The woods hold me,
They constrict and choke me,
And pull me,
Tighter and tighter in.
They're just trying to,
Protect me,
From all that goes on,
Around me,
But it's all a little too much,
For me.
I want to be free,
To breathe,

To see,
What goes on,
Around me.
So I snap some branches,
And wriggle free,
And split a bit inside,
Those that loved me.
But I have to,
