"Why were you so rude? He is the hottest guy in school?!"

Carmen said while wiping my face free of trash.

I scoffed.

"Why should I be nice to him when he walks up in my bubble of space and pops it by getting in my business?"

Carmen laughed.

"You have a great way of wording things Bec."

She drawled out sarcastically.

I laughed, "Shut up."

"It's true though, he was only trying to help you from Megan and you pushed him away, you've got to stop pushing people away when they want to help you."

I just knew there was a double meaning to her words.

"Okay Carmen."

I sighed wiping my face once more, that Megan girl is really getting on my nerves.

"Okay let's get to class."

Carmen said getting up from the bathroom countertop. I nodded walking out the door with her.

We walked down the corridors of the school and I noticed something, people were giving me more than a first glance, it wasn't a good thing, girls glared giving me once overs, others whispered things in each other's ears and laughed looking at me from head to toe.

I began shaking and Carmen noticed, so she gripped my hand and picked up the pace not before I heard people say,

What does he see in her, ugh.

She is so ugly and pathetic.

She needs to do everyone a favor and disappear.

I couldn't take it any more. Why were people talking about me?

I need to get out of here right now.

I yanked my hand out of Carmen's and ran, as fast as my legs would take me, away from everyone, out of the school and right into a big rock, that really hurt.

"Woah, watch it there."

Do rocks talk?

I looked up to see Alex and it wasn't a rock, it was his chest that I bumped into.

"S-sorry." I stammered.

I looked up and saw the ocean in his eyes, aquamarine with a bit a green but overall they were beautiful.

"Have you been crying?" He said wiping a tear away from my eye

I felt a little warmth come from his hand when he did the little gesture.

He pulled away and it was gone. I didn't realise I was crying when I

was running away.

"No."

I said answering his question, then I walked off, away from the school.

"Hey, where are you going, good girl gonna ditch?"

He smirked following me.

I picked up my pace, and he quickly caught up with his long legs.

I glared at him and walked even faster.

"Yeah got a problem with it?"

He smirked even wider.

"Nope, ride with me?"

He said. I thought about it.

Do I want to? No, not really.

I walked even faster to where my legs started to hurt.

"Nope." I said popping the 'P'.

"I don't think you heard me right, ride with me."

He said slowly, like I was a little kid who didn't know how to listen. "Nope."

I got closer towards the school gates.

"You leave me no choice."

He said and then the world flipped upside down. I finally figured out that he was carrying me and I could feel every back muscle as he walked with me over his shoulder.

I didn't like it one bit. "Put me down!" I yelled smacking his back, but he didn't even budge.

I kicked and squirmed around and I got tired so I just stopped.

Finally, he put me inside his fancy car and closed the door before I could try anything. I glared at him as he smiled smugly, and started the car.

After I gave him directions to my house, we both grew tired of the uncomfortable deathly silence but no one spoke and I wasn't going to be the one to break the ice finally he spoke up.

"Wanna play twenty questions?" I shrugged.

When he shot a glance in my direction. "What's your name I never got to chance to ask?"

I scoffed "Like you do with all your other girls, Rebecca by the way."

I flashed him a fake smile and he playfully glared.

"I ask all of my girls their names and make them swoon with my charm." I wrinkled my nose with disgust. "Yeah, and I'm a purple unicorn who pukes candy raincows."

I said sarcastically.

"Puke me you're colorful goodness sometime, Sweetheart."

I gagged with disgust this time.

"I was being sarcastic and sweetheart? Don't call me that ever."

I said glaring at him. "Why, Sweetheart." I sighed.

"I've known you for one day and I already don't like you."

I sighed again, thinking about the headache I was bound to get.
