Alex and I made it to

the school, Prom was being held in the gym.

When we arrived at the gym it was, completely transferred into something new, I couldn't even recognize it. This years' theme was,

'A Midnight Summer Dream' basically, it was similar to a romantic date in the summer, there were roses, fairy lights, and even the food was served in picnic baskets! all in all, I loved it, I could tell it would be a night to remember.

"This is beautiful, Alex." I turn to him smiling, he was already looking at me with the cutest smile, dimples and all.

"Not as beautiful as you, Bec."

I blush, he so cliche sometimes it's not even funny.

"Stop, one day I'll explode cheese from all your cheesiness."

He laughs which is music to my ears. "Only you love, only you."

"So shall we enjoy our prom?"

"You bet."

I was stuffing my face with, the delicious food they have here, while Alex is talking to his buddies, Carmen is dancing with her date, Elliot.

I was having a good time so far, I couldn't believe graduation was only two weeks away, I was going to miss Carmen we were going to be so far apart.

At least I would have Alex close by. I try not to think about that to much seeing as Bethany Marsh heads towards me smirk on her face, you see Bethany and I haven't had any encounters, since Alex told her off, she was mortified.

But I had a feeling that would change now. She finally approaches me and I have to say she looks good, if she was attending a strip club might I add. "Alex tired of you yet?"

She smiles sweetly a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Nope." I reply bluntly, stuffing my face with the heavenly cupcakes.

"He will if you keep eating like that." She retorts looking at my cupcake in disgust, how dare she? This cake is the best thing I've ever tasted.

"Your so shallow, Bethany." I glare at her.

"Oh. So you grew a backbone, huh?"

"I've always had one, Bethany."

"Nice to know." She smirks.

"What do you want? Some of us are trying to enjoy our prom here."

"I was just going to let you know-" She starts.

"Is there a problem here?" Alex cuts here off, putting a hand around my waist.

"Wouldn't you like to know, knight in shining armor." She sneers, usually she would bat her eyelashes and try to bed Alex, but ever since he embarrassed her the hatred he had for her turned mutual.

"No, I'm not interested in your BS Bethany." He says taking my hand leading me away from Satan's spawn. I stifle a laugh at her expression.

"May I have this dance, love?"

Alex grins faking a British accent. I giggle at his cuteness, "You may." I take his hand, and we dance a medium pace song plays and it completely makes me smile, it's a little old but I love the song,

t didn't really match the pace we were dancing at, but what the hell?

We were together weren't we? I love this man, with all my heart, we've been through a lot but we were still together which is the only thing that matters, and I couldn't wait to see what else life takes me too, with him.

"Hey, Alex?"

"Yeah, Bec?"

"I love you."

"Aw, I love me too."

I take that back I was afraid to see where life takes me with this man child. But to the hell with it! We were together and that's all that matters most.
