Caroline's POV
I wake up without knowing where I was, after a few seconds I remember that I was living with The Originals, I took a shower, curled my hair, put a red top with some black jeans and a little makeup, but not exaggerate, just to seem natural.
I walk to the kitchen where was Rebekah and Kol fighting and Klaus was talking with Hope.
"Good morning" I said and Hope hugged me.
"Good morning Caroline" she said with a smile and her eyes sparkling.
"I see my daughter is quite found of you" Klaus said smirking.
"Like father like daughter" Kol said and Rebekah gave him a nudge.
"Good morning Care" Rebekah said and I smiled.
I went over to the balcony where was the coffee and serve myself.
"Caroline, did you told my dad what is my favorite bedtime story?"
"You like that much about the story of the boy who saw a comet?" I asked smiling and Klaus gave us a confuse look.
"Yes. I thought in tell him the story, but I cannot tell like you..."
"Well, what about tonight when you go to bed I tell you the bedtime story and Klaus be there with us and hear the story."
"That sounds good" she said and I return to drink my coffee.
"I can't wait to know how this so amazing story is..." Klaus said smiling and Hope chuckled.
"Caroline, how long are you going to be here?"
"I don't know. Why are you bored with me already?" I asked making a funny face and she chuckled.
"No. Because I like you living with me... We can put makeup in my Uncle Kol..." Hope said and I smiled.
"No way!" Kol said.
"This time you girls have me to help." Rebekah said smirking and we all laugh with the exception of Kol.

"Good morning" Ansel said smiling.
"Father!" Klaus said hugging him.
"This is still weird..." Rebekah said and I gave her a glare.
"Hello"
"It's so nice to see you again" Ansel said smiling and then hugged me, I was surprised but I hugged him back then he break the hug "I'm sorry it's just you gave me another chance to be with my son and he is always talking about Hope or you." Ansel said making me look at Klaus and smile of amusement and he gave a death glare to Ansel which made me chuckle.
"Caroline did you finish your breakfast?"
"Yes" I said smiling.
"Do you want to see my room now?" Hope asked with a big smile on her face.
"Hope I don't think Caroline would..." Klaus was saying but I cut him off.
"I would love too." I said
"Daddy come with us" hope said giving him a puppy dog eyes.
"How can I say no to that face?" Klaus said and we start to walk until her room.
"Now you know what you do to me when you do that face..." I whisper to his ear and he chuckled.
We were walking and then Hope open the door and I saw a pink room, that seemed a room to a princess, it had in the wall some princesses from the Disney and it was beautiful.
"OMG I wish I had a room like this when I was younger..." I said and saw from the corner of my eye klaus smiling and showing his cute dimples.
"I know right..." Hope said smiling.
I stayed there along with Klaus playing with Hope and talking about all sort of things, and after a couple of hours we went to the living room and Hope went to be with Kol.

Klaus's POV
"My daughter loves you. She is not usually like that with new people... She doesn't give much trust with other people." I told her seating in the couch next to Caroline.
"Since the first day I got attached to her, she is really amazing, and I love her too..." She said smiling and I saw her eyes sparkling.
"I am really happy to have you here..."
"I am really happy to be here too..." She said and then added "can I ask you something?"
"Of course love" I said and she put a bigger smile in her face.
"Can you show me some of your paintings?" She asked with a puppy dog eyes. I guess she learned that with me...
"I would love to. Let's go to my studio..." I said.
I don't show people aside my family my paintings but with her is different I like and want to show her what I like to do and where I have been to and show her that I am not always the bad guy, and I want to be with her all the time and know everything about her past and what she wants for her future... God, I seem a teenage boy with his first crush. I was never like this not even with Tatia.
"This is my studio." I said showing her and she start to see the paintings, then she stopped to look more time to a painting.
Caroline's POV
All the painting were beautiful but there was one that captured my attention, it was a man in the middle of the woods, in the dark and alone.
"This painting is..." I said fascinated.
"Horrible? Yeah, Haley said the same thing when she started to see this without even asking..." He said.
"What? How can she say something like that? This is painting capture the emotions so well that made me speechless, and I am a person who is always talking..." I said turning to see him. I sometimes feel lonely and seems that I am the only one but when I saw Klaus's painting I could see that he felt like me... Lonely and lost.
"So... You think it's good?"
"Good doesn't even describe it." I said with a smile.
"Why did that painting capture so much your attention?" Klaus asked and I looked at the ground, then he put his finger on my chin so I could look at him.
"Sometimes I feel lost, lonely, without hope... And your painting..." I couldn't finish the sentence, he just hugged me trying to comfort me.

