《Wrong Number ✓》Chapter Two

Nandini called Aditi the next moment but she didn't pick up and she was sure that she was doing it intentionally to avoid any confrontation. She tried few more times but it went unanswered.

Huffing she kept her phone aside suddenly grumpy. How could she give her the wrong number?

Just then her phone beeped and she picked it up hurriedly thinking it must be Aditi.

She narrowed her eyes at his text and wondered how could he even start a conversation with a complete stranger?

The first thing she did is change his name because he surely wasn't Ahaan.

She sure sounded rude but how dare he ask her that like they had been friends since ages. She sighed and looked around her room which was every bit of messy. Perks of living alone. No one to tell you to tidy up your room, no one to nag about how unhealthy all these habits were.

She missed her parents. She missed home. But she had to complete her studies and only then would she go back.

She pressed her lips in a thin line reading his message. She read his reply again and then her message above. Of course he would be rude as well because she wasn't a saint either.

But she had to stop this here. She couldn't possibly keep chatting with a stranger.

It was the end of the conversation for her and she decided to delete his number from her contact list.

But before that her phone rang and a smile formed on her face.

"Mom, I missed youuu!" She sang on the phone and heard her mother chuckle from the other end. She smiled to herself at their connection because just few minutes ago she was missing her.

"I missed you too my baby." Her mother cooed and she made scrunched up her face. Baby? She hated that endearment.

"Mom please I'm not a baby." She whined into the phone and her mother snickered.

"Your whining says otherwise." Her mother teased and she pouted angrily looking at nowhere particular.

She heard some shuffling and bickering from the other end which made her frown but soon she heard her favourite voice.

"Nandu! How are you?" Her father asked with excitement in his voice and she grinned widely.

"Dad you know I'm missing you'll more now." She said in a baby voice and immediately bit her tongue remembering her mother's words.

"We miss you too every day. And why did you have to select a college so far?" He asked grumpily and she chuckled knowing her father hated her being away from home. But he never denied her for anything.

"Dad I promise I'll be coming soon to you all." She smiled and chatted with them for more than an hour before biding them bye.

Her attention then went on the message sent by him and she clicked on it.

She was going to reply when she froze reading his last message. Was she reading it right?

Nandini?

How did he know her name?

Who the hell is he?

Her head was spinning with all these questions and she couldn't reply back anything and as if he knew this would be her reaction, he didn't text her after that.

Something was surely weird.
