Luca slowly pulled away from the kiss and smiled at me. His hand remained on my cheek, holding me in place. I smiled back at him. For my first kiss that was actually amazing. I leaned forward and pressed our lips together again, wanting to feel the sparks fly between me and Luca. This time he wrapped his one hand on the back of my head while his other went to my waist, pulling me closer to him. I allowed him to move me and I kissed him harder. He opened his mouth slightly to push his tongue against my mouth. I opened my mouth slowly, following Luca's moves and instantly he pushed our tongues together. Without a second thought, I straddled his lap and moved my hands through his hair as we went on. I pulled away first for air and just stayed on him, hands in his hair while I panted hard to catch my breath. He moved both of his hands to my hips then slid them up to the middle of my back to hold my chest against him. I let out a soft needy whimper. For some reason, it felt like I wasn't myself. It felt like it was someone else controlling my body. Luca seemed to have noticed how I felt somehow and he smirked.

"Don't worry. It's just the mate bond. It's your instinct as my mate," Luca reassured me and I just nodded to him. Luca sighed and clenched his jaw, pushing me off him. I backed up and bowed my head down, realizing that I must have pushed it or forced him. Luca growled at me and pulled my hair so I looked up, causing me to cry out. He instantly let go, "look Lynn please just stop bowing down to me. I'm getting sick of seeing you like that. Now lets give you a shower. You stink."

I nodded as he pulled me up towards the bathroom. As we stepped in, he looked at me, expecting me to undress. I whimpered as I felt more self conscious than before. It was my mate after all and I didn't want to be rejected. This was my only chance at love and maybe even a family. If he saw my scars, he'd know I've been used and he'd reject me instantly. I hugged my body tightly and shook my head up at him.

"I-I don't want to strip in front of you. I'm not comfortable," I told him but the look he gave me said 'I don't care, strip to shower' and it only made it worse for me. I dragged in a long breath then turned my back to him as I slowly took off my shirt. The slight gasp I heard from behind me made me flinch and I closed my eyes tightly in fear. When I didn't hear anything else, I let the rest of my clothes slide off my body. I turned around to look back at Luca, hanging my head and I whimpered loudly, instantly apologizing, "Luca I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...It's okay if you reject me now...then I'll leave..."

A snarl came from the male in front of me as he lifted my chin to look at him, "don't apologize Lynn. Jesus fuck don't apologize for this or your body or anything," he reassured me then surprisingly he picked me up and sat me down on the counter. He looked over all of my scars then went to turn on the shower. He came back to me and rubbed his fingers along my perfectly visible ribs. He leaned down slowly and pressed his lips on one of my scars, making me smile softly. He did that to all of my other scars and they all made me giggle because it tickled. He pulled away after he kissed more of my scars then he picked me up from the counter, getting in the shower. I gasped and clung onto Luca, not used to the water coming down, especially the warm water. Luca laughed softly and rubbed my back. He was in the shower and still fully clothed. I smiled at him and laughed softly. I was comfortable with him. I didn't have the fear of him going to drown me in the water and I couldn't help but feel amazing being even beside him. After a little while of us just standing together, he put me own and allowed me to wash myself. I was used to taking very fast showers so I did it again. I was out of the shower, all cleaned up within a couple of minutes. Luca jumped out after me, still wearing his clothes. His mouth was agape in surprise at how fast I had finished my shower and I just smiled at him.

"I'm used to taking fast showers," I said to him and laughed softly. He frowned at my words but I shrugged it off, not wanting to talk about it still. I grabbed my clothes from before to put them back on but Luca stopped me and shook his head.

"Let me get you new clothes. Those are ripped and dirty and they stink. Stay here," he ordered then left the bathroom. I heard him removing his clothes and changing then he came back into the bathroom to ask me something. "Okay tell me now before I get arrested. How old are you?" He questioned and it made me giggle.

