I walk around the clothes aisle looking for an anniversary gift.
It was our one year anniversary and I needed to make sure it's the best.
Suddenly I spot a Finn onesie from Adventure Time, knowing she loves that tv show.
I begin to make my way towards the food section to buy junk food to snack on. I get two bins of ice cream- one for each of us- and some Sprite to go with it.
Knowing I made nice choices I find myself in the movie section looking for a movie she likes.
I remember back in 2016 she loved Suicide Squad (it's like 2020 in this lol) and immediately grab it before anyone else can.
Lastly, I buy a huge bouquet of wild flowers. They're super colorful because she likes the 'really really pretty ones'.
After I'm happy with the things I got I check out and drive back home.
I can't seem to find anything that stubborn boy likes!
And anything he does want he already has.
He always wants something like a watch or a pair of socks but I'd be the lamest girlfriend ever if I got that for him.
I enter the clothes area and spot a Jake from Adventure Time onesie and immediately snatch it off the hook.
"He'll for sure love this." I mumble to myself. I walk back to the cash register and finish buying the onesie I got for him.
As walk up into my apartment I notice rose petals scattered on the floor which led to my bedroom.
On my bed there was a heart made out of rose petals with a huge gift bag in the middle.
"You sure outdid yourself this time..." I quietly say. I feel two arms wrap around my torso and smile.

"Happy one year anniversary, babe." He says to me. I turn around and giggle.
"Thanks for making me look like the worst girlfriend ever!" I playfully yell at him, while lightly punching him in the arm.
He chuckles.
"Alright now open your present!"
I walk over to the bed and unwrap it. I see Suicide Squad, some chocolates and a Finn onesie. I gasp and laugh.
"This is hilarious!" I burst out laughing.
"Um... was it a bad gift?" He asks me. I shake my head.
"No, no, no, no! It's perfect!" I toss him a gift bag as he opens him.
"Oh my gosh no way!" He laughs.
We quickly put them on and go to watch the movie with the tubs of ice cream he got. We drank Sprite and it was by far the best anniversary of my life.

Conquest of Avalon
Revenge. The Kingdom of Avalon swept across the Empire of the Fox a generation past, conquering the heartlands and leaving the broken remnants to stew in the island duchy of Guerron. This isn't a story of Good versus Evil, of kindly kings doing their best to lift all subjects, or of unvarnished heroes doing battle against evil. Instead, this story is about power: who has it, who wants it, and what people will do to obtain it. It is about the violence inherent in the imperial project and how even the most well-intentioned rulers and conquerors are, still, engaging in systemic violence against those conquered and defeated. Our three point-of-view characters are a peasant turned fire wizard, an excitable duelist with more enthusiasm than sense, and a scheming mage-priestess bent on reclaiming her family's birthright and waging war on the foreign oppressors who rule her home... no matter the cost in blood or treasure.
