"how long has he been underwater?" Aria asked
"A long time" Kai replied
"If he drowns do we have to pull his dead body up or will it float up?" Aria asked
"What kind of question is that? He's fine" Cole replied
After awhile longer Zane surfaces and the ninja all cheer
"Amazing!" Cole shouted
"We're not worthy" Jay said falling to his knees and Aria laughed
"I broke the record?" Zane questioned
"You destroyed it!" Kai replied
"Okay, okay. Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? We've been training for so long, I don't think we can get any better. Just think about all we've accomplished" Jay said
Aria sighed "what you've accomplished, I can't do anything
"What are you talking about, you've done a lot. Like dealing with that giant spider to get your weapons" Kai said patting her head
"Not to mention all the hard training you've been doing to learn them" Cole added "you're doing just fine kiddo"
"We have all made a lot accomplishments these past couple months, I wonder if we've reached our full potential yet?" Zane questioned as they head inside the Destiny's Bounty to find Wu "Well, every morning I do five hundred push-ups"
"Five hundred? Ha, try a thousand" Kai bragged
Jay laughed "Hahaha, I do a thousand and one"
"What is this, amateur hour?" Aria questioned smugly
Cole laughed "Sounds like my warm-up. Sensei, what does True Potential look like if—"
They see Master Wu putting away a katana.
"Sorry we inturrupted you Sensei" Aria said
Wu sighs "I'm sorry if I've been distant lately. My mind has been elsewhere since Lloyd has gone missing. What can I help you with?"
"Sensei, what if we've done enough training? What if we've reached our True Potential? What if we're ready?" Cole asked
"Hm. You might have reached peak physical condition, but you've yet to reach your inner potential. In each and every one of us, there are obstacles that hold us back. Only when you conquer that fear will your heart be free. Only then will you reach your True Potential. Only then will we have a fighting chance to stop the Serpentine from releasing the Great Devourer" Wu said

"There's more to the Great Devourer than you've led on, isn't there, Sensei?" Zane questioned
"when I was younger me and my brother were the best of friends. One day while we were practicing our skills, I lost my katana, and my older brother sought to find it, knowing our father would not be pleased. Garmadon found the katana after clambering over the wall, however, he was bitten by a small green snake. In the following days after, Garmadon developed an increasingly darker nature, thanks to the snake bite that was from a legendary snake, the Great Devourer." Wu told them
"And their's no known cure" Aria said sadly
"we cannot change the past, we can only look to the future. That said, I am going on a journey, alone" Wu said
"what no" Aria said holding onto his arm
"It must be done" Wu said patting Aria's head "it is a place you cannot follow"
The Ninja are all taken aback, but they and Nya oblige, dropping Wu off at a nearby mountain. Afterwards, the Ninja decide to go to Jamanakai Village to post signs about the missing Fangblades. As Zane is posting signs, he sees the Falcon.
The Ninja travel through different terrains to reach the Falcon's destination. Eventually Jay, Cole and Kai become too tired to go on while Zane and Aria proceed into a frosted forest.
Zane looked up at the falcon "Where are we going, my mysterious friend?"
The Falcon falls from the sky and twitches, with sparks coming out of it.
"Is it ok?" Aria asked as they approached it
"You're a...a robot?" Zane questioned before he puts the Falcon next to a tree and sees a robot.
"Intruder! Intruder! Prepare to be terminated!" The robot shouted and Aria hid behind Zane
"Ninja, go!" Zane partially buries the Juggernaut with snow.
"Intruder! Intruder! Prepare to be terminated!" It shouted
Zane disabled it and sees the same symbol on the Falcon "The same symbol. Where have you brought me, my Falcon friend?" He spots another symbol on a tree and opens it, revealing the Hidden Workshop "So, this is your home, my mysterious friend"

"I-Is it safe?" Aria questioned shivering
"It should be" Zane replied taking her hand "come, it should be warmer for you in here"
While searching through the building, he finds a blueprints for the falcon. He uses the blueprint to fix the bird. "You brought me here, but why?" He pulls out another blueprint from under the Falcon's. "No! It can't be. No! Noooo!"
Aria ran over to him "Zane what's wrong" Aria gasped when she saw the blue print
"I am not..." Zane shook his head in disbelief
The rest of the Ninja arrive and find Zane on his knees with Aria kneeling beside him.
"What's wrong?" Kai asked
Zane stood up and opened up his torso, he's a robot "All this time, and I never knew"
"Uh, guess this explains why you're always acting so weird. Right? Hehe" Jay laughed nervously
Zane shook his head "The reason I never had a sense of humor was because my funny switch wasn't on"
He turns it on and starts singing and dancing stupidly "Hello, my baby. Hello, my honey. Hello, my ragtime gal. Send me a kiss by wire"
Jay and Aria laughs while Zane turns the funny switch off and sighs.
"Uh, it just makes you more special. You're still the same Zane. Just more, uh, gears" Cole tried to comfort
Kai put his arm around him "No matter what you're made of, you're still our brother"
"Really?" Zane questioned
"Of course you are, why would this change anything" Aria said "You're still Zane"
Jay smiled "Yeah, and how cool is it that I can honestly say My brother is a Nindroid?"
"A Nindroid?" Zane questioned confused then sighed "Thank you guys, but I wish to be left alone right now"
"Come on Aria" Kai said taking Aria's hand and leading her out of the workshop with them
They are soon attacked by Treehorns. They dodge their attacks at first, but are unable to defeat them and are quickly subdued.
In the workshop, Zane takes another look at his blueprints and, realizing he has a Memory switch, flips the switch on. He remembers his father, Dr. Julien, and the different things he taught him over the years.
His father explains to Zane that he was built to protect others, and wishing to save his son the pain of heartbreak, turns off his Memory switch before passing away of old age. Zane, having regained his memories, sheds a tear for his father.
"ZANE" he heard Aria yell
Zane rushed out "Leave my friends alone! Ninja, go!"
He quickly rusher out to help his friends. Together they defeat the Treehorns, but things take a turn for the worse when the Queen arrives. Zane backs down a bit.
"Zane listen to me, you're not just a robot you're our friend, our brother, our family. All families are different, our family is very different and we come from different places but that's what makes our family so special, it's what makes us a family" Aria said
Zane smiled and turned to the queen treehorn "You will not hurt my friends. There is nothing that will hold me back. I know who I am" Zane starts to turn light blue
"What's happening to him? Was he programmed to do that?" Kai questioned
"I've never seen a robot do that" JAy said
"Zane's unlocked his True Potential" Aria said
Zane freezes the queen and falls "What happened?"
The ninja cheer and rush over to him.
"That was awesome!" Jay shouted
"You should've seen yourself" Kai said
Cole smiled "Heh, I've never seen anything like it"
"This must be what Sensei meant by unlocking our hearts. I remember now. I remember everything. I remember my father and how he cared for me. I remember where I came from. And I feel stronger for knowing" Zane said "I may not have my father anymore, but I still have my family. Thank you Aria"
Aria smiled and hugged him "I'm so happy for you Zane"
"We have our very own Nindroid!" JAy shouted excitedly and everyone cheers.
"Watch out, Pythor. We're coming to get you" Zane said
Aria walked over to the frozen treehorn and stared at it "So that's the true power of an elemental"

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
