I slept in the next day, we both did. After the night we had it was only natural. But by the time I woke up Malik was no longer beside me. Before i could stop my self groaned.

Calm down Iris. I'll be back soon.

His voice filled my mind. Arrogant much.

I could care less. I replied back.

He chuckled, are you sure? I'm getting real kitty vibes from you, who knew your wolf was this clingy.

Get out off my head!

I blocked him out and made my way to the bathroom. We were still staying in the smaller room on the second floor. Yet again the master bedroom was under construction. I'm sure the wolves in charge of building we fed up. After last night there where two car sized holes beside the two walls. Yeah that's what happens when the Alpha and Luna are not mentally stable. Wait did I just refer to myself as Luna? What us wrong with me?

I touched the mark on my neck again, the scar was there this time. This stupid mark is making me needy it's annoying.

I showered got ready and came down stairs to find something. The pack house was unnaturally quiet and empty, I checked the wall clock, 11:38. I guess they must be training then. And now am all alone in this big house it made me miss Malik ugh! I couldn't even stand him now I miss him? No wonder mother said mate bonds made us weak. I am acting like a teenager a very annoying one.

"Luna" a voice I did not recognize called out from behind me. I turned to see a blonde haired she-wolf, she bowed slightly and barred her neck. I nodded. "I'll make you food" she said walking past me to the kitchen.

"Where's Madam louise?" I asked behind her. "Oh she not feeling very well so she sent me here instead "

"And you are?"

"Every" she replied. I nodded.

"And do you know where the Alpha is?"

"Oh he is meeting with the elders and other ranked wolves"

"And where is that exactly"

"Oh that's kind of a secret"

My brows went up and I became so curious. "A secret meaning you can't tell me?"

She looked away then back at me. "Yes Luna I'm pretty sure that's what a secret means" ooh I like her.

"But I'm the Luna now so I think I have the right to know" I folded my arms and glared at her. She smiled.

"That's is even more reason"

I chuckled looking away briefly then glaring back at her. "What the hell do you think your doing?".

"Following orders." She stated matter of factly.

"Did Malik tell you to do this?"

"Do what?" She smiled. Ooh this bitch.

"Keep this secret."

"No" she shook her head.

"So? What are you doing?"

"Following orders" she repeated again.

"Whose orders?!" I yelled.

"Mothers" immediately that word came out of her mouth I froze. Suddenly it came to me she was a witch. Her face changed and I finally recognized her. I stepped back, summoning fire balls in my hands.

"Rosemary" I breathed.

"Yes sister?" The blonde melted away and the blinding red that I remembered came back.

"What the hell is this? What are you doing here?"

"What do you mean what am I doing here? I'm visiting my sister. But I must say Iris, you haven't changed a bit. Still so jumpy huh?" She smiled. Now that didn't look right. Suddenly she frowned "but this isn't how sisters are supposed to greet each other now is it?"

I threw the fire ball at her, she quenched it.

"I was hoping we could talk first but it seems we'll have to multitask" She quickly formed a fire ball as well and threw it at me, I stopped it with the one I was holding. She casted a spell the same moment I did and it just scattered in the middle. She laughed,"doesn't this bring back memories Iris?"

"Memories I wish I never lived" I spat back. She gasped "you didn't "

I smiled "yes I did" I summoned a dagger and shot it in her direction she moved to dodge but it slashed the side of her shoulder.

She gasped ran towards me her hands glowing aiming for my neck. She was so fast it was a surprise I managed to dodge and side step her kicking her legs to throw her off balance she evaded me.

If I remembered right, she was good at combat. But I was faster at casting. Being so close to her was absolute no no.

"Umphhh" I gasped as my back landed on the hard floor. She stood looking down at me. She brought her foot down to step on my neck but I rolled away in time.

"Pathetic, seems love has made you weak. Your back never touched or training mat before."

I stood up and looked at her smiling "oh yeah, well so has yours" I pulled on the shadow I laid under her foot as she raised it, and she tumbled down. Ha! Shadow spells were always the answer.

"Back to your old tricks again huh?"

"What can I say, we witches never really change do we?" I shrugged.

She was back up again. "You don't have the right to identify yourself with the west anymore, after all the betrayal, all the pain you put mother through. You are a witch all right but not a west witch."

I got angry, this entitled bitches. "My Rose, did old age dampen your hearing by chance? I never said I was a west witch. Because I never was and never will be."

"I was hoping you'd say that. At least now I have justification for killing you." She snarled, her canines dropping.

"Oh my, I'd love to see you try" we both ran towards each other with drawn swords, and I'll have to admit it took me back.

"Oooooww" I cried as I hit a tree, I struggled to stand my bones were definitely broken.

"Give up already, there is no more hope" Rose walked towards me holding a very big branch. My braids already loosening. I struggled to stay standing, maybe if I could just win, mother wouldn't whip me this night. That has to be the reason for the constant punishments. I feel my bones already shifting back into place.

"No" I whispered.

"What? You have a death wish don't you" I could see my other sisters giving me disbelieving looks, I knew what they were thinking, why wouldn't she just quit already? What is she trying to achieve? Or she just vying for mother's attention.

Either way I couldn't care less. If they were in my shoes they'll understand. If only they knew the constant torture, your own mother telling you your not good for anything. I'll admit I am the runt of the litter, but not today. Today if I win maybe, just maybe. I'll bear the pain and heal. I couldn't die anyway, I have to be stronger. Keep in mind, no matter how painful you'll still always heal Iris.

I stood up and straightened my back, snapping all the bones back to place. Biting down on my lips to stop the scream.

I hurled myself back at her and we fought, winning and losing. It was like that until mother came.

"Stop both of you, it's pointless. Neither of you is going to win anyway!" She commanded us. We stood breathing and staring at each other.

"Iris " I stiffened "come meet me, after dinner" I was cautious, not again.

"But mother, what about me?" Rose whined.

She just kept walking away ignoring her.

She glared at me and stomped away.
