After all this time I finally am free of Mikael! I finally don't have to live in fear anymore! I don't need to run anymore.

"Hey Klaus?" Caroline said breaking my thoughts, I looked at her so she could know that I was listening. "Do you want to do the honors?"

"I would love to" I said smirking, then I went over Mikael and start to stave him.

"You said that I was the cower but in here, the one who is a coward is this bastard." Mikael said making me angry and Caroline stave him almost in the heart.

"You talk like that about him again and I won't be so gentle." She said angry.

"How is possible you love him so much that you can't see how much of a monter Klaus is?" Mikael asked and I fight my tears to don't come out, Caroline didn't noticed and just stabbed him a couple more times.

"Caroline can we talk alone for a while?" I asked.

"Okay. I am going to let you rest, but not to long." Caroline warned Mikael and went with me to the living room.

"What did you wanted to talk about?" Caroline asked.

"I wanted to ask you why are you doing this. I know that you are not in favor of torturing people."

"Well I have an exception when it canes to Mikael." She said angry.

"Why?" I asked.

"Why? Maybe because I know about how he treated you when you were human and after you turned. Maybe..." She was saying but I cut her off

"Caroline why do you care so much about what he did to me?" I asked.

"Because I love you okay? Because I can even imagine you being hurt. Because you are the most important person in my life and I cannot handle lose you. I need you in my life." She said and then she looked at the ground, I rest my head in her cheek making her looked at me and I kissed her.

"I love you too." I said breaking the kiss and she smiled "You are not going to lose me." She kissed me right away and I kissed her back.

"Klaus?" She said between kissed.

"Yeah" I said kissing her, all I wanted was her touch, her lips on mine, I wanted her so badly.

"I prefer continue this when no one else is in here." She said making me get back to reality.

"You're right" I said now serious.

"Klaus are you going to...?" Caroline asked and I nodded. "Don't worry I'll be right next to you to support you."

"That's the problem I would like to do it alone..." I said.

"Are you sure?" She asked and I nodddd then she kissed me and then break the kiss saying "okay good luck"

I went back to the basement with the white oak stake in my hands, but I was with my hands behind my back.

"Is those your last words?"

"No. My last words are 'you're just a coward and fulling boy who needs people to defend him because he cannot defend himself and you are going end up all alone'..." He said and I stabbed him white the white oak stake. I stay there seeing him burn and then get out.

"It's done" I said not showing any emotion and Caroline hugged me like if she knew what I was feeling.

"I can't even imagine how hard it was but I hope that you know that I'll be here for you." She said with a small smile.

"I love you so much Caroline Forbes" I said putting my hands on her waist.
