this is exactly what happened at the concert but in an imagine sorta way, even though i didn't imagine it, it actually happened. and i'm not twisting any part of the story except our age.

also i'm using my name and my friend's name for it considering the fact that it was us who went lol. also it's a lil weird.

7:10 i read on the alarm clock next to the hotel bed. "doesn't the concert start at 7:30?" i ask tenaya's mum as she applied makeup. "yes, that's why we need to leave now!" i pull my grey striped t-shirt over my head and we rush to the elevators.

tenaya and i look at our outfits. i'm wearing high waist black shorts, my brandy melville t-shirt and white hightop converse with my sunglasses propped up on my short, strawberry blonde hair to keep it out of my face.

tenaya wears an off-the-shoulder white brandy melville shirt and a blue denim skirt and her low white converse with her straight, short blonde hair resting atop her shoulders.

we leave the hotel and walk five blocks toward the white caps soccer stadium. "isn't it supposed to be in here?" i ask her mum. she nods. "i thought so." i glance at my iphone screen and see that it's nearly 7:30. "no, it's rogers arena!" tenaya says as we walk down a few stair cases.

and so we begin running toward the stadium. once we arrive, we get in as they inspect our tickets. we walk in only to be greeted by hundreds of girls lined up to by shawn's merch.

"oh boy." i say as we walk past all the girls and into the actual stage area. charlie puth comes out and begins to sing one of his most popular songs.

after his amazing performance, we go back out and line up to buy merch. "can you believe charlie and shawn stayed in our hotel?" i ask as we wait for the line to shrink. "not really, i mean that's insane!" tenaya replies as we approach the merch stand. we buy our tour shirts and make our way back into the stadium.

it goes completely dark and his intro begins which leads up to a bright light appearing and shawn rising from beneath the stage.

"this is crazy!" i shout as we take our seats.

he does 'there's nothing holdin' me back' and 'lights on' and a few more before going beneath the stage and coming back up the the centre of the stadium and we run and make it between shawn and three other people on front of us.

he plays 'castle on the hill' and moves into 'life of the party' on the piano. i place my hand over my heart and smile. he does one more song before 'roses'. he grabs the mic and begins walking all around the stage and touching fans' hands.

next he stands up and looks straight into my eyes for a few seconds before smiling and looking away, whilst continuing to sing.

"amanda! did you see that?!" tenaya yells. i nod. "yeah, he looked at me!" and i swear it was love at first sight.
