《The human hunter avp》A meeting

So yes, Max finally arrives on Yaut (drum rolls) side note welcome back I'm expecting comments!
"So, remember all of your manners, the honorifics that you must use and all. Never look at another Yautja in the eye, unless they give you explicit permission or if I'm there with you. Stay quiet, talk when you are asked to and when I tell you that it is okay to do so."
Max nodded diligently, "Remember, my mate doesn't know who you are, and she'll be wary at first. You don't have to worry about her, she cares a lot for the Code of Honor and for respect and it definitely helps to make a good first impression."
They were nearly an hour away from reaching Yaut, Mark had taken the opportunity to dress his son and give him clothing that was like that of the Yautja, in the sense that the materials were the same.
In essence though, it boiled down to being a t-shirt and shorts. Still, he had applied a cream on the exposed skin, as the twin suns would likely cause irritation and give problems to little Max.
"Son, do keep in mind that when we'll be there, many will hate you, they will bare their mouths to you, but do not engage for I will always be with you when you are outside of my palace, and if not me, then one of my guards will."
The scene in which Max had meet one of them was still hilarious to him, as the boy had stood up and craned his head back to watch the hunter, as the other cocked his head to the side in curiosity.
"But be prepared nonetheless, Yautjan culture, as I have already told you, is vastly different then ours as humans. Here you will need to learn how to be a hunter." "I understand dad." "Good. Now come, I bet you want to see the planet in all of its glory."
"Woah, and you live there?!" The boy pointed towards the mountainous region towards which they were traveling, "Yup, that's exactly where I live."
He could see that Max's brain was having a meltdown, "It's huge! It's so big!" "Keep in mind that there are many other things in there. My home is kinda like a fortress. If you look down over there to the right, you'll see those docks, they hold a set of very large warships."
"And they are all yours?" Mark chuckled at his enthusiasm. It was so refreshing to see someone else react so surprised by all of his possessions... by all of his accomplishments. "The rank of Primal Hunter gives you control of a personal fleet, along with the ownership of many other distant planets." "You have planets too?! That's crazy!" He smirked but told him to quiet down.
He had engaged the autopilot now, and had picked up Max by surprise, placing him on his broad shoulders.
"There, now you can see everything, even as we land." He walked closer to the window, so that he could hold true to his promise.

From his derived silence, Mark already knew that his son was beyond amazed, so he remained quiet, as to not ruin the moment for him.
It was when they landed in one of the internal pads that he stopped him. He had already notified to Mhei that he had arrived.
"Here." He said, handing him a small mask that fit his lower face. "The air here on Yaut is different than on Earth. When I arrived for the first time, I did not need it, but I was already an adult then, and you are still a child, your lungs are developing."
Max looked up to him, "Will I always have to wear this?" "No, almost all of the rooms have pressurized seals, I can modify the atmospheric conditions in them. But you will need to use it every fifteen minutes approximately, for at least two minutes at a time. And Max," Mark lowered himself so that he kneeled in front of him, "Don't think of it recklessly, I cannot stress how important this is. Truthfully, it is only a matter of frequent usage. With time, as you grow older, you will have to use it less and less until eventually you won't need too."
His son nodded and already placed the mask on his face. "Wait, just breathe in for a little bit, and then we'll go." "Ok dad."
After doing so, Mark activated the exit hatch and extended the ramp below. When they got out, Max was looking al larking himself, being mesmerized by the walls of stone and metal. He pointed towards one of the portions and spoke them, "I recognize some of those letters." Mark patted his back, "See? You'll take up to the language in no time." "I still find it a little weird that I can't talk to them." "Neither can I son, we have to use the sign language, as we aren't capable of producing the clicks and growls that they are often to do."
That was another thing that he had yet to address: that of giving Max a translator. His was still installed in his spine, but he wondered if the boy would have preferred another option, something not so subtle or intrusive.
It was his body after all, and Mark would not push him to have it implanted, if he did not want to.
"Ready? Here we go."
Accompanying him, Mark walked up the set of stairs and opened the door. His guards were there and quickly formed a circle around them, he waved them away when he felt Max's scent become slightly more anxious.
This was supposed to become his home, as a father, the Primal Hunter would make sure that his son found it as a safe haven were he would not have to fear any kind of danger short of a planetary bombardment, and even then he would find security in the bunkers that extended for miles below the surface.
"You know, as soon as I get you settled in I can show you this whole place. Where would you like to go first?" "I don't know dad. You said that there was a dock, I want to go see your ships and fleet." Mark lifted an eyebrow, "And you are curious about ships?"

