" Lloyd said weakly
"Soon you will be utterly powerless. And I will escape this digital prison and become whole, and nothing will stop me from becoming the Golden Master!" The Overlord shouts as the Golden power flows into him
In Lloyd's mind Lloyd hears his father's voice 'He who holds the power has a tremendous obligation. You must be prepared to handle this journey alone. Even without me one day'
"You are all alone, Golden Ninja. Nothing can save you now" The Overlord laughed
Aria screamed, her heart felt like it was being ripped apart. Lloyd fell to his knees from the loss of power and held onto Aria's hand.
"Ninja please hurry" Lloyd mumbled
The Overlord smiled "The pain will subdue soon my dear, just pass out and when you awaken you will be a new person"
"She's your daughter! Can't you see this isn't what she wants!" Lloyd shouts
"She is my daughter and I am her father! I already lost my wife, I will not lose my daughter to ninja!" The Overlord shouted

"I am not alone. I am not alone" Lloyd kept saying to himself
Lloyd heard Zane's voice "You are not alone"
Lloyd smiled then looked at Aria who was passed out "We're gonna be ok"
The Overlord's system rebooted and Lloyd is freed from the chamber, but the Nindroid MechDragon is set ablaze.
The computer starts talking "Losing altitude. Impact in T-minus 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1"
Lloyd picks up Aria and jumps into the Sea. Lloyd manages to swim to the shore of a remote village. Lloyd looks at Aria.

"Aria" Lloyd calls
Lloyd panics and checks her pulse, their was none.
"No" Lloyd laid Aria down on her back
Lloyd puts his hands above her and senses no golden energy in her.
Lloyd heard P.I.X.A.L. on his communicator "Lloyd, are you there? Do you read me?"
"I'm here. I'm all right. But Aria's not breathing, the golden power in her heart is gone" Lloyd said starting to hyperventilate
"Son calm down" Garmadon instructed
"Dad? You're alive" Lloyd said a bit happy
"Yes, now Lloyd you need to put your hands on over her heart and focus on putting your energy into her" Garmadon instructed "And you need to be as close to her heart as possible so you need to make direct contact with her skin"
"Aria will wake up and slap me" Lloyd said
Garmadon chuckled "you are her boyfriend and you need to save her"
"Right" Lloyd said
Lloyd lifted up her shirt "sorry sweetie, I need to save you"
Lloyd concentrated all of the golden power he has left and put it into Aria. He felt her pulse pick up again and he sighed in relef. He quickly pulled her shirt back down as Aria opened her eyes.
"What happened?" Aria asked as she sat up
"The Overlord was rebooted, we're safe" Lloyd said hugging her
"Alright love birds, where are you?" Jay asked
"We're in a remote village" Lloyd answered
"Stay where you are, we're picking you up" Garmadon instructed
"Thanks guys" Lloyd said
Lloyd laid down and pulled Aria to lay down with her head on his chest.
"Lloyd-"
Lloyd stopped her "Shh, I'm comfortable"
