《A Blind Ninja's Tale》Chunnin Exams

Since returning home we had been back to the usual chores as well as the occasional border patrol. The intelligence division had heard of my talents and a man named Ibiki had become intrigued. He would often invite me to the intelligence division headquarters were him and a few others would test my abilities. I was quit furious at daddy cause he had over used his Sharingan not once, but twice. I couldn't stay mad at him for long. But he went without my cooking a few days and let's just say he's not good at cooking. Well today we were meeting sensei at our usual place. The local bbq joint. It was sorta our place for when we want to relax. "So I called you three here to tell you I plan to sign you three up for the chunnin exams." I had heard of them from dad but I was kinda surprised we were being sent so early. "Now I expect to see the best out of you three. I know we've only known each other a short time but I believe in you three." I was happy to hear that he believed in us so well. "This will be a challenge. But I don't plan on backing out. I'll show the whole world that I'm capable of being a ninja." I could hear him laugh as Choji just kept eating and Shika just sighed and said troublesome.
So we were in our usual place that overlooked the village. I was laying watching the clouds with my head in Shurui's lap. Shurui was humming a tune that was really relaxing me. Choji was calmly eating a bag of chips and occasionally speaking with Shurui. This is nice. Maybe I can take a nap. Then again it's nice just watching the clouds. I was just about to doze off when a new person came and interrupted my peace and quiet. "Hey mind helping us with some directions." Troublesome.

These are new signitures. I wonder if their here for the exams? "Hello you three their. We're talking to you." I heard a boy say before an abrupt smack and a ouch from said boy. "Sorry bout him. He needs to learn manners. Anyways we're looking for the inn we've been put up In for our time in the village. Could one of you help?" Shikamaru groaned but I got up and walked over to them. "Let me see please." I heard a gasp from a girl. "How are you going to help us if your blind?" I felt Shika's chakra spike. He always got mad when someone pointed out my blindness. "I'll show you. But first let me see the paper." The girls aura showed clear confusion but she handed the paper over. Hmm if I remember the layout of the village correctly then this is nearby. "Ok. I know where to go. Please follow me.
Being led by a blind girl. Sounds ridiculous. But I am surprised. She hasn't ran into anyone and she seems to know where she's going. While we walked she asked where we were from. Kankuro answered for me. "Oh. You must be here for the exams. I hope you have good luck". At least this team knows about the exams. Gaara has been watching the girl since we saw her. She must interest him. I have to admit I'm curious about her too. She must be a ninja. But how well could a blind ninja fight. "Well here we are. I hope you three enjoy your time here. Bye Shika and Choji. I'm heading home."
Strange. Mother isn't blood crazed around this girl. I have to admit she does seem to be a talented non. Maybe she'll be another test of my skill.
