《Iris: Child of prophecy》Chapter Forty.

"Oh goddess! Luna!" I heard a voice cry out. The only thing that filled my mind was happiness in that moment that someone walked in. Help had come.
I knew I couldn't expect Malik after I chased him out the way I did, at this moment I was fine with anybody. As far as I wasn't alone it was cool.
This time I heard the foot steps charging down the steps, oh goodness for me people, yay!
"Iris? Iris! What wrong? What can I do?" I heard Aria's pleading voice. I tried to speak, to tell them to take me away, as far away as possible from this toxic magic. But the convulsions struck me even harder, my body shook and jerked and my tongue was chomped on even harder. At this stage I might actually cut it off and die.
Honestly fear gripped me, never before have I been gripped with such terror. It made me feel small and incredibly vulnerable.
"What can we do? If this continues she's going to die." Aria cried.
"Let's take her to the hospital, I'm sure doc will help" Absalom replied his voice was laced with fear for my life, well that makes two of us.
"Leila call the ambulance" he scooped me up and took me away from the bunker, I stopped seizing immediately sun touched my skin. Drawing in a large amount of air, I felt like I could finally breathe. I felt exhausted, no surprise there, my magic was working over time to keep me alive. But even now away from the mage magic, slivers of it remained in blood stream, so my magic was still working to shove it away. I couldn't move, I couldn't speak. Before long, darkness came over and o fell into deep slumber.

"Hey! Stop it!" A little girl screamed as she ran away from her attacker.
"Eos! Stop it at this moment. Father has warned you, don't disturb Selene." A blonde haired boy in a golden robe and sandals yelled at the two little girls playing by the creek.
"Helios" the smaller one whined. "Why do you always have to interrupt and put an end to our fun?" She pouted.
"Do not question me, come now, go in already. Father has asked me to watch you to while he takes care of work." Helios pressed, he raised his chin and folded his arms, as if challenging his little sisters to disobey him.
"Come now little Eos, let's go in before Helios throws a tantrum." The elder girl wrapped her arm around her younger sister and led her into the house.
"Brother, where has father gone to?" The eldest daughter asked once they were inside the house.
"Zeus has called for a meeting, father is meeting with the rest of the council." Her elder brother answered. Picking up Eos as they went further into the house.
"But what for?" The girl pressed.
"I do not know Selene, do not pester me." He scolded.
She frowned at him and mumbled something but it was inaudible.
"Read me something, brother. I fear if you don't then I won't be able to lay for my afternoon rest." Eos asked her brother.
"Fine I will, but you must sleep when I have done so." She nodded and kept calm as her brother laid her down on the scarlet satin sheets that lined her bed. Her sister got into the bed as well and laid beside her little sister as their brother walked back with a book.

"Okay, sisters once upon a time..." he began as his voice trailed of in the narration.

The light flooding into my eyes had me squinting as they fluttered open. As I got used to it I was able to take in my surroundings. This looked like... ah I see I was in a hospital room. What was that dream, who were those people? 'Eos' that name sounds familiar, I'm certain I know someone who bears the name.
But before I could place any more thought I was interrupted.
"Iris? You're awake." Aria's voice called out to me, pulling further into consciousness.
"Aria" I called out weakly "how long was I out?"
"About six hours, we were so scared. What in goddess name happened to you?" She asked as she pushed back damp stray strands of hair away from my face.
Six hours sounds about right. Groaning I struggled to sit up Aria stopped me, pressing a remote to lift the bed up so I could be sitting.
"How do you feel now? Are you okay? Shall I call the doctor?" She asked.
"I don't know, what did he say was wrong with me?" I asked skeptically.
"He said you were exposed to something that caused a violent allergic response. But he couldn't say what because he doesn't really understand you and you're magic."
"Well that's one way to put it. That doctor is a smart wolf." I gave her a weak smile.
"Where's Malik?" I asked, and by the way her expression changed, something was off.
"Aria?"
"You two got into a bad fight right?" She asked.
"Yes?" What's going on?
"He's frantic and hurt. Iris he has been beating himself up all day, at first he was mad and brooding when he came out of the bunker. But after you episode, he's really hurting" she sighed.
"He can't even bring himself to see you, he was mumbling some nonsense about failing you"
I pursed my lips. He deserves this right? Ugh, I don't know. I know I'm still angry that's a definite but... ugh you baby, Malik. Of course you'd go and throw an emotional fit.
"Can I go to him?" I asked.
Aria shook her head "doc said he's keeping you over night for observation."
"Pfft, I don't need observation." I humped "I'm a witch for crying out loud with a gift to heal. I'm sure I'm fine." I said as I got out of bed, snatching out the needle in my hand.
I was wrong, I was not fine.
As soon as my feet touched the ground, I collapsed and started to seize again. Great just great.