Wildling
Blurb: Silas--a scavenger living off the ruins of humanity--has spent his entire life fighting tooth and nail to provide for himself and his crew. But when a scavenging run goes awry and he's snatched up by an android patrol, he finds himself thrown into a cage and priced to sell as a pet. And when a suitor comes calling, he fears the worst: that he'll be turned into a Domestic, a human lapdog brainwashed into total obedience. Instead, he discovers an equally disturbing truth: that the creatures who stole his world have created a videogame the likes of which Earth has never seen; a sprawling, game-like theme park where humans are the Avatars and androids are the players who control them. And to make matters worse, his android guide is as hopeless as they come, having gotten all of her previous Avatars killed in record time. So if Silas wants to regain his freedom, he'll not only have to fight his way through a world that was specifically designed to murder him in brutal fashion--he'll also have to convince his android guide that he should be the one calling the shots. FAQS: Q: Who are you, handsome stranger? A: I'm Kyle Kirrin, the author of Shadeslinger, book 1 of The Ripple System, published by Portal Books, and I write crunchy LitRPG. Q: What is Wildling? And is it complete? A: Wildling is a crunchy LitRPG mash up of Fantasy and Science Fiction. And yup, Wildling is already complete at 64 chapters, or about 120,000 thousand words. You're looking at something like a third draft here--it's fairly polished, but it hasn't been picked over by a copy editor yet nor has my developmental editor seen it. Q: Upload schedule? A: 5 initial chapters today (2/15/2021) and one chapter a day for the next month. After that I'll probably slow down to 2 or 3 chapters a week until the story is complete. Q: How crunchy is it? A: It's pretty crunchy. I'd put it on the same tier as Ascend/The Land/RSSG, but it might be a bit crunchier than those three? Q: Is this the first book in a series or a web novel or what? And what are your plans for it? A: It's currently a standalone with series potential. Full disclosure: this story may head the way of my publisher eventually, but will be available on RR for quite a while no matter what. Likely several months after it's complete with plenty of warning before/if it's taken down. Q: What kind of build does the MC create? A: Sword and board! Q: Crafting? A: Plenty! Crafting isn't as center stage as it is in The Way of the Shaman, but it's close. Q: Base building? A: Two fully separate, distinct bases, both of which play a major role in the story. Q: VRMMO? Portal? Reincarnation or what? A: This one's a bit tricky. Basically an advanced race has created a game-like world that closely resembles a theme park. Think Westworld but with copious amounts of loot. And the MC has to fight his way through that to earn his freedom. Q: Permadeath? A: Nope! The MC gets 3 lives to play through the entirety of the game world, and death is extremely punishing, but not fatal. Q: Harem? Or romance? A: No and no. Q: Cursing? Blood? A: Quite a bit of cursing, yeah. There's blood, too, but it's not a gory book by any means. Q: How can I support? A: Instead of a Patreon/donations etc, I'd ask that you consider giving my debut LitRPG Shadeslinger a chance. It's free on Kindle Unlimited and the audio is already out narrated by Travis Baldree. It's an epic fantasy VRMMO where the main character gets 3 days of exclusive access to a new game plus a snarky, talking axe to guide him through it in exchange for agreeing to become the target of a serverwide manhunt once the Head Start period ends. Q: How's it similar to Wildling? And how's it different? A. The crunch level is very similar, but Shadeslinger is a much lighter, epic fantasy take on the genre. It's also VRMMO, but without any real world components aside from the first chapter. The MC is very different--he comes off as a bit of a jerk early on and can take a bit to warm up to, especially before his backstory is revealed--but he's also got a talking axe that constantly puts him in his place. Shadeslinger's a much more humorous story in general, and it's a great deal more polished as well. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Wildling!

