Robbie hadn't spoke to you in at least a week, you began to worry. You decided to try and call him again.
"Please pick up..please!" you said hoping your boyfriend would finally answer. You began to sob into the phone when you heard a loud knock at the door. Running to the door and opening it you saw him, drenched in water. "Robbie!" you cried attacking him in a hug. instead of hugging back like he used to, he pushed you away and walked inside. You were in shock. This wasn't the Robbie you knew. What was once his heart was now a solid black rock. "Robbie what's wrong? Where were you? I've been worried you said looking into his beautiful green orbs. "Why the hell does it matter? I was gone!" he yelled at you for the first time, making you cringe on the inside. "I'm your girlfriend! Aren't i supposed to worry about the boy i love!" you yelled, which made Robbie become infuriated."If I can't have my own life then maybe I should have never asked you out in the first place!" he softened up after he relized what he had said. You began to feel tears stream down your face. "Dammit! (Y/N) I didn't-" he said walking towords you. "Don't! Just stay away!" you cried,running upstairs to your room. Slamming the door, you ran into your bathroom. You opened a drawer and pulled out a small razor coated in a thin line of blood. You put the razor to your wrist but stopped when you heard Robbie yell. "Don't!" he shouted, pulling you into a tight hug. You cried, dropping the razor. "Leave me alone!" you screamed, pushing the crying boy off of you. "Please! (Y/N) I'm so sorry. I'm an ass! I know! I wasn't thinking. I should've told you!" he sobbed, thumping his head on the wall, "Please." You softened up,giving in. No matter what happened you couldn't stop loving him and caring for him. You finally spoke up, "I know... I'm sorry." He urned to face you and pulled you into a tight hug. "Me too..." he whispered wiping the tears from your face, then pulling you into a kiss. You both felt sparks fly just as the first time your lips met. "I love you (Y/N)" he whispered, cying from the event. "I love you too." you replied.

With the story only focusing on her, I can keep the mystery suspenseful and the reader can experience what Jessica is experiencing. It is a typical YA style, but it is fun to write as your main character. There are changes, but the first and second books will be similar to the third-person chapters. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.