"I'm 19. I think. Well I guess Alpha would know for sure really. I don't know my birthday or anything," I explained to him with a small shrug. I really didn't know my age but the last I heard, I was 19 years old. Luca nodded carefully then turned and left without another word. He walked out of the room and I listened as the door shut.

I didn't move as I sat on the floor of the bathroom, waiting and listening. The only thing I did do was dry my hair with the towel. I started to think about telling Luca about my past but then it hit me. I had just met this guy. I knew he wasn't lying about being mates because when we kissed, I felt the sparks but I still worried. I worried that if I told him, he'd fight with my alpha or he'd reject me. I took a deep breath and sighed softly. I decided to just go for it. I stood up as I heard the door open and I stepped out of the bathroom.

"Luca I need to-" I stopped when I saw who it was. I whimpered loudly and instantly dropped down before my alpha. Bowing my head down to him. He growled loudly down at me and stepped on my head, snarling loudly.

"You may have convinced that stupid fucking fox that you're his mate thanks to you being an omega but you will never convince me. You're an omega and they don't get mates. In 3 days you'll be back to being my fuck toy. Everyone else's fuck toy. Everything will go back to what it was and you'll forget all about this. He would never mark and mate with someone like you," Alpha Zeek told me and it made me whimper, looking away. I wanted to cry but I would never in front of him. Then he'd beat me more than usual. He always did if I cried. He snarled then stepped off my head and left. Once I knew he was far away, I allowed tears to roll down my cheeks. I sobbed into my hand, trying to muffle the sound of anyone passing by. I laid flat on the ground, not wanting to move an inch as I tried to burrow my face into the hardwood floor under me. I froze when I heard a growl come from the open door. I flinched when I heard something drop, instantly thinking it was my Alpha again because he heard me crying. I didn't move from my spot as someone bent down beside me and picked me up. My eyes widened when I saw Luca's face twisted in anger and worry while staring at me. I whimpered loudly as my Alpha's words repeated in my mind, causing more tears to spill down my cheeks. Luca frowned and hugged onto me tighter, rubbing my back softly. I instinctively hugged onto him as well and cried against his shoulder. I didn't know what to think anymore. I was so confused by everything. I was worried Alpha was going to attack in the middle of the night and kill me or Luca would find out what had just happened and get very mad. Finally, after some time, I had calmed down and controlled my crying.

Luca pulled away from me slowly and wrapped the towel around me tighter. He didn't say anything to me and instead just grabbed the clothes he had dropped, bringing them to me.

"Sorry they're mine because I couldn't find something that would probably fit you," was the only thing he said so I just nodded and put on the loose boxers that could be considered shorts for me since his thighs were thicker with muscle than me. I put on his shirt that went up to my knees and was very baggy but it was warm so I didn't mind. I would never complain to getting stuff like this. He watched me and grabbed my small thin hand in his huge thick one, "Lynn what happened before I came in? Why were you crying?" Luca asked but I just looked at him slowly and shook my head. Luca sighed but nodded, accepting my right not to tell him. He pulled me gently out of the room and he pulled me downstairs. I never questioned him as he brought me into the giant main hall of the castle and I smiled. So much had changed since I had last been here. Well it had been years so it wasn't that surprising that most things changed. I was too distracted with looking around the hall to notice that Luca had pulled me into the dining hall where everyone ate at the long table. Well not the whole pack but the main people that lived in the castle. Alpha Zeek of course was at the head of the table and on either side of him was Beta Zack and Lurch. Lurch was Alpha Zeek's oldest child so of course he was sitting near the head of the table with his father. Everyone stopped talking and turned to look at me. At the table I saw other familiar faces such as Valley, Rose, Toothfull, Demon, Augustus, Blake, Alice, Tigerstar and some of Alpha Zeek's other children such as his second oldest son Clyde and his other son Ben. I bowed my head down to everyone at the table as a sign of submission. Alpha Zeek stood and instantly, Luca pushed me behind him with a low growl. Valley got up next and let out another low growl towards her Alpha/best friend.

