We'll hate what we've lost but we'll love what we find.

The three days that I had to stay in the hospital after waking up were absolute torture. I wasn't on suicidal watch, but Dr. Henceforth had to close up the holes he cut in my skin to stick those tubes through; which absolutely hurt as he stitched them up. The first two days I spent doing the homework that I had to complete for Monday and Tuesday, but besides that nothing else. Dad would come during his lunch break give me a hamburger he snook in since the hospital food here is terrible. After we both ate we would talk about random things until he had to leave again. He came today but it's already been three hours and this day couldn't end faster. To top it all off Graham dropped my phone in the mini sink I have, destroying it completely. I was a little disappointed that I lost the photos inside of Graham, Sarah and I, but Luke's friend Miranda managed to save them, which I am internally grateful for.
I would be allowed to go home around midnight, at least that's what Dr. Henceforth had told me. Thankfully I had all those cards that Luke had made me. Yesterday Sarah had burst out laughing after I thanked her for them, and after seeing my confused face she told me it was all Luke. I carefully stood up from the bed and took a few down before sitting back down, looking at the first one.
Open when you're bored.
I lifted the flap and pulled out whatever was inside, which happened to be a letter.
Alright, I was sort of hoping you didn't pick this one because to be honest I'm a pretty boring person and I had no idea what to write, but then it struck me. I am going to give you three simple steps to end your boredom.
Make sure the door is closed.
I looked up from the letter and looked at the closed door before reading the next step.
Grab the box from under the bed and open it.
Box? I furrowed my eyebrows and slowly got off the bed, getting on my knees to look under it. Right there was a gray shoe box. I reached for it and pulled it out, taking it with me back to the bed and opening it. There were a lot of things inside; candy, tissues, a rubix cube, a pair of earphones, and a tablet.
The tablet has Netflix on it. It's already logged in and all you have to do is watch whatever you want. There are even some addicting games on it so beware. Don't say I didn't warn you. P.S- The tissues are there in case you watch a sad movie.
I let out a laugh and put the box away, leaving out the tablet. Maybe this isn't so bad.

"I have never been happier in my life to see my bed." I stated as Sarah and I walked in my room. Finally midnight reached, and I was released. "You've been on a bed for three days and you're still tired?" Sarah asked. I laughed and laid down carefully since I had to make sure the stitches didn't open.

"Those beds are uncomfortable though. No padding whatsoever." I let out a groan as my head it the pillow. Oh how I missed my pillow.
"Dang, trapped in a building with nothing to do. That must've sucked." Sarah gave me a sympathetic look and I laughed. "No actually. Thanks to Luke I stepped up my binge watching on Netflix." Sarah gasped and soon let out a grin. "See those are goals right there. If him giving you his Netflix account doesn't say anything then I don't what will."
I rolled my eyes with a soft chuckled before letting out a sigh. "I want Graham." I said. When I was released Dr. Henceforth said I couldn't carry Graham or do any strenuous activities until my stitches were removed, since any weight on me could tear them open. That meant I couldn't breast feed Graham, bathe him, put him to sleep, or splay with him for two weeks. Needless to say I was angry when I heard those news. Three days without my baby? I managed to stay sane, but fourteen days more? Heck to the no.
"I know these two weeks are gonna be hard but you can at least watch him. He can play in front of you with his toys." I nodded slowly and let out a yawn. "Those pain killers are kicking in." I said mid-yawn. Sarah stood up and started to leave. "Well I'll let you to it. Sleep tight." With that she left and I drifted off to sleep.

"I don't understand why we had to go shopping. I could've just gotten a dress from my closet Sarah." She scoffed as we looked around the store. "Maggie, this is your very first day with Luke Banfield. You have to leave him breathless the second he lays his eyes on you." I huffed as she continued looking for a dress. The week passed by pretty quick and now it was Thursday, the day before the work part Luke invited me to. Sarah insists it's a date, and even though I know it is something in me is denying it. Right now I had other things to be excited for. I've been counting down the days and now there's only nine days left before I can hold Graham again and start my normal routine with him again.
"Here, try these on and see if you like any. Show me all of them." She warned. I nodded and grabbed the stack of clothes she gave me, heading towards the fitting rooms. The first dress was navy blue with a classic sweetheart neckline, gold fabric outlining it. It stopped right above my knee caps and flowed out slightly from my waist to the end. I frowned as I looked at myself in the mirror. It was pretty, but I didn't think it was fit for the dinner party. Luke had told me it was tux and gown formal.
I walked out of the fitting room towards Sarah and modeled the dress for her, which basically consisted of me giving a slow turn so she could see the whole thing. She shook her head and told me to forget about the pile she had given me, heading towards longer dresses. I was silently hoping it wasn't too long, 'cause knowing myself I would definitely trip at one point. Ha, that would not be good at all.

