The feeling of being on top of the world was amazing, there's this rush like adrenaline but better, I like to call it but you probably guessed that huh?
Alex made me fall for him, I still fall for him more everyday. Being in Paris with him was amazing, anything you could ever ask for.
**
''I can't believe in less than five minutes, we'll be on top of the Effiel tower, Alex pinch me.''
I felt a sharp pain on my arm.
''Ow.'' I hissed glaring at him.
''What? You told me to pinch you, what kind of guy would I be not to listen to my girlfriend?''
I pout, ''I didn't expect it to hurt.''
He grins, ''Lucky you have me to kiss it better.''
With that he kissed my arm. I look away out of the tour bus we were on, to see The Effiel Tower.
It was better then expected it, was beautiful, Since I was a little girl I've wanted to visit The Effiel Tower, I've spent years looking at pictures, being obsessed with Paris themed items but nothing could compare to what it was like to experience it first hand; and with the love of my life, I couldn't even comprehend what was happening, My dreams came true.
**
''Alex, one more picture.'' I grin watching him roll his eyes as he poses cheekily for the picture.
We were on top of the tower, enjoying the view it was amazing, I've never seen anything more beautiful, well Alex's face, but nobody has to know that, it'd make his head bigger then it already was.
We canceled our plans to the bridge to seal our locks, because they banned people from doing that, because of the weight of them was too much to handle.

So we decided to go another day, seeing as we had three more days left. The point is, it was going great, it really was until I seen
There was no doubt about it, I was the sporting image of him, much to my dismay, We seen him at a restaurant, and to add more fuel to the fire, he was with a woman.
I don't know what'll hurt my mom more, knowing that he left his kids and wife, to start over, or the fact that he seems... happy about it.
He laughed and joked around. I couldn't stand it when he kissed her, has he even been through a divorce with Mom?
It's sickening, I felt the tears in my eyes and I heard Alex's voice, just failed to comprehend what he was saying.
I thought he loved my mother, loved Ashton, loved me, loved our family.
Guess not if he left to start a life with a girl half his age.
''Bec, love what's wrong.'' Alex asks, shaking my shoulders.
I shake my head a bitter laugh rising in my throat. ''Devil's reincarnate, over there is hitting it up with a girl half his age.''
He looked over in his direction, then back to me, then back to him, he did this a few times and it would've been cute, if not in this situation.
"Holy shit, that's him?''
I nodded tears forming, in my eyes. ''Love, I'm sorry you had to see this.''
He says kissing my tears, gripping my hand tightly.
''It's not your fault,'' I said holding his hand like my life depended on it.
"Let's get out of here.'' He says standing up, I pull him back down.
''No, I want to talk to him find out why he left.'' I say walking towards his table, when Alex pulls me back.

"I don't think that's a good idea.''
''Does it look like I care.''
I snapped instantly I regretted it.
I shouldn't vent my anger on him, he was trying to help.
''Alex I'm-''
''I get it, I really do.'' He cuts me off.
I watched as he takes a few steps back, ''I'll be at the hotel, if you need anything call me.''
He says and I cry again, I shouldn't have snapped at him, I'm so stupid, I didn't need my father I just wanted closure, answers.
That's what I was going to get.
**
I waited till he left, to go after him, I was going to bump into him, he would see me, then I would act like I did when I first saw him.
He was on his way out of the door, I followed and bumped into him. ''I'm sorry-''
He halted as he saw my face.
''Rebecca?'' He frowned.
I glared at him. ''You. The cowardly asshole who left.''
''I guess I deserved that, but there's more to it.''
''Damn right.'' I bark.
I can't get over the fact that he left, why though?
''How's Ashton? Did your mom, you know..''
He trailed off looking awkward.
''Did she what?'' I ask flatly.
''Make it?''
Oh the nerve, of this guy. He thought Mom, didn't make it.
Well, she did.
"Mom beat Cancer, she's alive and well, if you doubted her.''
I look at him frown on my face.
"Oh. Listen we need to talk do you think you could meet me, somewhere tomorrow?''
I thought about it, I need answers. So I looked him in the eyes.
''Sure, same place, five in the afternoon sharp.''
I say walking to the hotel.
**
''Alex, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to snap at you like that.'' I say watching him, lay on the bed.
''It's ok." He says not looking at me, but at the book he's reading, which was upside down.
He's so adorable.
"But why do I feel like it's not.'' I whine going over and flipping his book up right, he blushes on how his book was upside down, knowing I caught on to him.
''I don't know.'' He says, flippant.
''Alex I'm sorry, I just seen him and it's like this switch gone off into me, demanding answers, he left a dying mother, with little financial support and two kids.''
I whispered feeling tears strike my face I cried thrice, it was getting hectic.
"I never knew you felt that way, I'm sorry.'' Alex says pulling me to his chest, I lay silent for a few moments.
''It's okay.''
''But it's not, I overreacted. I left you alone.''
''I snapped at you, I'd leave me too.'' I mumble wiping away my tears.
''Don't say that love, I was stupid.'' I look at him, his blue eyes shining with hurt, I run my fingers through his hair.
''Let's forget about it, we both said some things, but in the end I love you. You love me, we're okay.''
''Okay.'' He mumbled kissing my hair.
Only my dad and I was a different story when it came to reconciliation.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

Creativity is power. Creation is power. Arax is empty, he has no personal attribute and his parents have left him out in the dark. By day he suffers through a mid-level university trying to convert people into Masters but it's given him no luck, nothing will stick. His only momentary joy is the games of Harshings that he plays every night with the members of the Armament Club, ten of the highest level Harshings players of all-time, Arax is the only one under three-hundred years old. Anyways, after a harsh game of Harshings (pun intended) one of the members of the club contacts him with a solution to his emptiness problem, Mimir's Well. Anyways, this story is about God's and creativity and bonkers off the wall (expletive) and rituals and God's and sex jokes. I probably got inspired by like all of the mythos stories that have been popping up on here. It's in a VERY rough form because I've just been getting back into writing. I've written like fifty thousand words already so I guess have fun.