"Eos don't cry" Helios grabbed his sisters forearm and pulled her to him, hugging her closely. It was quite obvious the too were very close. "I love you and this isn't goodbye forever. Okay?" She sniffled nodding against his chest.
"Can't you stay one more day?" She asked softly.
"You know I can't Eos. Be good now, be keep that mischievous side of you it's you're distinction. Try not to fight with Selene" he tapped her head, holding her against his chest.
"But she's at fault sometimes, always goading me." Eos whined.
"I know, I know everything. Don't I believe you." He soothed his sister.
"But father doesn't."
"Father is old and busy, but he loves you as do I and even Selene. We all love you okay. No be the better person and mend your relationship with your sister. Do that for me?" He asked with brows raised.

She gave him a small smile.
"I love you Helios. I am going to miss you dearly." She said.
"As am I. Now I'll be on my way before father discovers I am still here." He smiled.
Eos watched as her brother left, with tears spilling from her eyes she straightened her posture and raised her chin. She was going to make Helios proud, she was.

"Father I cannot marry Herna. I do not love him and he has made wicked promises concerning our future." A beautiful white haired woman shook her head fervently as she spoke to the aged similarly white haired man sitting a few feet from her.
"Love isn't necessary Selene. This is merely political. You need not be faithful to him if you don't want to." Her father affirmed.
"But father, I couldn't. Please do not force me into this. It's not in our best interest and I am very unhappy." She cried.
"This is you duty, now rest the topic Selene. You shall marry." He said standing.
"Herna and his father Poseidon are planning a power grab father. I wasn't going to tell you this because it's a serious accusation and I'm just a powerless female" she rambled out.
"Selene, that's a serious accusation, you know the consequences of accusing one of the three rulers" he stated firmly.
Selene nodded "that's why I didn't want to mention it. I overheard Poseidon, Herna and some of his other sons speaking of a play to get the supreme power from Zeus."
"Come with me, we mustn't discuss this in the open like this." Her father led her away from the drawing room into his study and shut the doors to prevent prying ears.

"Ugh" I groaned. This magic has messed me up real bad. The room was empty as far as I could tell and I was eager to get out of the bed. It's been a while that much I know and I can't afford to be incapacitated right now, not with us in the witches sight. My head thronged slightly as my feet touched the ground but the worst had past. So far as I could tell my magic had healed most part of my body.
The floor was cold beneath my feet and I was in a goddess awful hospital gowns. Who ever invented this? I grabbed the pole my IV bag was attached to, until I saw it was already drained. Stripping off the pads that kept track of my heartbeat and removing the needle I began to walk out of the room.
But before my sluggish feet reached the door, two nurses charged in
"Luna!" The brunette exclaimed "you can't be standing like that."
I frowned "and why not?"
"You're not strong enough yet, doc said to keep you here another day." The second one answered while the first bopped her head in agreement.
"Who are you to tell me if I'm strong enough? And if you haven't noticed I don't really have the leisure to be resting. So if you don't mind." I gestured at them to move out of my way.
They just stood there blinking.
"Are you dumb? Excuse me." No response whatsoever. I began to doubt if 'doc' had given the order or someone else, someone with more authority than a Luna. Damn you Malik.
"Did the Alpha make you do this?" I asked. The brunettes eyes widened for a split second, if not that I was so sure of it, it might not even have happened.
"What are you saying Luna? We just told you the doctor hasn't permitted you release." The other spoke "or by chance are you still hallucinating?"
Hallucinating? Did I hallucinate? Was I talking in my unconscious state? No, no that can't happen when I have dreams like that it may look as if I'm even dead. So what did she mean by hallucinating? Wait a minute... this bitch!
"What do you mean by that?" I asked her, goading her to say what I wanted to hear.
"Well... you might not be in your right mind, after all you went through quite an episode..." after that I stopped hearing her voice. It was as if I was frozen, I could only see her mouth moving and an arm leading me back to my bed.
Then I snapped.
I grabbed her hand with my other arm and twisted it behind her back, I didn't stop until I heard a crack, she was taller than me by a few inches but I could still reach her ears.
"Never ever call a witch crazy." I spat in her ears and pushed her away. She went straight through the door, the force of my pushed shattering the door leaving splinters hanging by the wall.
After everything I had gone through today, I needed an outlet and this unfortunate fools just happened to be them.
The other nurse turned and ran out of the room, I smirked this was going to be fun.
In a blink I appeared in front of her as she screamed into a halt. "Too slow" I grinned as I grabbed her hair and smashed her head into the wall, over and over until the wall was covered in blood. I let her go falling in a heap as the other wolf started to come to.
Goodie, took her long enough.
"Luna, Luna please, I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you, please!" She cried as I walked towards her, like a predator pouncing on their prey.
I picked her off the ground squeezing her neck as her feet left the ground. She grabbed my hands, clasping at it. I slammed her into the ground. Pushing her body with so much force it create a human dent in the ground.
She gasped in pain as she coughed out blood.
"I suggest you tell who ever gave you that order, that he can go to hell. And better spread the word the next person that calls me crazy, won't be breathing for long. The only reason I'm letting you and that other crap of meat live is because of you die I'll feel it. So make no mistakes next time, I'm not an ordinary wolf and I don't fuck with you." I hissed as I stepped over her and walked towards the door.
Nobody calls a witch crazy, nobody.
