《Heir To The Iron Crown: Butterfly ✓》32 - þrjátíu og Tveir

I woke up to find myself in the open field again, sitting in the grass, a sunset imminent.
I didn't have to look, but I knew that the cottage was behind me. I noticed a deer grazing at a distance. It was peaceful, innocent.
I got up and walked towards it slowly, a collection of flowers in all colors, blooming from out of nowhere around my feet.
Every step I took created a path of little flowers that caused ease in my heart. The flowers grew faster, greater in number as I got closer to the lovely deer.
It wasn't afraid of me as it noticed my approach, and stood straighter, awaiting.
As I reached to touch it, the deer responded by leaning into my hand, calm and trusting.
The peace in my heart didn't stay for long, however.
Instantly the deer's ears stood on end, alert. I heard a voice in my mind, and I could tell it was the deer in front of me.
"Everything that happens once cannot happen twice. But if by chance it happens twice, it will surely happen a third time."
I looked at the deer in confusion. I wish I could make something out of the words it gave me, but I couldn't.
"The cottage is the only place you can be safe. Go to it," it said.
It turned away from me, as if we didn't just share a peaceful moment, as if it was nothing. I saw it run away, my heart aching terribly, my tears abundant.
The cottage.
I turned around to face it, and a feeling of horror settled in.
The cottage was painted black, it's windows spilled light onto the grass around it, showing me someone was waiting inside.
And the path from my feet to its door, illuminated by the last light of the day before complete darkness, was lined with wilted, dead flowers.

...
I only felt the burn at first.
It was subdued, but it was still there.
I couldn't feel anything else, but I knew I was lying down.
It took a while to tell that my hand was in someone else's.
But there was no way to tell who, my eyes wouldn't open, and my hand wouldn't move.
My senses were still numb, but I could slowly begin to hear conversation, although it was difficult to make words out of them, as if they spoke another language.
I tried to open up my mindlink, but I couldn't hear anything on the other side.
"Frida," I caught the name, followed by a lot more incessant conversation.
I could feel myself slipping again, and the sounds of conversation faded away into nothingness.

Re:volutionist
I died and then received an offer to be reincarnated in a Fantasy World. The problem is - I'm not exactly gonna be a ""hero"" of that world, this wasn't really an offer to begin with, and that strange shapeless black entity who gave me that ""offer"" wasn't really trustworthy... or sane. Now I am alone in the world that wants me dead. The world I am supposed to ruin as a part of a game I don't understand. I don't even know who plays that game... but it looks like it's a game in which everyone - from pawns to players - is trying to cheat.**********Mature Content Warning - foul language, gore (in the future), potential sex scenes (in the future).

Dragon, Knight
When one becomes a knight, they accept a certain standard befitting of one. Well, mostly. Volsten is a knight that isn't all that knightly. He's young, handsome, and quite gifted with a blade. That is, until he meets a mysterious dragon girl. This chance encounter changes the course of his life-for better, or worse.

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story.
