Goddess it felt good to say those words, 'killing my father', I wondered to myself about whether I should worry that the idea of killing my own flesh and blood didn't upset me. But after what he did I'm sure that only makes me human... I laugh at myself... not human... a wolf! I reach out and take Ash's hand in mine, we were walking back to our house and he seemed deep in thought. "Are you okay my Alpha King" I say it in a sensual voice knowing it would cheer him up.
He chuckled and stood walking, he looks me dead in the eyes and lifts me into his arms with a sigh. "I am as long as I have you, my Luna Queen" he whispers into my ear as I wrap my legs around him. I growl in approval and kiss his cheek.
"Good," I pull back to look into his eyes as he continues the walk back to ours with me in his arms, "as long as you actually are ok, if something is bothering you maybe I can help." I add, just to let him know I can be serious if he really is worried.
"I know my Luna, I know, I'm just mourning still, I haven't fully connected you to the pack yet but when I do you'll understand the pain as the Alpha and Luna when we loose someone." I nod in silent understanding, I'd seen it when Pack members died in my mother and father before everything went so bad. I wrap my hands around the back of his beach and kiss him with all the feeling and love that I could, just to let him know I understood and I was there for him. He kissed me back gently and said against my lips, "oh goddess you really have made me the luckiest wolf alive." He deepens the kiss as he carries me through our front door and marches me straight to the bedroom.

I giggle in his arms as he starts to drop us onto the bed, last minute I kick out my leg against the wall and flip us mid air so when we landed on the bed I was on top. He smirked up at me and growls deep in his chest, 'I love it when I know he's genuinely happy' I think as I smile to myself. The rest of the night was spent in each other's arms sweaty and filled with job as we mated again and again.

As Kaiden tries to retrieve the guest he quickly finds out that these kidnappers mean business, and spilling blood is nothing but an afterthought. Sometimes, requisition is the only answer. Book 3: Indignated Efflux Cypher returns from the Waste, battered, bruised and elated as the debt he'd accrued from Mr Black is about to be paid. Cypher checks in with his wife and daughter, only to see his biggest fear become a reality. Akatani has found them, but luckily for Cypher, Akatani needs him to retrieve an item for him. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
