I freeze when he cups my cheek and his lips touch mine. I have no idea what to do but I'm swallowed by the scent and taste of him as I let instinct take over. He wraps his other hand around my waist and pulls me closer, a growl escaping from his lips. I grin and reach up wrapping an arm around his neck. I shudder as I can feel the electric shocks from touching his skin runs though my body.

He starts to move his mouth down the side of my neck. The sparks become more intense as he goes farther. I gasp as his mouth comes into contact with where he will mark me. I can feel him grin at my reaction and than he gently sucks on it and places his canines over the spot. I gasp again and let the sparks engulf my body. Without even thinking I lean my neck to the side and pull him closer. "Mark me." I growl. He stops and pulls back staring into my eyes. His eyes are a bright gold color, a sign that his wolf is in complete control. I am sure my eyes reflect his but in my own special colour. We stare at each other.

"Um, Alpha, Luna?" I hear a voice say right behind me. With a growl I spin around grabbing whoevers behind me neck and flipping them onto their back. I lean down and growl into the eyes of Paul.

"WHAT?!." I hiss piercing his shoulder with my claw. His eyes widen at my tone and his eyes say all I wanted to see... an apology is writing within them even when he doesn't say it. I growl again for good measure and stand up. He is still gaping at me even when I lean down and grab his wrist pulling him off the ground.

"For the darkest, 'scariest' pack in the U.K you guys are pussies." I say, spinning around and grinning at my mate. He growls and his eyes darken but I don't even blink. My eyes are glistening with the tease I shot at him and his lighten in response with that same need filled glint. He's probably just mad that he didn't get to mark me but I honestly don't care right now.

"Hmm, so what's up Paul?" I say turning around.

"Its about your father." He says. I growl, so does Ash.

"What about him?" I growl again.

"You have to come and see." Paul says. I nod and follow him. We walk to the pack house where there is a giant circle of people surrounding something. I frown and push past the people. A body is lying on the ground... a very bloody body. I crouch down on the ground and dip my hand in the blood. Pulling is back I take a whiff. I choke.

"Is this..?" I ask looking up at the pack. They nod.

"Its one of the border patrol wolves from our pack." One of the pack members let me know. Behind me I hear a growl. For a second I can feel the fear spike through my wolf. The growl is so loud I can hear it echo into the distance. I turn my head. Behind me is a massive dark grey wolf. Its stance is menacing and warning.

"Ash." I whisper. The wolf looks at me with a angry and painful look on his face. He shoots me a look of complete devastation before he tears though the crowd and takes off into the woods. My wolf growls.

One of the pack members start to go after him. "No." I say. "He needs space." I say. They nod. I turn back to the body and lean down to examine the scratch mark embedded into the chest cavity. "This is a threat." I say, staring up at the pack. "From my father." I say again. They all growl. I look up at Paul. He nods. I take a deep breath and stand up brushing off my pants.

"For those of you who don't know me, my name is Cici. My father is the Alpha of The Midnight Sky Pack." I say. Whispers start to travel though the crowd but I continue. "I am also the mate of Alpha Ash." I say. The whispers increase. "From what I know this death threat means war. And as the rightful Alpha of The Midnight Sky Pack I give you my permission to kill my father and anyone who stands in your way." The whispers stop.

All of the pack stares at me. One by one they drop to one knee. I frown, this is new to me. I look around to see them all doing it. I can feel my wolf start to take over. She starts to howl. A loud and strong howl that also echo's. The pack starts to howl to. The howl of Alpha Ash is long and clear even above the rest, but his is laced with a pain... a pain I wish I could remove.

After I helped recover the body and take it to a more private place to await burial, I had spent two hours talking to the family of the fallen wolf. Many of the members were touched and thanked me for coming to talk to them personally, but all I kept thinking about was how this was my fault: How I had brought this attack onto them. I don't know why my father would do this after sending me here himself but I was sure as shit going to find out.
