i continued to eat my food, but, it was pretty i was feeling incredibly guilty, but i don't know what for. i know it's for Brandon. but, should i feel bad? i mean, was i supposed to say yes as a lie to satisfy him and throw myself into a relationship i don't want? or did i do the right thing?

Zion says and sits down beside me and i shake my head, putting my fork down on the plate and sighing, "you were truthful about your feelings and Brandon will have to get over that." he explains and lightly grabs my chin, turning my face to face him and he then could see the frown on my face and the glisten over my eyes.

"Lorin." he says and pull me into a hug, "don't feel bad." he sighs and i don't reply seeing as my face was still muffled into his chest, yes, his chest given my small ass height.

"he's just, such a good guy." i reply and look down again, my hair falling over my face to hide me.

"baby, it's— "don't call me baby! i'm not your girl!" i suddenly snap and it makes him jump in surprise as i continue to tense up.

once i realized what i did i quickly stand up and turn to face to window, "i-i'm so sorry, Caleb. i just. don't know if i CAN be win you. i think i'm feeling something for you, i just can't pin it down. i guess i'm still not perfectly ready." i explain and he gets up slowly, walking over to me and setting his hands on my small hips, turning me around to face him and he leaves a gentle kiss on my lips, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"however long it takes, ma." he whispers and i nod as he back up from me and walks over to the door, showing himself out.

i was going to tell him thank you for the breakfast, but he was already gone. and i think i knew exactly what i wanted the moment he was TRULY gone.

and i'm going to tell him.
