《Alone (Werewolf Story)》15-TV Room

My eyes widen when my eyes lock with Katrina's. We both gasp.
Katrina was a werewolf too?
Is my life a lie?
Annabelle follows my gaze and looks at Katrina.
"Kat?" she asks, with the biggest smile on her face. I let Belle go and while she goes up to hug Katrina, I turn around and stare at Mark, with an 'explain' look.
He strokes my arm and then looks up to Kat and Belle, who are still hugging it out. "She's part of the pack." he mumbled and then turned to me "She was sworn to secrecy."
That made me feel a little bit better. But just a little. She still had been ignoring me for the last like, month.
After that first day of school, she hadn't spoke to me. At all.
"Why" I ask, directing my eyes at Katrina. With my cold dark gaze.
"Katrina, why did you-" Ooo I used her full name. No more nicknames. But she interrupts me. Gurrlll...
"I'm sorry." she says looking up at me and escaping Belle's hug. She looks up at me and then frowns slightly cocking her head. Then she walks away, knowing what's gonna happen.
"Sorry, that's it? You were my only friend, the only one I knew here." I cry out, standing still and staring at her with my black eyes. She didn't move, only stood in shame.
"I knew you'd find out about us when he told us you were mates." she said quietly "I didn't want to drag you into this world. But then it was no use." she choked out.
My eyes softened when I heard that. She did this for me?
"It's okay." I say. Then Mark grabs my hand and asks "I'll show you to your room?"

I nod, looking at Kat with a reassuring smile. Yes, Kat. We're back to nicknames.
I hold onto Mark's hand and let him pull me away. "Belle!" I yell quietly, and she runs up and hugs my side smiling.
"Did you make up?" she asked with a smile. I nodded slowly, making her jump in excitement.
"This is your room." Mark said, pointing to a room with a bunk bed. Annabelle looks up and lets go of me.
"I call the top bunk!" she yells, and climbs up the ladder super fast. Me and Mark laugh at her when she still doesn't realize that no one's chasing her.
Mark kisses me on the cheek and leaves the room "I'll wait outside" he says just loud enough for me to hear.
I place my bag down on the bottom bunk and climb up to Belle, who is playing with the soft sheets and bed.
"You can go play outside if you want." I suggested, remembering my first time outside the orphanage.
She nodded quickly before I climbed down with her at my heel.
I saw Mark outside the door and walked up to him. He grabbed my waist and led me towards a big door.
When we got inside, I was met with the smell of junk food and popcorn. The TV room.
