Life was pretty much smooth for Manik because he had achieved something he never imagined. From singing at home and uploading videos on social platforms to singing on stage infront of people. It had been a big achievement and he was solely thankful to his fans for showering him with so much love.

"Yo bud! What are you thinking?" He received a smack on his shoulder and shook his head at Cabir's question.

"Nothing much. Just the journey of my life until now." He smiled and Cabir nodded in acknowledgement.

"Pretty cool right?" Cabir teased and Manik rolled his eyes. Cabir Dhawan was the only constant in his life and he was so glad to have a friend like him.

He could trust him with his life.

"Alright now you go home. Tomorrow is an off for you and me as well. Ah damn! I'm going to sleep it off." The plans were already made. Manik chuckled and stood up with his guitar and giving one last hug to Cabir they parted.

Cabir was a drummer and alongside he owned a cafe as well. He had met him when he was first invited to perform at a small night club. They connected pretty well and from then started their journey together.

Manik got home and as soon as he crashed his bed, he even struggled to keep his eyes open.

Next day was pretty much relaxing for Manik as he had nothing to do so all he did was eat, sleep, watch Netflix and repeat. It was around six thirty in the evening that his phone buzzed and he frowned.

Well this was weird. Yes, he did get fan messages but that was only limited till Instagram and Facebook. How would they even get his number?

The message popped up and his frown deepened.

Ahaan?

Who Ahaan?

This seemed like a case of wrong number. Whoever the person is, has messaged him thinking of him as Ahaan.

He replied after thinking a lot and it was just a word. So much for thinking.

He chuckled at the reply and quickly typed a message enjoying the situation. The girl was surely in for a shock.

Normally he wouldn't have replied to such messages but what compelled him to this now, was unknown to him as well.

She didn't reply after his message and he was sure she must be feeling embarrassed after knowing he wasn't Ahaan.

Shaking his head and with a smile playing on his lips, he got up and brought his guitar in the living room. He sat there strumming the chords and humming a song but his mind continued thinking about the girl.

Should he message her?
