《Promise » n.yt》04 | walk you home

"Hey, let me walk you home." That was the sentence that led them to complete awkwardness.
Hyagura cursed under her breath for asking him that stupid question. It's the least she can do since she did drag him all around Hiroshima, till dusk. She puffed a breathe and bit her lower lip. It sure was awkward, because what girl would have the guts to ask a guy home? She couldn't forget the priceless reaction he gave her before agreeing nervously.
"Uh.. Hyagura-chan." Yuta managed to sputter out, making Hyagura flinch at the honorifics. She turned and saw him pointing at a lovely cottage at the corner of the street. "We went past my house." He pointed out, making the girl's lips form an "O". Yuta chuckled at her face and urged her to come to him. She hopped towards him and continued to walk back. Hyagura adjusted her glasses and looked at Yuta.
"Thank you for that, tour." Yuta paused to look at the girl infront of him. "Yeah, sure, no problem. You can, uh, call me anytime." The boy's ears perked up when she said that. "I don't have your number.." He muttered under his breath. Hyagura pushed her glasses up against her nose again and let out an awkward chuckle. "Do you have your phone with you?" Yuta, who was fiddling with his fingers shook his head timidly.
"Okay, I'll—"
"Yuta!" Hyagura was cut off by a voice yelling from inside his home. They both looked at the source and saw a middle aged woman with a fit body waving at them both. Yuta groaned in embarrassment while Hyagura stood there awkwardly. The woman then walked towards them and greeted Hyagura. "Ooh, Yuta dear. Who is this pretty lady?"
"Mochizuki Hyagura." She bowed respectfully and smiled. Yuta's mother smiled and asked her to come with them. "No! No need ma'am." She shook her head and puffed her cheeks lightly. "I don't want to bother you." She said truthfully and smiled again. At this point, Yuta was blushing of embarassment. "Ma! You don't have to." She glared at her son and smiled back at Hyagura. "No, we insist." She pushed Yuta aside and made way for the girl to enter their small home.

Hyagura felt welcomed, their home radiated warmness and it was perfect for a chilly night. "Come, come, sit down." And for Yuta's mother, she was truly friendly. The girl grinned and sat down on the cream coloured couch. Their house smelled like lavender and fresh laundry, which relaxed her. She looked around and saw a grumpy Yuta enter the doorstep. He looked at Hyagura and his ears became red, he was embarassed, and he didn't know what his mother would tell the girl. Yet, she only smiled and waved at him.
And that small action, melted Yuta's heart.

"Thank you, again." Yuta bowed at Hyagura and smiled. "No, thank you. It would be boring if I didn't see you at the store, my day would be uneventful, y'know?" She grinned and leaned forward and back on the heels of her shoe. "Sorry about my mom by the way, she's too friendly." He rubbed the back of his head and sighed. "I figured." They shared a laugh and looked at each other again.
"So... Okay, do you still want my number? I mean it's fine.." The girl stammered and let out an awkward chuckle. Yuta nodded and gave her his phone, to which the girl gasped about. "Wow, I always wanted this phone. Too bad we don't have that much money." She wiped the screen and unlocked it, typing her number and saving it under "Hyagura". She handed it back to Yuta and bid her goodbyes.

What would an anime be like from the perspective of a background character? From birth, Reikawa Yuuya has had the ability to see the character arcs of the people around him, a skill passed down through his family. Gray's Crucible
“The value you have brought to trade is immense, more than a thousand fold what any other traveler to Crucible has ever produced. More than even I produced during my journey.” The old man paused for a moment here, seemingly reluctant to continue. After a few seconds he begins again with weariness creeping into his voice. “As the Messenger of Crucible I have received the value of your life. You shall be awarded a body with potential equaling the value you have brought to this place in accordance with the laws of the higher realms. Now you shall depart for Crucible, but first; I, Jaze, will give you some advice.” The old man, Jaze, he had named himself paused a time. Time enough that Gray began to wonder if he was still present, when he suddenly continued in a low and serious tone, “You will undoubtedly have great potential Gray of Earth, but it is still only potential. What could be is not necessarily what will be. If you step foolishly in my world, if you can not live up to the potential you have bartered for, Crucible will crush you mercilessly and tear away your very soul.” A thought, cheerful and light was heard from Gray before his presence was sent rocketing away like a shooting star. “I’m looking forward to it.”
