When I woke up, for a moment I felt like I was back in my room with Adrian, curled up in his coils with a blanket over me but when I realized that Adrian was not embracing me from behind and having a headache, the reality sunk in that the thought it of what happen was a dream was not and I was here.

My eyes looked up to see Nathen with his back to me doing something. I follow down to see the colour of his snake half tail. It was similar to Adrian's with the tiger-like stripes except there were a light grey and a dark navy blueish greenish as the main colour. Almost like those military camo uniforms. I wonder...

Nathen turns and looks at me, "Good you are awake." I nodded in response and tried sitting up while coping with a headache. Suddenly a cup of water was hovering in front of me as Nathen showed in his other hand familiar red and white pills.

"Here, for the headache." Man, these nagas sure know what a person needs. I took them and I felt a bit better. Looking around, I've noticed that the cave was lit up by a lantern resting on a high small platform, supposing that it's still dark or we are deep inside the cave.

"How long was I out?" I asked.

"About 3 hours." Felt longer. "Through I'm surprised that Adrian hasn't come looking for you but that would mean that he has something worse in mind."

"What are you talking about?" I was getting annoyed with all these things about Adrian and the headache isn't getting any better. "You better start explaining to me what is going on?"

"Very well, if it makes you any better, I will." He sat down across from me in the circle of coils I was curled up in and looks at me calmly. "What do you want to know?"

The offering questions move, okay. I thought for a moment on where to start off. Should I start on what's going on with Adrian or something about him? My mind decided.

"Who are you and what is your connection to Adrian?" I asked. Better to know who I'm dealing with so I can understand where he is coming from and whether I should believe what he says or not.

"That's simple: I'm his brother. Twin brother." He answered. Immediately, I raised an eyebrow. How could he be his twin?

"You don't look like a twin." I stated.

"Fraternal. Not of the same egg. But we've both inherit our father's tiger strip tail. I suppose he never talked about me as a brother." I shook my head in response, "Of course, that should have been expected him."

"What are you doing out here in the first place?"

"Again, simple. I'm here to help you from suffering the same fate as all the others that us nagas have been doing for millennium and payback for what my brother did."

"What fate?" I asked. He looks at me, cringing his face a bit with concerned as if this was going to be information that I won't like.

"Being mated to him." I think a bomb has dropped on me. Me being mated to him? I mean, I do love Adrian but...I know what mated meant, read to many supernatural stories about mates on Wattpad. But I didn't think...

"And before you say it, no, it's not like those supernatural fan-fictions where some deity pairs two people together and cannot resist." Well, there goes that idea but that would mean.

"So, he chose me to be his mate?" I questioned to myself. I wonder why out of thousands of girls? "So nagas chose who their mates are?"

Nathen nods in response, "Yeah, pretty much or offered one, depending on the situation."

"And let me guess, they would still keep a hold on their 'chosen' mate even if the mate denies them?" Again, he nods.

"Though, it's rare for them to resist and rarer to get away from us." He added. Crap why is this going downhill. "You may have already known that we have hypnosis we can use. So that's why the percentage is low on escape." Okay, that explains that part.

"So you guys chose a mate, and hypnotise them to submit to you?" He nods again. "Why? What if the one they chose them wants to be with them willingly?"

He quick sighs and looks away, "It doesn't matter what you do. The fate will be the same." Fate? "Give birth to our kind then die."

I almost dropped my jaw. Okay...was not expecting that scenario. Getting a spidy feeling here.

"You see, we don't know why but there is only male nagas so any female nagas are impossible. So, what happens is that we find a woman to mate with, she gives birth to at least two new nagas then becomes useless."

"Useless? How?"

"Unable to give birth to anyone. You see, during the time a woman is pregnant with naga child and is soon to give birth, what happens in that process is that the woman's ovaries get damage." He explains. Ouch. "So, after the birth, she is unable to have any more child, both with naga and human."

Natural, my hand was placed where my ovaries would be. I now know why Adrian did want to fuck me yet. He was waiting for the perfect time to ruin them and use me as cattle to populate his kind. "Right..."

"So what I was doing and I'm sorry for doing it was extending that equation by smacking you during the hypnosis to cancel it. The equation now becomes: sex equal hypnosis plus any physical pain such as a smack you equal cancellation of hypnosis."

"Alright, I think I'm getting the picture." I said thinking hard on it, "So it's like a change reaction...scratch that I still don't see how it stop me from being hypnotized when having sex."

"So, what happens now is that whenever you get sexually touched, your mind will look at that equation as see that if you go under hypnosis you'll get hurt and it's something that it wants to avoid so it stops the hypnosis."

"Therefore, I remain conscious at all times during sexual moments." I completed the sentence and he nod. Now that makes sense.

"But what was the other method that you mentioned?"

"That I inject my own venom into you which is painful." At that moment my eyes bulged out of my head.

"Venom?!"

"Guess there are more things you still don't know about us, do you?" No, I don't and the more things I don't know, the more now I'm scared of Adrian. All the things that he's been hiding from me and he plans to do to me.

"So why are you helping me? Why are you denying your brother's way with his mate?" I asked. He looks at me sternly as if there was something about all this that cause a rift between the two. What happened?

"I want revenge on what he did to my mate."