Living a Long Life as a Legend
Reincarnating into a game-like version of a medieval magical world was fine and all. A good blend of two enjoyable tropes. Lock wished he'd been born with a bunch of cheats sometimes, sure, but he could settle with being functionally immortal by abusing the system as well. All rights to the art belong to Stefan Koidl, you can find his works here

Not your average Bird
Rago didn't have what you would call a good life... Or lives, in his case. For you see, Rago is one of an infinitesimally small number of people that remembers his previous lives. In his first life, he was a young spartan warrior that was killed for being too weak. In his second life, he was a young squire in the courts of Camelot that was tragically killed when his master lost control of his horse, and it kicked him in the head. In his third life, he was a child soldier in Africa that managed to escort a group of children to safety before he was shot in the head by their now ex-captors. And in his fourth life, he spent his entire life in a hospital bed being treated for a currently incurable auto-immune disease. ... But, that's when things changed. He was suddenly brought before an all-powerful being and given yet another go at life... Let's hope things are different this time.

Gaijin
Gaijin means outsider or foreigner. That goes doubly so for David Wyatt after he found himself in a world being chased by something that looked eerily like a stereotypical Japanese Oni. Now, he has to figure out how he can find his place in a world where most people dislike him on principle. At least everything is also out to eat him in some way… wait, that’s a not a positive. This is a Eastern Fantasy GameLit story. It is primarily told from the main character's perspective with the very common trope of an isekai. There will be my own spin on things, so facts I pull from eastern mythology and legends will be drastically different in some aspects. In the end, this story is just for your and my enjoyment. There will be guaranteed chapters every Friday at 15:00 CST, and I will randomly post chapters at other times when I get in the mood for writing or when I like a particular scene.

Iferes: Slaves Of The Gods
Iferes are creatures that roam the world. They are everywhere, and anywhere. From the deepest seas, to the highest mountains. From the heart of volcanos, to the never melting glaciers. Some are weak, some are strong. Some are calm, some are bloodthirsty. What they all have in common, is that they fight for survival. For hundreds of thousands of eras, humans and Iferes lived in a world of war and blood. Ifere against Ifere, Ifere against humans, and humans against humans. But one day, in a very distant past, the twelve Mystic Iferes, and the twelve greatest kings of humanity, joined hands to end that cruel era. Together, they created a contract. A contract that, once made, would bound the two parties, and could only be broken in death. Millions of years went by, and that period of war faded in legends. And a child was born, a child that would change everything. For bad or worse, only time would say. ----------------------------- Hello, everyone! Just a few warnings before you read the novel, so you won't be disappointed. First of all, as you can probably tell, I took more than a few ideas from pokemon and the like. It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed). As such, there probably will be interruptions in the release schedule here and there, but, if you followed me on my other novel, you will know I rarely missed an upload, and, when I did, I always made up for it. So, with all that said, I hope you can give the novel a try, and leave a review. If you are a new reader, I hope we can have a lot of fun along the way. If you read Broke, then we already made a journey together, and I hope you will follow me on a new one. Also, you should check out my patreon, there you can get chapters in advance (although they will all be published normally after a while), and a few other benefits. I appreciate every bit of support you can give me! patreon.com/reis123 PS: there will be romance, but no harem or reincarnation. The MC is just someone who was born and raised on this world.
