I woke up a couple of hours later and he wasn't here anymore. I sighed, sadness entered my heart at the lack of his presence. I could smell he had left about an hour ago. "Maya?" I ask out loud even though I could just think it and she would answer. 'Yes child?' She thought back, "are we strong enough to defeat my father alone?". She takes a minute 'we are yes but it's always safer to have mate around'. I sigh "I know Maya but I was thinking if I could get to the packs land, and take down my father, then I would be their Alpha by birth right as his first born. This way they wouldn't have to all die for my fathers selfish wants", I heard her growl an agreement, 'ok, I agree if we can save our old packs lives then it would be good, but mate will be mad at us'. I nod knowing she was right but also hoping he would see what I was trying to do for my old pack and my new one.

I hop out of bed and get into the shower, "we won't go today Maya, we will leave early Friday while he sleeps, so don't tell Victor the plan because that's two days away." I could feel her sadness at keeping it from her mate of centuries but she nods an agreement in my mind. I smell vanilla and buttercream surround me and I knew my mate was home, I was about to get out of the shower but I decided to stay in it hoping he would join me.
