-Sarah-

I sat by Miranda the whole time, bouncing my leg up and down as she typed on her laptop, opening many windows on it. She's been doing that for exactly two or three hours, and my mom has been asking the same exact question. "So, you're sure what you're doing is legal?" She looked uneasy and I sighed.

"Mom, she's trying to find whoever sent that message to Luke. She's practically helping Maggie. I doubt it's illegal." Of course I knew it was illegal, but I needed to calm my mom down. Besides, I wanna know who the person who tried to kill Maggie is. I already ordered a grave at the cemetery. Miranda nodded slowly, not paying attention to anything but the screen. "Yeah, yeah. It's legal." She said to no one in particular. Mom nodded and sat back in her chair, leaning against dad's shoulder. He was holding Graham on his lap and staring warily at Luke, who was sitting on a chair close to Maggie, stroking her hair and holding her hand.

I can't even. Half of my phone gallery is of them right now. "At least two percent of it is." Miranda muttered. Unfortunately, mom heard and widened her eyes. "W-what?! No, stop that right now. Let's just leave this to the police and that way no one will get in trouble!" She protested, getting ready to stand up. Miranda let out a sigh and looked up at my mom, her fingers were still typing rapidly. This chick has skill.

"Mrs. Brown, with all due respect, the police will take more than six days to get information, and the first three will consist of cracking typical cop jokes with a donut in one hand and coffee in the other. That's not just some joke people make about them, I've seen it myself. Don't ask how. I just need five more minutes and I'll be able to see who exactly threatened your daughter and tried to harm her. This is Maggie's life on the line, and if we don't find this person now then who knows what will happen next?"

Mom bot her lip and slowly sat back on the chair, once again resting against dad's shoulder. "I send those donuts to the police station every week." She muttered to herself with a frown. I ignored her comment and looked at Miranda. "I've never seen anyone convince her so fast. As well as type so fast." I said. Miranda smirked and went back to her laptop. "Thanks. I'm like Spencer Reed and Penelope in one. Except Penelope would've gotten this faster than me. Whoever this person is knows how to cover up his or her tracks." I nodded my head and looked at Luke and Maggie.

"He's the only person that didn't look at Maggie differently after he found out about her life story. Everyone else at school treats her terribly." I stated. Miranda glanced up at Luke and smiled before turning her eyes back to the computer. "Back in Baths when we were younger, he had changed so many people's lives by giving them new perspectives. He never liked judging people. One time he had told me, 'If I'm not a jury, then I have absolutely no right to judge others'. That actually helped me more than anyone could imagine." I quirked an eyebrow and glanced back at Luke.

"I can actually imagine him saying that. Maggie was sort of whizzed out when he didn't turn his back on her. It's always been a revolving door of undeserved hatred towards her. How did you two become friends?" Miranda smiled instantly as if she were remembering something. "Besides our families being really close, I was actually one of the people he helped." I looked at her in surprise, but let her continue.

"I used to be bullied since middle school because of my body. Back in Baths having a thigh gap meant being one of the next top models. Every time I entered school people would pinch me, commenting on how much skin I had. They even had a new name for me, floppy Miranda. I ended up having an eating disorder. I ate less, had constant restless nights 'cause all that I saw when I closed my eyes was those people and their evil grins as the laughed at me. And I would start pinching at my own body, also known as Excoriation disorder. They even diagnosed me with Anxiety."

"Anyways, it was Luke who found out that I was hurting myself. I was standing in front of the mirror in my room and was spending the whole day in there with some shorts and a tank top, just staring at my body. I was so mad at myself for not being able to be like all the other girls, and if it weren't for Luke coming over and barging in my room I doubt I would've been here. He took one look at me, but instead of freaking out, he did something complete different which helped me so much." Miranda blinked backed the tears forming in her eyes and took a deep breath.

"He closed the door behind him, walked up to me and engulfed me in a gentle hug. Then he said, "The prettiest angels hurt the most." Those words hit me so hard I broke down crying and he never left, he never freaked out. He just stayed silent and hugged me until I calmed down, and once I did, he went downstairs with me while holding my hand tightly as I told my parents about everything that was happening."

I looked at Luke, completely shocked to hear Miranda's Story. Right now just by looking at her, you wouldn't even tell she went through this. "He did that?" I asked. Miranda nodded her head. I noticed she had stopped typing as she told me the story. "Yep. My parents were devastated to hear what I was doing to myself and at first they sent me to multiple therapy sessions; it helped a little, but the bullying continued. That is until Luke and my brother knocked some sense into everyone. They went around putting posters about putting an end to the bullying, and they actually put pictures of me everyone's locker with a small note that read, 'You aren't just judging her, you're also hurting her'. Unfortunately, at first the bullying got worse, but it was the effort that counted. I still had the urge to pick at my skin, but then Luke came up with hacking. We were watching Criminal Minds and I had told him I wanted to be like Penelope. He jump of from the couch with a huge grin and started dancing around as if he won the lottery and suggested I learn how to do computer stuff."

