Who was that talking to you? Was it a ghost? The voice was so familiar, yet at the same time you wanted the hide from it.

Wait a minute. Is that Waldo? You take a moment to try to get a grip on where you are. You were getting dragged away from somewhere, right? A dungeon, if you remember. You shake your head trying to recapture your senses. You suddenly heard a bit of snapping right in front of you, snatching you back into reality. Suddenly the voice was much clearer and everything came back into focus.

" you've been laying on the floor for 5 whole minutes, should I drag you off somewhere to have a nap or something?" Waldo says. Somehow, you aren't comforted by his presence. This is most likely because Waldo's face was dripping with blood, it was actually very unsightly. Waldo wipes a hand across his face to remove the blood from his face. Somehow the dorky guy you knew is standing right in front of you now. "Turns out I can get the job done with just my bare hands." he says, giving you a somewhat awkward looking thumbs up.

"Did you like.. break out of a guards-"

"Yep! I knocked him over and beat him to death" Waldo says with a chuckle. You stare at him and then get up really slowly. Waldo extends a hand to help lift you up, but you shake your head.

"I'd rather not get lifted up by the hands you used to beat a man to death, Waldo." Waldo gives you an understanding nod.

"The first order of business will be to get my cane back" He says. He adjusts his beanie and points onwards.

"Wasn't it back in the cell?" you say, trying your best to remember.

"Nope! It's probably somewhere else, why would they keep it in there with me?" he says, giving you a slight eyebrow wiggle. He seemed pretty cheery for somebody who just beat a man to death, maybe that's why he was more cheery than normal? This man never ceases to confuse you. You decide to just follow his lead, assuming he'll take you to the right place.
