A few weeks past, and the two seemed to be a lot closer to each other. Sharing secrets and jokes to one another. Yuta became comfortable with her and started to be loud among her and their classmates. He was fun, and really friendly, just like his mom.
"Yuta." The named boy raised his head and saw Hyagura approaching him with two cans of coffee in both her hands. She handed one to him and popped one open. They were both studying for the exams and they were both focused. "Hey Yuta, what college will you go to after you finished highschool?" He shrugged and took her drink, sipping on it. "Hey! I already bought you one! Why drink on mine?" She glared at him and raised a eyebrow. He stared at her face and his mouth opened.
"What?" She asked, her brows creasing. "You're not— you're not wearing your glasses today." He pointed out making the girl nod. "Glad you noticed." She smiled and sipped on her drink, making Yuta's eyes widen. Good thing she wasn't looking at him, because his face was red by now. He patted his cheeks and tried to focus on his work again. But he couldn't, knowing he and Hyagura, unconsciously shared an indirect kiss.
After a few more reading and writing notes, they both decided to eat at a takoyaki place across the school. It was a local shop that almost every student ate at, they've heard it from classmates and they wanted to try it themselves. Once they entered the shop, they noticed a big octopus painted on one of the walls, making Hyagura gasp in surprise. "Artsy, I like it." The girl commented and smiled as she went to the counter to order.
After ordering, a waitress led them to a table and asked them to wait. They both agreed and waited in comfortable silence. "Hey, Yagu. What about you? Where would you go after highschool?" The poor girl was taken aback by the sudden question. And honestly she didn't know too. She shrugged as an answer and rested her head on top of her palm. "Why don't we play 21 questions?" Yuta suggested making Hyagura nod. "You first." She gestured to him.

"Favorite color?"
"Hepplewhite ivory."
"I don't even know what that is."
"Eh, my turn. Favourite manga?"
"Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo."
"Isn't that the old school manga?"
"Yes, that's two questions already. My turn."
They both laughed and continued asking more questions, until the final question came up. "Yagu, what do you think about m—" Only to be cut off by the waitress. "Enjoy." She said and bowed before leaving to serve another customer. "What was your question?" Hyagura asked the boy who was enjoying his food. He looked up and thought of another question, he nodded his head and wiped the corners of his mouth before answering.
"Why aren't you wearing your glasses? You don't go a day without them." Hyagura shrugged again at the familiar question. "I dunno, I just felt like it." Yuta nodded in understanding and ate again. "But, aren't you uncomfortable?" He asked again. "Hey that's two questions!" She crossed her arms making Yuta laugh.
"Just answer it already." He deadpanned and finished his dish. "Depends, since I sit at the middle it's a bit hard to read what the sensei is writing on the board." Yuta nodded again and waited for her to finish her dish.

"Thanks for walking me home, again." Hyagura laughed at him. How ironic, she thought. "Instead of me walking you home, you always walk me home. It kinda ruins my pride." He rubbed his nape and chuckled. Hyagura laughed again, only harder this time. "You don't have to walk me all the way down the street only to go back all the way here." She pointed out flicking her bangs out of her face.
"Aw, you care about me?" He teased making her slap his shoulder. He pouted and rubbed the sore spot. Yet, he didn't stop there. "You do, don't you." She glared at him, his cocky side was showing and to be honest, Hyagura liked that side more than his shy and nervous side, even though he looked cuter. "Admit it." He wiggled his eyebrows and his smile grew wider. "Fine, I, Mochizuki Hyagura am concerned for Nakamoto Yuta. There, happy?" She crossed her arms, restraining a smile forming on her face. "Very much." He grinned at her, which made the girl grin too. His smile was contagious, and very pretty. Prettier than the spring season where sakuras bloom and fall. In fact, it was beautiful and healing.

"Okay, enough with the lovey-dovey crap there kiddos. Time to go home." Yuta's mother cut them off, making them both blush. "See you then Yagu." Yuta bid his goodbye and smiled once again. "Bye bye, Yuta." She ruffled her hair and walked away. "Mhm, you've got a lot of tea to spill young man." His mother said making his ears red. "Ma!" He groaned making her laugh. "You can't even take a joke." She laughed harder.
