《Wrong Number ✓》Chapter Six

She didn't tell him.

She could have but then she didn't feel like telling him about Ahaan because she had already messaged him assuming him as Ahaan and now if she'll take his advise on that matter, it'll be too selfish.

So instead she asked him about himself and his work.

She was kinda curious to know about his work which had kept him so busy that he had disappeared for two days. Did he do this often?

What else was she supposed to say? She didn't want to offend him by asking something too personal or stupid so she left it upto him.

She felt like she has been too cautious these days and it came like a reflex to her.

She was surprised.

He had so easily told her so much and she had been so hesitant. But how could he tell her all this when in today's world there were so many chances that the opposite person could misuse his information.

He had a point.

She was the first one to share her problem with him and why he didn't block her in the first instance was beyond her knowledge. Any sane person would have done that to a wrong number.

She chuckled looking at the emoji she sent him. She was starting to use his style in not using the WhatsApp emojis.

He was surely rubbing off on her.

She laughed out loud at his last dramatic message and shook her head typing her reply.

She was no less because she had only replied to what he had mentioned. Nothing less, nothing more.

Just then she got a message from her mother and she made a confused face. She opened it and a smile graced her lips.

Her brother was the most annoying person but she loved him more than anything because she rarely got to meet him. And this message had surely made her day.

Her mother hadn't mentioned the time and she knew that even on asking she won't get to know.

So she didn't even bother asking as she was already excited.

Nandini made an arrogant face even though there was no one watching her. Then she realised what she was doing and slapped her forehead.

She was just typing her message when the bell rang and her eyes widened. This was too soon!

She squealed and left her phone before running out to open the door but not before checking from the peephole which as expected was blocked.

She rolled her eyes and opened the door and stood there with attitude.

"Such an idiot! Who opens the door without knowing who's on the other side!" He scolded her as he pushed her aside and entered inside.

She pouted angrily and closed the door with a thud following him.

"You ruined my mood, now I don't want to meet you. Go away!" She complained stomping her foot and leaving for her room.

Her brother chuckled and followed her behind because the manaofying session was going to last long.
