She smiles up at me, "how did you know I was going to take a hoodie?" She asked while pulling it over her head.

"Isn't that what all women do when they're head over heels for somebody?" I joke with her, loving that hoodie even more now her body was in it.

She growled a warning, "Don't get too cocky mister I know this is your extra little claim on me!" She cocked an eyebrow in my direction as I pull on my own black jeans and a hoodie. "luckily for you I only want you and I happen to love huge jumpers and your scent"! She giggled and I swear it sounds like magic.

I move over to her and lift her in my arms to kiss her, she moans and I smile into the kiss. "I love you Luna".

"I love you Alpha" she purred back to me. I swear I was about to give in and take her right there in the closet but her head snapped up and she smelt the air..... "BACON" she screamed as she wriggled out of my arms and ran through our room and down the stairs. I ran after my mate enjoying the steady flow of our mixed scents hitting my nose as I trailed behind her.

We ate and my cheeks started to hurt from my constant smile, I realised just how little I smiled before she arrived! I looked her over and frowned. "What's wrong Ash?" She quizzed me looking worried.

"Nothing my Luna, I just realised we still have to do something about your dad" I say with my eyes down now, he might be an ass in my eyes but he's still my mates father. 'He beat her remember' my wolf jumps to the front of my mind. My head shoots up, "are all the scars on your body really from him"?! I heard the shock and anger dripping from my voice.

"Yes", she looked down this time and I put my finger under her chin and brought her eyes back up to mine. "He used silver to start off with so the scars would stay but after my wolf left for a while, he could cut me and whip me and the scars would stay" she said with tears forming in her eyes.

My wolf growled and so did I, I knew my eyes were changing now as anger boiled my blood, "I'll make him pay I promise you!" I state, meaning it to be just between my wolf and I but glad she heard me when she wiped her eyes and said,

"Oh darling if anyone's going to rip his head off it'll be me", and there she was again, my sweet but fierce mate. I chuckled and took her hand as we walked to our office in the pack house to make a plan.
