You sat in your room for quite some time. The image of that past Waldo laying waste to those pirates, Waldo threatening Odlaw, all of these things plagued each thought you had. Would it even be worth it to keep perusing him?

"Please just remember I'm not that person anymore"

You lay facedown in your bed and bury your face in a pillow; what a weird life you were living.

"Waldo, you make my life a living nightmare.." you whisper to yourself. You roll over on your side, dragging the pillow with you and squeezing on it tightly "and yet I don't think I could live without you" you continue roll back and forth in your bed, unable to make a final decision on the matter. "This isn't fair, why can't I just find the right answer? Is he even safe to be around..?" you pout to yourself. You give one dramatic sigh and crawl out of your bed, sitting by the window and watching the busy city wind down for the night. Had it really only been one day? It felt like it had been several days on end, considering the time travel though, it's not unlikely to guess you had been out for longer than 12 hours.

As you watch the city streets you begin to wonder what a life with Waldo would even look like. Keeping him from becoming an all out murderous monster; a villain of time. How did Wenda say she did it?

"That's why I made him a children's book mascot."

Would this really work twice...? Wenda could do it, so maybe you could too.

Starting tomorrow.. you would document the journeys you went on with Waldo! You'd buy a camera and you'd let the world play his mental games.

With a slight smile you crawl back into bed, happy about the choice you finally made, and after closing your eyes you drift off.