"Yes, I like them." "Hmm, you never told me about this." "Sorry." Max replied looking down, "Hey, now don't get all mopey on me son. You don't have to apologize for not telling me that."
The boy looked up to him, "But... you are my father, I'm supposed to tell you the truth and not kept secrets." Internally, he frowned deeply at hearing this information, and it saddened him so much to see that his only son thought about this relationship to be so... formal and cold.
"In part yes, you are supposed to Max. But that doesn't mean that I need to know everything. You can have secrets too you know, and that's perfectly fine as well, it's normal actually." He sighed and bent down so he could cup his head, "This is something new for me too."
"I never thought that I would be a dad, this will be a journey for both of us. There will be hard times, there will be happy moments and bad ones, but we'll go through them together Max. This is what it means to be a father. I should care for you and love you, by the same token you should be loved by me and taken care of. Sometimes tough... sometimes it doesn't always happen." He explained to the child.
"But I'll tell you more when we get to your room. And I want you to tell exactly how feel about it, if there's something that you don't like we can change it. Really, tell me if it's not your liking." He got back up to his feet and recommended walking, always going at a slower pace so that the boy could keep up.
They had taken a few elevators to reach the very top of the mountains, were his quarters were located.
Mark was talking with Max, when he smelled a new scent, and straightened up. Looking back at the boy, he simply said: "My mate is here, remember the yautjan customs." When he looked scared, Mark gave his shoulder a squeeze to make him relax.
Turning around the corridor, they came across Mhei, as she stood alongside a slew of her guards. Immediately, her masked eyes zeroed on Max, and he felt the boy partially come over behind him, as if he wanted to shield him.
With a short bark on her part, the guards left the chamber.
Slowly, she walked up to them, her gaze eventually settling on Mark. Her scent was one that bordered between being cautious and confused.
"My mate," She spoke in yautjan as she arrived at a couple of feet from him, "Why have you brought this child on Yaut?"
"Mhei, this is Max. He is our adoptive son." He replied in English. For a moment, the towering female stood still, and then her dreadlocks flared as she openly growled at him.
Mark felt the boy hold onto his leg, "You bring this... this... whelp inside of our dwelling and expect me to not question it?"
He held his hand up, "Listen to me, I understand that this was unexpected, but- "This is an insult male!" She roared and grasped him by the front of his armor; behind him, he smelled Max's fear and worry.
"By Lilka, have you no consideration for tradition? You want me to accept this animal as my own flesh and blood?! A terrified pup that is not even of my womb?!" "Quiet down, you're scaring him- "It cowers in fear already, it will not last a day among us Yautja!" She pushed him off to the side with such unexpected strength that Mark was flung away.
He got up in an instant just as the massive huntress cornered little Max. The child bowed his head and held his gaze low, though there was no denying his trembling and fear.
"Dammit Mhei! That is enough!" She whirled around to face him, "It is afraid, petrified. I see not a hunter but a meek prey in it. You were a fool to even fathom the thought of bringing it to our quarters." She growled quietly as her rage filled the room.
The Primal Huntress snarled at the boy one last time to intimidate him and Max fell to his knees with a scared whimper. Tears were trailing down his cheeks as the Yautja's hatred washed over him.
Mark roughly pushed her away, "What fuck is your problem?!" "You are not in the right to ask that question male. I will not concern myself with that disgrace of a wailing prey. You would do well to pray to Cetanu Mark, for the Dark Hunter will soon take this runt to his halls." With that threat she left the room, leaving the two humans alone.
An inferno of wrath burned inside him as he watched the female's silhouette disappear in the distance.
But now he could not afford to be angry with his mate.
His son needed him.
"Hey, come here, come here..." Mark whispered as he brought Max in for a hug. The boy gripped him tightly and buried his face into his shoulder as he began to cry and whimper.
"I'm... sorry my son. I..." Mark sighed and stroked his son's back as his small chest heaved with each labored breath.
"She... s-she was g-g-going t-to..." "Sshh... don't worry. Let it all out Max, let it all out, it's alright now." He was not expecting her to react so badly at all... it shocked him and scared him in part.
They stood like that for a long time, before eventually Mark looked at him in the eyes, "W-What... w-what if she hurts me?" "Mhei wouldn't do that, she is honorable- "SHE ATTACKED YOU DAD! SHE CUT YOUR EYE!" The boy shouted as his fear reached a new tipping point.
"Then I will protect you Max, I swear that I will." Mark whispered back soothingly as he hugged him again.
Yup, snu snu huntress is not happy at all. Leave your thoughts about this and of what will happen.
