Umiko's Wings! ^
Previously:
"Don't try. Their chakra handcuffs." Ruka smirked and rushed towards Umiko with a fist pulled back.
She punched her in the stomach as Umiko spit out blood and grunted.
Now it was Ruka's turn to hurt Umiko. She continued to either punch or kick Umiko and her crystal armor was already shattered.
At the end, Umiko was panting, with a few scratches.
Ruka smirked and landed in front of her "Give up?"
Umiko smirked "I'm not done yet!"
'Kalseru! Now!'
'Got it!'
Umiko felt something twitch on her back as two big blue wings grew behind her as they unflapped and showed all their glory.
No One's POV
Ruka stared wide eyed at the girl with big blue wings, sharp nails at every end of them.
Umiko then looked up and flew above the air.
The chakra cuffs broke from her ankles, as Umiko was now in the air, glaring down at the small figure as if she was a bug she could squish any moment.
Her wings were so big they shadowed half the arena.
Umiko got ready to launch her attack. She pulled her head back "Mizu no...!"
She took a deep breath "Hoko!" (Water dragon's roar!)
A tunnel of water blasted from her mouth towards Ruka, as Ruka widen her eyes.
Before she could escape, the water already washed her away.
Everyone that was watching widen their eyes.
Once the water decreased, Ruka laid on the ground, coughing up water. She looked at Umiko "W-What are you...?"
Umiko spread her arms out, her wings following "Your worst nightmare."
She zoomed at Ruka and pulled back her fist "Mizu no Tekken!" (Water dragon's iron fist!) (I'm very sorry I'm stealing everything from Fairytail)

She punched Ruka in the stomach. Hard. Ruka spit up more blood than Umiko's last punch. And, since that spell had half Kalseru's chakra, it was ten times stronger.
She flew back and hit a wall, making smoke rise.
Umiko landed on the ground waiting for Ruka to make her next move.
Once it cleared, Ruka was frozen for a moment. She then slowly sat up, one arm clutching her stomach, one eye closed.
Umiko got ready to make her next move.
Ruka slowly rose her hand "I-I can't take t-this anymore...she's to strong...I forfeit."
Umiko got back in her normal position.
Hayate looked at Ruka before looking at Umiko and moved his arm towards her "The winner is, Umiko."

"Man, that was such a drag." Umiko sighed as she sat on the ground, her back against the wall, behind the place evryone was watching the fights.
Naruto rushed towards her and crouched down, his face full of curiosity "Ne, ne Umi-chan. How did you grow wings?"
Umiko sweatdropped "You really are a dense idiot Naruto. But, I'll tell you anyways. I have the onubi inside me."
Naruto tilted his head "What's a onubi?"
Umiko sweatdrop grew "The 12-tailed."
"What's the twelve tailed?"
She blocked his face with her hand so it was out of her 'view' "Go ask Kakashi-onni san."
Soon, all the matches were over as they got ready for the

Black Core Summoner
He remembered that it hurt. Gaining power hurt. No one ever warns you about the pain that comes before or after. The blinding torture that racked his body for centuries was nothing compared to losing — well ... everyone. He supposed he should have known things wouldn’t work out in the end — things rarely do for Gods.

A Prose of Years
For decades, spiritualist Evert Kallstrom and his team have joined in humanity’s millennia-long fight against the beasts. Wielding their weapons and their ki, they fought and killed these great threats to civilization. And yet, despite their efforts, humanity was losing traction in the war. In the last fifty years alone, more cities had been overrun than in all of known history. While most thought the great beasts natural, a few knew the terrible truth. They were the product of a dark lord, who desired neither fame nor wealth nor power. Instead, his sole purpose was the genocide of humanity. While their peers dithered, a small faction of the strongest mankind had to offer—including Evert Kallstrom and his team—set out towards the Deadlands to find and confront this dark lord. After weeks of travel, twenty-one spiritualists found themselves approaching an ancient fortress wherein rested a being known only as the Eastern Guardian. All they found was death. But death has other plans for Evert. Evert bolts awake in his 16 year old body near his hometown, decades in the past. He is confused, poor and weak. But with grit, sweat, and years of experience, he won't let the future repeat itself. That level of strength won't be enough by itself (it wasn’t last time) and victory is hardly assured (he’ll need to reach farther and higher than he ever did), but Evert refuses to squander a second chance. [Other tags: First Person POV, Hard Magic, Faulty Memory] Volume 1 is complete and has been fully released. My current intention is not to write any sequel volumes. That said, I have also released appendices (SPOILERS) that cover the worldbuilding and future story-that-never-was. Comments suggesting fixes for grammar, misspellings, etc. appreciated. Note: If you came here from Candlelit Lives, these stories have nothing in common.

Young Magic Knight
Welcome to the fantastic world of Bios. Another world, not much unlike our own, with some exceptions, such as, say, the presence of gods, demons, and magic. While things like these were once common knowledge, the Great Witch Hunt, which occurred 500 years ago, forced most of the magicians who survived into hiding, and many of the old religions to disappear, with the exception of a few. And so, as time went on, history was rewritten, and those amazing things became, to the population at large, the stuff of legends. However, in the year of 2017 A.S. (Anno Salvator), a group of teenagers find themselves pulled into the magical side of Bios as they encounter the Magic Knight Forces, discover dark secrets, and realize that a great threat is rising from its long sleep... The time for the supernatural to come out of the shadows is coming.