I let out a fifth sigh in this minute just as Sarah came back empty handed. "There isn't anything here. Let's go home and see if I have anything." I nodded my head eagerly, happy to leave this place we've been hours in and go home to see Graham. Not being able to have him with me resting on my hip is so weird. I've grown so used to it that it's strange not having him for so long.
—————
"Oh my God there's nothing for you to wear!" I looked up from the stuffed lion I had in my hand while playing with Graham to see Sarah surrounded in a pile of around fifty gowns. I quirked an eyebrow and gestured at all the dresses. "You're surrounded by all those gowns, I can just wear one of those, it's no big deal." She huffed and stood up, starting to put the gowns back in her closet one by one.
"But none of these are good enough, and it is a big deal. Maggie, for the first time in forever- excuse that Frozen quote- you're going out on a date. You haven't went out on a date since you told mom and dad you were pregnant. This is more than a big deal. This is where you get to relax and spend a night in a beautiful dress with a British hunk of cheese. Don't take this for granted, this only happens in clichés, and right now we need a dress that looks great on you." I stayed silent for a few seconds after her speech and sighed. "Fine, what color dress should I wear?" Sarah smirked and placed her hands on her hips.
"The best color in the world is the one that looks good on you." I laughed and stood up slowly, about to grab Graham until Sarah smacked my hands and got him herself. "What Disney movie did you get that quote from?" I teased.
"Actually that was Coco Chanel." She winked with a grin just as mom walked in Sarah's room with a curious expression. "Did I hear the word 'dress'?" She asked. Sarah sighed and nodded her head.
"Luke invited Maggie to be his date to this formal dinner and we need a dress. We went to the mall to come up empty handed." As she heard this a grin appeared on mom's face. "Oh my goodness follow me girls." Sarah and I looked at each other as she left the room before walking out behind her to our parent's room. She made us sit on her bed as she went into her closet and a few seconds later she emerged with a dress on a hanger, but we couldn't see it since it was covered in one of those protective bag thingies I don't know the name of.
"I wore this dress on a themed cruise your father and I went to a few years back. I'm positive it'll fit you and I got all the perfect stuff to go with it." She slowly unzipped the jacket , building up the anticipation-which was coming from Sarah since I was focusing on Graham- and finally revealed the dress.
I'm going to be honest, I haven't been taking this seriously since I've been focusing on trying to find ways to pick up Graham secretly and take care of him on my own, but when I saw the dress I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped lower than Sarah's. "Holy s-"
Sarah refrained herself from letting out a profanity when my mom shot her a glare and quickly changed it.
"-upercalifragilisticexpealidocious. That dress is gorgeous!" I let out a laugh at her choice of word and nodded my head in agreement. "Mom that dress is outstanding. I can't wear it though, it's yours and I honestly don't deserve it." She scoffed and gave me the dress. "Maggie you will wear this dress and Sarah and I will make you look so gorgeous Lucas will feel insecure. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go set up an appointment at the beauty salon for you. You've played the Cinderella being a maid part but you up still have yet to arrive at the ball." Sarah giggled but stopped short when she saw the look I shot her. She shrugged and gave me a smirk.
"You know it's true." She stated. Just then Graham started to laugh, and I swear he was looking at me with a teasing look. Traitor.
"See? Even Graham agrees. So don't you worry your pretty little mind. People throw rocks at things that-"
"Okay that's enough quoting for one day Sarah." I said, abruptly, cutting her off. She pouted before leaving the room, mentioning something about needing to look through Pinterest for something important. I turned to face my mom and smiled. "Thank you mom." She engulfed in a hug and squeezed my shoulders as she pulled away awhile after. "You deserve it, and it's the least I could do for you after everything. I never really congratulated you for your hard work." I blinked back the tears teasing my eyes and let out a breath of relief.
Things are starting to go back the way they were between my parents and I.

The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