"Zeek sit. Don't start a fight this early in the meal. Plus you start a fight with him and we'll have the whole fox species on our asses," she pointed out to Zeek. He glanced at Augustus then slowly sat back in his seat, Zack grabbing his hand gently to calm him. The brothers were always close and knew how to comfort each other. Luca stepped away from me and walked to sit beside his brother and king. Luca nudged the seat beside me and gestured for me to sit. I hesitated then slowly sat down because Luca. The table went like this; On Alpha Zeek's right he had Beta Zack, Tigerstar, Ben, Valley, Toothfull, Demon, Alice. On Alpha Zeek's left was Lurch, Rose, Clyde, Blake, Augustus, Luca and myself. The tables usually busyness was no longer there since I arrived. It was pure torturous silence. I glanced at Luca and whimpered softly but he just put his hand on mine gently. Alice must have noticed how I felt and how I blamed myself for the silence so she decided to break the silence with a very awkward question.

"Hey so Zack, how would you describe your sex life?"

Beta Zack coughed as water dripped out of his nose, having just taken a sip from his glass and was startled by the question. He hacked as Alpha Zeek rubbed his back gently, patting him. Once Beta Zack could talk, he answered shyly.

"Um I-I don't know. I...I guess normal? I don't talk about that part of my life much so I don't know how to describe it," he stuttered out, unsure of what to do. Once again, silence fell. I didn't know what to do but I know if I said or did anything, I'd probably get yelled at so I remianed quiet. The doors to the kitchen opened as the butlers came out, bringing the food for everyone. They placed the food down in front of everyone but me. I stared at the empty space in front of me and said nothing, keeping my head hanging down still. I glanced up when I saw a plate being put down and food being put on it. I looked to Luca then looked at his plate, noticing he was missing a peice of meet. I looked onto the plate in front of me and as surprised to see the piece of meet there. I grabbed my fork and poked it gently. I didn't know what type of meat it was but I was starving so I didn't care. I grabbed the knife and cut a small piece of the soaked meat and ate it. I stopped chewing when I felt the familiar taste of blood. I slowly looked around the table to see everyone normally eating the meat. I looked to Luca and he glanced down at me. He raised an eyebrow at me and swallowed his mouthful of the meat.

"Relax Lynn it's just human meat. It's not a wolf or a fox. You don't have to worry," he tried to reassure me but it didn't make a difference. I was starved but I didn't want to eat human flesh like the rest. I swallowed the food in my mouth and as if she read my mind, Valley got up and walked over beside me, taking the flesh off my plate.

"Lynn doesn't eat human flsh," she said, "he's not a ghoul like us. Here kid." she gave her potatoes and something else as she took the meat from him, taking a bite. I smiled at her softly and watched as she went to sit down. I instantly indulged myself in the potatoes and started eating the other green stuff she had left me, finding out after that it was peas. I didn't mind what it was because all I knew was that it was good. It was better than good. It was amazing. I smiled softly as I finally finished eating and felt full. I rubbed my stomach and looked to Luca with a small smile.

"I'm all done. Where do I put my plate?" I asked and as Luca was about to answer, Alpha Zeek interrupted.

"You can get up and put it in the garbage, where you belong," he said, grumbling the last part under his breath but with everyones heightened hearing, they heard. Even myself. I bowed my head down and whimpered in submission towards Alpha Zeek and it caused Luca to growl in anger at Alpha Zeek. He turned to me and grabbed my chin with his index finger and his thumb. I looked up at him in fear and sadness, scared Luca was mad at me for going into submission. Instead he shocked me by leaning in and pressing his lips to mine. I heard a couple of people gasp and my eyes widened more. He was kissing me in front of everyone. Everyone that was important. Everyone that mattered. And worst of it all, he was kissing me in front of Alpha Zeek.
