Waking up I just lay there stroking Lauren's hair as she slept just admiring her for a few minutes before getting up and getting dressed.

"Where you going". Lauren asked walking into the bathroom rubbing her eyes

"I got to go check up on some stuff at the store then I'm coming back to the house to take y'all out". I said stepping out of the shower drying off

"I have to go on set today so Samantha said she was going to watch them". She said putting toothpaste her toothbrush

"When you ask her could she watch them". I asked putting on my white durag

"I asked her last night since your mom was busy and your dad had to work". She said brushing her teeth

"How long you think y'all gone be shooting today". I asked wrapping my arms around her from behind

"We only going over a few parts so a few hours". She said and I nod kissing her cheek

"Alright I got to get out of here I love you". I said watching her look at me through the mirror

Walking out the door I lock it before getting in the car I lean my seat back cutting the radio on.

As I was driving I go through my messages and see that Lauren sent me a text earlier this morning.

My loyalty and devotion is to you." the message read and I smiled before texting her back and placing the phone back in my lap

After a few minutes of driving my phone vibrates in my lap and I pick it up to see

my brother was calling so I answer.

"What it do youngin". He asked as soon as the call connected

"Not shit on my way to check up on things at the store but Wassup what you doing". I said making a right turn

"Sitting over granny house for a little minute". He said and I nod as if he could see me

"How long you gone be over there when I'm done at the store me, Lauren and the kids will slide through over there". I said pulling into the parking lot and parking in front of my store

"What time you think you gone be done over there". He asked ignoring what I just asked him

"For an hour or two". I said cutting the car off but still sitting inside

"Aight I'll still be here".He said and I open the car door stepping out

Putting my phone in my pocket I walk into the store looking around. Walking to the back I go in my office and check the books to see how much we brung in this month so far and the numbers was looking right.

After going over all that I needed to be done I close the books and unlock my safe before putting them in there and locking it. Standing up I pull up my pants walking out of the office making sure I lock it before going to the front.

"How y'all doing today". I said leaning on the counter talking to my employees

"We doing good nip".They said smiling before going back to helping customers

"Alright I'm out if y'all need something call me Aye Herman come talk with me". I said making him turn to walk back outside as I dapped them up and walking outside to see some people standing there

After he that he went inside the burger joint beside my store Burger Master. And as we still stood outside talking he came back out and left.

"That's all I needed to get up with you about". I said dapping him up and he walked back in the store

Taking out my keys I go to unlock the door when I felt something hitting my leg causing me to look down.

"I'm sorry can she get a picture with you". The little girls mother said and I smiled nodding before squatting down and holding her arm

"Thank you nipsey". The women said giving me a smile and I nod turning to see Kerry and Pac-Man walking up

"Wassup What y'all doing over here". I ask and before they could reply shots rang out

Feeling a burning sensation in my torso I groan holding my hand over it looking down at the blood. There was another shot and I felt it in my leg before another one let out and I fell blacking out.

As I was in the car headed to my brothers store my phone began to blow up with messages and phone calls. Answering the phone I hear crying a yelling in the background.

"Yo what's going on". I asked turning down the radio

"Man they shot him". Pac-Man said groaning into the phone

"Wassup with you and who they shoot". I ask speeding up

"They shot your brother man I got hit but I'm good just get here". He said hanging up

In no time I served into the parking lot barely parking my car and hopping out running towards my brother who laid on the ground. Dialing 911 I check over his body to see if I could find entrance wounds.

"911 what's your emergency". The 911 operator said on the other side of the phone

"It's my brother man he's been shot". I said sniffling lifting up my glasses to wipe my eyes

"Push down on his chest so that he will get air into his lungs and the ambulance are on their way stay on the phone with me". The operator said and I do exactly as he says

In the mist of doing that nipsey opens his eyes lowly and grabs onto my arm causing me to look down at it. I stop for a moment before I continued and then the paramedics came and I backed out of the way standing up watching them insert a tube down his throat and put an IV in his arm.

As they picked him up to place him on the stretcher blood stained the white sheets where his head laid.

"We have to hurt up and get him to the hospital". One of the paramedics said and they put something behind his head to stop the bleeding

They close the ambulance door and drive off with the sirens on. Standing there stuck for a moment I look around and see people looking at me before I rushed and got into my car following behind the ambulance.