"Eventually I learned what I know now, and when I type or hack into things I forget about picking on myself. Not all of it is legal, but at least I'm not hurting myself. The bullying stopped after awhile, and I won the student of the year award for standing strong. Everyone's actually nice to me now, and through everything, Luke was the one who stood by my side. For that I'm forever grateful to him, and I've been waiting for him to find the happiness he deserves ever since Thalia." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Thalia?" Miranda bit her lip and looked at the laptop before she started typing again. "Sorry, I wasn't supposed to mention that." She stopped typing as something dawned on her. "Wait, I think I know who hurt Maggie." I widened my eyes and sat up straight. Miranda sighed and faced me. "What's the name of that girl behind the trash website they made to spread rumors about Maggie?" I widened my eyes and looked at Maggie. That little drama wannabe queen. "Saskia. Saskia Noonan."

-Secret POV-

I internally groaned as I sat in dinner while my parents talked about work with their friends. They always have guest over for dinner every Saturday and nothing interesting happens. But this time, I was surprised. As I picked on my dinner with my fork my dad's words caught my ears. "-they think it was a suicidal attempt, but her sister says she wouldn't do anything like that because she's never thought of going that low. The girl was found unconscious in her bathtub, and he worst part is that she has a baby. A teenage girl with a baby and unsupportive parents? We're more than sure it was a suicidal attempt. Teens these days don't want to take responsibility for their actions. It's a shame really." My mom frown and shook her head disapprovingly.

"What did you say her name was honey?" She asked. Dad squinted his eyes as he tried to remember. "Mary Brown I think." I widened my eyes and spoke up before I could even stop myself. "Do you mean Maggie Brown?" I asked curiously. Dad brightened up and nodded. "Yes! That's it." Mom gasped and looked at me.

"Sweetheart, doesn't she go to your school?" I nodded my head and took a sip of my drink, finally interested. "Oh yes mama. Daddy, she's actually a good friend of mine. What room number was she in? I really want to see her." I said, putting on a concerned expression. Dad sighed and shook his head. "I wasn't informed, but I'll let you know tomorrow while I'm over there." I smiled sweetly at him and slowly stood up, excusing myself from the table politely. "I have homework to finish. Can't leave it for last minute." Mom smiled and started bragging my straight A's report card to her friends as I went upstairs and pulled out my phone, sending a text.

Our little miss Maggie is in the hospital. Perhaps we should pay her a visit?

-Luke-

"Luke, I think we know who it is." Miranda called out. I immediately shot up from my spot besides Maggie and walked towards Miranda and Sarah. "Who?" Before Miranda got a chance to speak Sarah, who looked angry might I add, bolted from her seat and grabbed her car keys. "Our damn cousin that's who. I'm about to kill her."

"What? Who's your cousin?" I asked. Sarah's mom stood up with a shocked expression. "What do you mean? You think Saskia did this?" I widened my eyes and looked at Sarah. "Saskia is your cousin? Saskia Noonan?" Sarah nodded her head sternly.

"Yeah, from my mom's side. She was the one who put up that website while threatening Maggie and-"

"Website? What website are you talking about?" Sarah's mom interrupted. Sarah let out a groan and grabbed her bag. "I'll explain later. Right now I need to go put a relative in the hospital." Well that's a normal everyday sentence.

"Wait, why would Saskia do this?" I looked at Sarah's mom and sighed.

"Mrs. Brown, with all due respect, have you met your niece? She's completely rude and it disgusts me. She's been giving threats to Maggie, she put up a crude website about her, and heck, she's even the one influencing the bullying at the school. If she isn't the one behind this then I have no idea who is." Just on time two men in police uniforms came walking in behind a Dr. Henceforth.

"Guys, this is Officer Gronkowski and Officer Hawkins. They'll be-"

"We already know who did it." Sarah interrupted. The cops faced her with curious expressions. "We're gonna have to ask each of you questions then about the person. If you would just come with me, and Officer Gronkowski will be speaking with the boy." I walked towards the shirt cop as Sarah walked away with the even shorter cop.

"You're Luke Banfield, am I correct? I was told you recently started going to school with Maggie." I nodded my head. "Yes sir, and there's a very high chance that all this was her cousin's doing. She goes to school with us and by what I've seen she isn't so innocent." Officer Gronkowski nodded before gesturing for me to follow him out into the hall. "Alright, well I'm going to ask you a few questions before we dig into this situation more. Let's begin with the first one. What exactly is Maggie being harassed about in school?" I rubbed the ache I had on my neck as I answered.

"Her son Graham."

And that's when the investigation started.
