You look down at your map, and then back up at the museum. This was the first place you had gone with Waldo. This was also the first time you saw the darker side to him.. you shake your head a bit before the memories. You walk inside the museum. A rush of air blows into your face as you see what you remember to be a very busy museum. A man scraping bits of shattered pot into a dustpan looks up and smiles at you. He's a plump man, and he seemed very cheery.
"Hello! I apologize if you were here a couple days ago, something just made the whole place go kablooey!" he says, taking the pieces and putting them in a trash can.
"Isn't that a priceless artifact?" you ask, slowly pointing to the garbage can. The man chuckles.
"Not exactly, a co-worker brought them in.. although I can't remember what for. He just showed up with 9 pots stacked on top of eachother. It really went into chaos over here." he sighs a little. "So why are you here?" You curl up your toes in your shoe before you decide to reply.
"I'm looking for somebody" you say.
"Well! There are plenty of people here. Are you looking for somebody in particular?" he says. His smile looked so genuine too, he couldn't help you and yet he so desperately wanted to.
"Well.. I'm looking for a guy named Waldo, although I don't expect for you to have seen him" you say.
"Waldo? Never heard of him! Well if he shows up I'll let ya know" he smiles again. You smile back, wave goodbye and wander around the museum.
"I don't know why I expected him to be here... it's not like he would go somewhere obvious" you sighed a little. This was a bit like the beginning, wasn't it? Back when everything was still somewhat comprehensible. When you went searching for him it felt a lot more like you were playing a game. It didn't feel that way anymore.

"Hey! I didn't expect to see you here again.." a nasally voice pipes up from behind you as a hand is placed on your shoulder. You turn around quickly yank away the hand that touched you.
"Odlaw?" the man dressed up in the bee-like outfit was standing in front of you. "I thought waldo had a.. civil conversation with you.." you say slowly. You had pushed Odlaw from your mind after all this time, assuming he was dead. Yet here he was standing in front of you.
"Well I'm glad you're at least doing ok." He looks around a bit. "Where's Waldo?"
