I was growing weaker each day. After what I assumed was around three weeks, I woke up to find I had been moved... I was now hanging from silver chains bolted to the ceiling of the cell I was in. I was hanging from my wrists with no other way of supporting my body, my feet were too far off the ground, so I hung there, in agony, dipping in and out of consciousness.

Being a prisoner was no easy ride... but it was even worse knowing my father was behind it.

A Few Days Later...

I had not had anything to eat or drink for a couple of days now so they increased the injections of the drugs they were using to keep me out of it. I was far too weak to even sense what was happening anymore. Especially as they were still taking my blood from me, goddess knows what they actually needed it for. I know my father came down and he was whipping me but I felt so far removed from the world that I didn't even feel the pain anymore.

Some of the other shifters were offered the luxury of walking around with the guards to keep them sane. I on the other hand didn't have this little sign of humanity extended to me... I was too much of a risk and a danger to whoever would have been walking with me. Even in the state I was in my father wouldn't underestimate me.

Capturing an Alpha born Luna was one thing. But torturing was a whole other thing... they made sure I didn't have the slightest chance of ripping their throats out. Because if I saw it, I would take it.

I came to again later that day to see my fathers revolting face right up in mine, I knew it was a long shot but I thrust my head at him.

CRACK.

His nose broke. I was proud, I may have nothing left in me... but the satisfaction of returning a fraction of the pain he was putting me and these other supernatural people through made me smile.

"You fucking filthy little bitch!" He screamed out holding his nose as the blood flowed down his face. "You'll never get a chance like that again you mutt... I hope it was worth it. You've now made my decision to kill you a whole lot easier. I was going to wait to see if we could find a way to kill Maya off forever but I can't wait anymore." He laughed darkly, "make peace with your fate Cici, I'll be back soon and I'll enjoy what I get to do!"
