《Wrong Number ✓》Chapter Four

That night after waiting for his reply for about half an hour she slept unknowingly with the phone in her hand.

The next morning as she opened her eyes, the first thing she searched was her phone with her hands. After locating it she brought it infront of her face checking for any messages.

When she found none from a particular one she frowned and sat up grumpily. He had ruined her morning very successfully.

But then she remembered that she was going to talk to Ahaan today and her face lit up like a bulb. She hurriedly got down from the bed and left for the bathroom.

After she was ready to go to college, she once again checked her phone for any reply but there was none. Chucking away those thoughts she left after locking her door.

She reached college and attended the lectures hoping to see Ahaan in atleast one but to her dismay he was nowhere to be found. Not even in the campus or canteen or corridors. He had bunked college and much to her annoyance Aditi also had decided to bunk.

Her mood had dropped from 100 to 1 real quick and she had declared it the worst day of her life so far.

She was doodling something in her book while the professor blabbering something but she paid no heed. Suddenly she felt her phone vibrating and she secretly checked it.

She frowned looking at his text and replied nothing because he was supposed to say his name and not give explanations on why he had disappeared. Of course she would ask hin about that later but first of all she wanted to know his name.

And she was already running out of patience.

Another message popped up when she didn't reply. Still no name! This guy was either dumb or playing dumb card.

She grinned at the messages and then glanced at the professor who was busy writing something. She quickly typed a reply and sent it.

Nandini quickly hid her phone as the professor looked up and pretended to pay attention. Her phone kept vibrating but she had to ignore it because getting caught was not her forte.

As soon as the lecture ended after twenty minutes she quickly collected her things and dashed out of there before the next professor would walk in.

She ended up in the canteen and sat down before taking out her phone and reading his messages.

She couldn't stop smiling reading his messages because he seemed so goofy. Every message was sent after waiting for a minute and she resisted the urge to laugh out loud at his desperation.

He clearly was more impatient then her.

Not wanting another flood of his messages she replied back hurriedly.

She sighed and looked around the canteen when her eyes narrowed on something rather someone.

It was Ahaan's friend. The one with whom he's always roaming.

But he was alone and it only confirmed her doubts of him bunking college. She shook her head and looked at her phone.

She raised one eyebrow at his question because he seemed to curious to know about her. First he found out about her name and now he wanted to know about her studies. Next he would ask her where did she study and she had no idea who he was.

She grew nervous and typed a reply.

She lied. She didn't opt for commerce stream rather arts. But she didn't trust anyone so easily and giving away any details about her was dangerous especially in today's century.

In a way she was relieved as well because he didn't ask her anything else. She sighed in relief and decided to leave for home because it really wasn't an eventful day.
